My cat and I have been very satisfied with their services. She is shy and sometimes nervous around strangers, but she has engaged with all of the sitters and they provide photos of her letting them pet her, etc. She has had lots of sitters so far and every one of them has been great. My fiance and I were on vacation for almost two weeks and our kitten was left all alone! Sitter4Paws was really, really great. They came over before we left to ask questions about the routine and whatnot. Our kitten had just become an only child a week before (due to his brother getting very sick :( ) I really wanted him to not feel stressed and loved and Sitter4Paws did it! They fed him everyday, played with him and snuggled with him. He was scared the first few days but he quickly warmed up. (Side fact: That socializing didn't last long, he is scared of his own shadow now LOL) We'd often spy on our kitten cam, and the sitters were great and sweet! They even left some Kitten TV on from Youtube when they left (per our request). Some sitters were more attentive than others. Some were really lovely with our kitten and a few were on their phone majority of the time (which I'm not a fan of. Plus, we had a cute ass 4 month old kitten!) The daily pictures/updates are a plus! Sitter4Paws (west side) has been great. They had no problem giving medications to my kitten, and the detailed notes and photos they send after each visit are helpful. (They were even very gracious and understanding when I inadvertently set the house alarm on without having given them the code.) My wife and I have used Sitter4Paws numerous times to come by and visit our two needy cats. We wholeheartedly recommend the service and the people that they employ. Well before we needed their services, Sitter4Paws sent somebody over to meet us and our cats, and to see our apartment for logistical purposes. She was so nice and thorough. Using the Sitter4Paws site is super easy. Very useful to be able to enter payment information there, schedule appointments, and monitor billing. It's all seamless. But the best part is how awesome their people are to our two cats. For example, we were on vacation for a few weeks, and each and every single day a Sitter4Paws staff member sent us photos of our cats, and provided reassuring descriptions of how the cats behaved. I am really happy with Sitter4Paws. I tried them after being disappointed too many times with my previous pet sitter company. Their rates are fair & I love that they use lock boxes so I am not having to hand over a set of keys which makes it so easy. Each sitter is very thorough with sending a report with pictures and all the details of the visit. Having a profile with all my my Pets needs described is super helpful at letting me be worry free when I head out of town. I like that I can just select a time frame that works best for me and my pet and Sitter4Paws makes it happen. Overall I have been very happy with my pet sitter experience. I watched my visit on my Nanny cam. Garret spent almost the entire visit on his iphone wth his headphones on. When my cat came over to him seeking affection, he turned away and went back to his phone. He then left 15 minutes early for a 45-minute paid visit. I called the owner who was very nice and gave me credit for the visit. Although she did try to excuse him for spending so much time on his phone by saying that sitters have to read the portals to see what your cats need. If that were true, then he would have known exactly how long he was supposed to stay. Didn't make sense to me. In short, I don't come to expect much from these types of services. They will feed your pets, clean your litter, take a few pics and write a cute story of the visit. As far as how much attention is paid, watch your nanny cams and find out for yourself. For a 5-star rating, I don't expect non-stop attention to my cats during a visit, but I certainly don't expect them to be ignored. And my cats were 6-month old adorable kittens. Go figure. read more

Over the Thanksgiving holiday they watched my cat and went out of their way to notify me that my kitchen sink had a problem that was causing a leak. I don't even know where to begin... Kelly and Juan Carlos are amazing!!! I rescued Miss Chloe about 6 months ago. She is a Pit bull. I wanted to make sure that her dog walkers were not going to be afraid to discipline or be stern. The process of "rehabilitation" if needed could take a while. Chloe and I were just getting to know each other. The last thing I wanted was a bad behaved Bully Dog or someone who undid my training. I have been using them for about 5 months. Juan Carlos came first to meet Chloe and to bring me my lock box. Which I think is amazing, you don't have to give anyone a key to your house. They are always on time and ALWAYS keep me updated on my baby when she is home alone. Sometimes I am forgetful and think about texting Kelly and forget or I get called at the last minute for a job and need them day of, hour of, minute of, multi times a day. They are there!!! Her water bowl is always full when I get home and if she makes a mess, It's picked up. Unfortunately Chloe has had a few injuries. Whenever she has been injured and unable to walk, they come take her potty and sit and play with her. Give her treats lots of belly rubs, That is her favorite thing!!! Last week my neck was out and I couldn't take Chloe on our run. I Text Kelly and Juan Carlos came to get her. When I opened the door for him, she was sooooooo excited(I was a little jealous, BUT SOOOOOO HAPPY) to see him. In that very moment I knew that without a doubt that She loves them and trusts them. They take such good care of her when I am not home! I never have to worry. My intuition was spot on when I called them! Sitter 4 Paws is an amazing service! They took great care of our two cats, one of which has diabetes and requires insulin shots twice a day. They leave detailed notes and lots of photos after every visit. The only reason I gave them 4 stars rather than 5 is that on the first visit we had from them, the sitter accidentally locked herself out of our apartment. This is the best pet-sitting services that I've ever used - including better than my friends (no offense guys!). Sitter4Paws truly cares about your pet and TRULY takes care of them. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to my cats. I even have a 3 page manual for how to care for them when we are out of town. I used to supply this to all my sitters. Well - with Sitter4Paws, there was no need! Your first interaction with them is to set-up a meet-and-greet and show them the ropes. The person who visits during this consultation takes notes, which are later written up and emailed to you for confirmation. The first time we used this service, we were gone for a whole month. Now that's a big risk to take for a first experience with a new service. But we didn't have a choice and I selected Sitter4Paws because of their awesome reviews on Yelp. They did NOT disappoint! I received pictures and an update from EVERY visit. FOR A MONTH. That's a kind of dedication you can only dream about. Very accommodating. Also - it's important to know that each visit may not be the same sitter. I was wary of this at first, but I could tell that each sitter was very consistent. All the updates I received demonstrated that they had all taken care of my kitties with the same high quality of service and treated them the same each visit. Anyway - long story short, Sitter4Paws is just an amazing little company and their services are fantastic. They take excellent care of your pets, EXACTLY the way you've asked them too! This review is long overdue. I have been taking my puggle to Kelly and Juan's house for dog boarding a number of times over the last year after a couple bad experiences at bigger boarding places. They take a few dogs in their house at the same time, so it feels much more like I'm dropping Molly off at a friends place to watch her than it does like boarding. They have a big backyard (by LA standards), and the dogs get to roam free in and out of the house to play with each other and their toddler son. The fact that they have a small child makes me feel very comfortable about the types of dogs they will let in their house. There is a gate around the front of the house as well so it feels secure for the dogs. Most importantly, there's no hiding it when Molly loves someone or alternatively if she's had a bad experience somewhere, and Molly squeals with joy, wagging her tail with excitement whenever she sees Kelly and runs right into the house without even looking back at me. She does not give that greeting to everyone. Kelly doesn't seem to mind my incessant check-ins to see how Molly is doing while we are on travel, and she keeps me updated with what Molly is up to and sends pics periodically. Molly always comes back well taken care of and tired. I found the prices to be reasonable, right around the same price as what Id pay at a big boarding service, even a bit cheaper than some....and instead Molly gets more personal attention in a smaller home setting here. We never tried the dog walking service but had planned to before we moved away to Chicago. Kelly came over to assess our place and put together very thorough instructions for the walkers. Ultimately we never ended up using their services for walking so I can't really comment much more on them. Overall I am incredibly picky about where I leave my baby when we go away, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend over night boarding with Kelly and Juan. read more

Right on the phone they made me feel so good and assured me that they are the right people for my dog. Juan Carlos came by and met with me and my dog and spent over an hour getting to know us. Not only he walks my dog he also helps me on how to manage his activeness and trained me to be a better dog owner. I know my dog gets super happy when Juan Carlos comes to pick him up.
