She didn't need any hand holding - she just jumped right in. We provided her with instructions on the evening routine and she followed our instructions without any issue. She had to watch 3 kids all under the age of 4 and did an amazing job. The kids loved her and we would hire her again in a heartbeat if we return.

Allison would be the first girl I would call (and have called) to fill in and/or join me in a childcare opportunity. Because of her deep love for children, she takes her job very seriously and always puts the safety, joy, and comfort of the child first. Not only was she a joy to work alongside, but she is exactly what identifies and true friend. All in all, Allison is incredible and you should definitely choose her as your next childcare provider!!!

All of our branches provide multiple options for privacy including single stall restrooms, and privacy curtains on all shower stalls. There was a wonderful group of people who worked there that treated us like family and adored my granddaughter and she loved them all right back. I only have good things to say about this center, and all of their staff that have worked there through-out those five years. Our family and granddaughter have wonderful memories from daycare there from trunk r treating at Halloween time, to Christmas parties, and themed weeks, etc. We are also thankful they had a pre-school graduation with cap and gown for her, because her kindergarten class in elementary school did not offer that, so at least she got to have that experience with Beach Babies.

**********I initially tagged Kids Cottage in this but they blocked me to remove their tag. Talk…read moreabout accountability. I had my son on the Kids Cottage waiting list for over a year and called periodically to check on our status. After all that time, I was told today when calling to follow up, they had supposedly called me on 5/12 to offer us a spot. I checked my phone records, and there was no incoming call from Kids Cottage on that date. They also claimed they attempted to leave a voicemail but couldn't because my mailbox was full, which is untrue considering my voicemail has never been full. I spoke directly with Megan, who said she made the call and documented it. Based on my phone records, either the wrong number was called or the documentation was inaccurate. I even offered to bring my Verizon records to verify that no call was received, but I was told it would be "pointless." Instead of acknowledging the possibility of an error or working toward a reasonable solution, the only option they offered was to place us back at the very end of the waiting list, meaning another one to two years of waiting. After contesting that Megan rudely stated that we are banned from Kids Cottage and hung up on me. Very professional. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and customer service from the administrative staff was extremely disappointing. If this is how they handle something as important as enrollment, it raises serious concerns about their organization. While I'm frustrated that we lost over a year waiting due to an administrative mistake on their end, I'm ultimately relieved my son won't be attending a daycare that handles families this way or doesn't train their staff appropriately.

I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. Management is horrible. The director is OK with her…read moreteachers being rude and bullies. I had a problem with one of the teachers and instead of the director having a conversation with the parents and the teacher she refused. She thought it was a better option to talk to us separately. One of the problems I had with the teacher is she sent my Child's underwear home with literally poop in it. Another problem that I had was knew that my potty trained yet she sent him home in underwear and I didn't know about it until he had an accident. This teacher does not know how to communicate. The way she dresses is inappropriate for a daycare center.I said something to the director her response back to me was this isn't an excuse, but I think she picked up bad habits from the other teacher that was there for years! (She works in the school district now ) my child didn't even belong in this class. It was for the older four-year-old. My kid just turned three in August and when I asked why the teachers weren't moved, so my kid could go to his class that he's supposed to be, I was told she likes the teachers where they're at . if you go on Google the assistant director gave Kids Cottage a five star review yet she has no kids. It's a shame because this place is really nice, but it is ran so poorly by management. Management gossip about other employees to other employees. they even gossip about all the children and the the parents To each other. I literally had a teacher tell me that they all really need to stop gossiping about children to each other . They also will call me and tell me my child has a fever. I'll come pick my child up. Took my child straight to the doctors. No medicine was given and the doctor tells me my child has no fever. My pediatrician told me the same thing about Kids Cottage and another parent has gone through the same thing. I also told the director that I was pulling my oldest child out of there because of this teacher, and because I said that to her she insisted on kicking my baby out as well. I come in there to pick up my children The assistant Director gets in my face will not let me go grab my children deletes me off this app called brightwheel I don't know the last time my baby ate. I don't know the last time my baby was changed. This director treated me like this 5 years ago when this lady decided to grab my child after I told her to get off my child. the director threatens to kick me and my child out one of the teachers literally grabs my child and tells the director to stop that she's scaring the children Never got an apology. Never got talked about it again. I even wrote the owner and never even got a response back. I was even asked last year to write a review on Kids Cottage by management!

My son would always be walking around with his onsie unbuttoned and hanging out of his pants. He never learned anything while he was there either, next issue any other daycare in sussex county is open later then 5:30 and provide lunch. Also if you get there at 5:30 be prepared to be rushed out and locked out in the parking lot. The owner is never there and absolutely unhelpful if you ever need anything along with saying things that she doesn't mean. Also beware if you ever get behind on paying daycare they have no problem filling your spot whether you make your daycare bill or not learned that in a unpleasant way also. Unprofessional and uncaring plain and simple also watch the refrigerators were your kids lunches get stored never feel cold and if you look at the inside thermometer reads almost 60 degrees! And last but not least what is the point in a security door if you leave it unlocked at all times plus they will leave the key in the door that leads to the outside too. Think twice or more before you go to this place its over priced for nothing. 150 doesnt include anything! My son now attends beach babies and its worth every penny! 180 includes everything its secure and they actually teach the kids something! please do your homework for your childs sake!
