Sausage and fennel pizza

If you're looking for delicious beer along side with amazing food and great service this is the brewery to go to. We started off with the pretzel and the spicy beef empanadas and while I was super delicious. The pizza was so yummy and freshly made and the kitchen is right behind you see you can see them cooking your pizza. Lastly the chicken sandwich was very good as well and we ended up adding cheese to the sandwich. They have amazing flights here which is great if you want to try all their different types of beer. The staff was wonderful and friendly and our waiter was super sweet and made the overall experience very good. I would definitely recommend to come here for great beer and excellent food.

First time I have ever been here as a local resident. From very low and fruity blends to imperial 14% apv stouts, it's a Brooklyn brewery. Had a couple of bengalis and my homeboy had a stout and an orange blend. Henry chopped it up with us and explained the brewery and everything past and during Covid, cool ass dude who explained everything about the locale and it's future expansion. Really enjoy drinking this specific brand and I from the crowd coming after us it shows I'm not the only one. Got some dope stickers while leaving too, glad you guys support BLM. Keep it up team.

Stopped at Sixpoint Brewery on Saturday afternoon. A fairly limited brewery in terms of both beer and space, but it offers fans a chance to try a few harder to find beers. Quality: Sixpoint Brewery is a bit cryptic about the actual brewery arrangement, so we didn't know exactly what we were walking into. They are more a facility than as a tasting room, but they have set up a small beer garden. They had six beers available on tap, but also offered single cans to add ten more options to the menu. We stuck with the Draft Pours and tried Super Jammer 75, Spritzer Bomb, Velour Tracksuit, and Righteous Rye. All the beers were fine, none really stood out. I think Righteous Rye, a barrel aged rye ale was probably the highlight of the bunch, adding a little kick to the traditional ale. Quantity: They only do Draft Pours in plastic cups, but with only six taps there is not much tasting needed. Value: $6-$8 for Draft Pours. $6-$9 for Single Cans To Stay. Ambiance: Sixpoint Brewery is located in the Red Hook area of Brooklyn. I have passed by several times since my move earlier this year, but this was the first time I saw it open. They have a small outdoor patio area towards the center of the facility. Out front they had a few tables in the sun as well as a food cart. Inside they had about ten high top tables, which were able to grab some shade from the tall walls surrounding the patio. A open space housed a few fridges of beer and the portable tap machine. Music played from the cart outside, but it didn't reach very far. Crowd: It is a pretty small space, but every table was occupied on Saturday afternoon. They are really more set up for beers to-go, but the small beer garden space allows guests a chance to try a small selection of unique beers. Service: The staff was extremely friendly, though a little frustrated with the less than ideal temporary tap set up. They had a water bowl out for our dog before we even had a chance to ask. Parking: Plenty of street parking throughout the area.

I've been drinking Sixpoint since I've been old enough to drink (and probably before then too, shhh), so they'll always have a special place in my heart (especially the Crisp). So when they released their app for the public to buy small batch releases, I knew I had to order some. Plus, they would be opening up their space to the public for the first time ever during can pickup hours! Their building in Red Hook was messed up by Hurricane Sandy, so I heard they're still a ways away from having a real taproom, but they made due with a refrigerator with built-in taps and free samples of everything they had, even super limited edition beers, like the Smoothie and the Dubbletake. They also had a DJ spinning tunes, and a food partner selling empanadas. Staff was awesome, and the artwork on the walls was beautiful. For their first time running an event like this, everything was incredibly well organized. So kudos to everyone who made that happen, and I'll see you guys again soon!

Mild buffalo wings, fries, 2 cocktails

Went on a quick date here, which was 75 cent wings Wednesday's. The atmosphere was pretty cool as we were greeted by the fantastic artwork on the walls. We were seated pretty quickly and the waiters quickly approached our table ready for our orders. My date and I decided to try two of their recommended cocktails but was slightly disappointed with the wing flavor selections, (Mild, buffalo and spicy). Nonetheless we ordered about 15 wings to share among the 2 of us. The drinks weren't terrible but we definitely had better. Unfortunately the wings were fried pretty hard so it was a bit of a challenge chewing our chicken. We also ordered a side of fries which arrived cold and pretty salty and didn't bother ordering a fresh batch. The overall experience wasn't too displeasing and the waiters were very accommodating. They asked if we wanted fresh drinks to try but we had to make it to movie on time so we declined but was very much appreciated by the offer. Maybe they were overwhelmed in the kitchen as to why our food was subpar but I think I'd give them another shot in the future to see if anything changes.

Anyone know what time they open?

I think they only open on certain Saturdays when the y have a specialty beer release party. You need to buy beer on the Sixpoint app in order to get in.

On the positive side, it's a very spacious bar and I saw board games stacked up, which tells me it can be a fun place to hang out. Now to the not as great. I sat at the bar and after looking at their cocktail menu, I ordered a French 75. You can imagine my surprise when I was served a drink in a single rocks glass which is basically what you'd serve an old fashion or other cocktail in. A French 75 needs to be in a flute. And at first, I thought maybe they don't have any flutes. Which still perplexed me because why have a French 75 on the menu if you don't have the right glassware. But I looked behind the bar and lo and behold, saw a flute. So not sure what that was about. The drink itself was ok. The other weird thing is that when I ordered, she rang it up and handed me the handheld device to pay. Since I was sitting at the bar, I'd expect to at least be asked if I wanted to open a tab or to just wait. Payment before the drink was made just rubbed me different. And of course, gratuity was tacked on, also rubbed me wrong. Because while I planned to tip, adding your own tip automatically to 1 drink is icky.

Wish I had time to explore the menu more. But only came here for drinks with some friends. It was a…read moreMonday night when we came, so it was pretty peaceful. The bartender let us know exactly where to order. Lychee martini 6/10: on the heavier side with the taste but it definitely got me tipsy. Wish there was more lychee flavor to it.

Bartender Camden was welcoming and friendly, it was fun to chat with him on a quiet afternoon. The space is along a quiet street with low ceilings, it's very cozy with soft lighting and art, plus beer signs. The beer menu was great with some fun styles. They have a small selection to go as well. If you're looking for a quiet and cozy spot to enjoy some local beer, this is a great option and I'd definitely come back!

It seemed like she didn't want to be there and anytime I asked questions about the beer, she had an attitude like I was bothering her. I ordered a flight and I enjoyed the beers. They have some great tasting beers on tap. The music was great, it was a blend of 90's jams. They don't serve food, but they allow you to bring in your own. The decor was simple, felt a bit cold and the vibe was chill. It's a small interesting space, when we arrived it was just us and 2 other small parties. When we left, there was a chaotic stroller party happening in the back. The brewery filled up pretty quick on a Saturday afternoon, with one slow moving angry woman pouring beers, it took awhile to get a beer. If the woman behind the bar had provided better customer service, I might have left a higher scoring review. I really wanted to like this place. Will I be back, probably not.
