We found John McHugh Electric on Yelp, and we couldn't be happier that we decided to work with him. We moved to an old house with a basement that had hazardous wiring and light fixtures that weren't properly connected to the switches. There were also double tapped circuits in the electrical panel. So we hired John to remove old wires and outdated light fixtures, rewire junction boxes, replace old cable with romex, and install new LED light fixtures and an additional sub panel to add more space for future use. And John did an impeccable job with Mike! Not only was he a great electrician who is extremely knowledgable and professional, he was also honest, respectful, transparent, and all in all a total pleasure to work with. Unlike some other electricians who came by for a quote and then thereafter either went MIA or tried to upsell more things to us, John was super responsive, punctual, and candid. Look forward to working with him again in the future.

He diagnosed my problem instantly, and had it fixed in no time at all. Good sense of humor, too. I'm so glad to have him available for when I need future work.

Will absolutely use him again in the future if needed.

One of the decks required removal of a flight of stairs and both needed to have the railings reinforced. Working with Gabriel to make this happen was a pleasure! Not only did his team do a great job repairing our worn decks, but also they cleaned the work spaces thoroughly each day. All in all, we are very pleased and intend to contact Gabriel Iwano whenever we have a construction project in the future.

Very pleased with Mike and Quick Appliance. Had a broken ice…read moremaker in my refrigerator. From the initial call to final repair everything was professionally and quickly addressed. From the start what I really liked was, over the phone he walked me through basic troubleshooting (this was before he charged me anything) just to make sure it wasn't something simple that could be fixed without him coming out. After that he was true to his arrival times, called to confirm the day before and contacted me when he was on his way the day of repair. He correctly diagnosed the problem, set proper expectations about when parts would arrive and quickly installed the needed part once it arrived. He is upfront about his pricing and also lets you know that while he believes the problem is diagnosed it is possible something else could be an issue. In my case there was nothing further but no doubt this can happen. Plan to bring him back to install my new dishwasher. Thanks Mike!

The guy who arrived to do the work seemed a little unprepared (no voltmeter and I had to give him directions to True Value to pick one up). Ultimately, he couldn't complete the job that I wanted done and told me that I needed an electrician as I had a wiring problem. The electrician I later had out said that it wasn't a wiring problem, but a problem with installation of the fixture. I didn't know who was right, but in the end, I'm happy to have the light working again. I contacted Bob and let him know what the electrician said. While Bob disagreed, he still offered to refund my money. Such customer service is very hard to find and I was a little blow away by it. So, they have earned my respect. I would use them in the future, but probably not for electrical work based on this experience.

Fabian responded in a very timely manner along with an hourly rate. I really appreciated the quick reply and the rate he provided because that is not the case with most contractors. We ended up going with someone else due to our time constraint but when I let Fabian know, he cordially accepted and still replied back to wish us the best and to call on him if there are future requests. Again, I appreciated this follow-up because not a lot of folks respond if the project doesn't move forward. Just based on the excellent communication and rate of services, I'll plan to reach out to Fabian if we have other tasks that require handyman services.
