He guided us through the pressure test and then showed us mattresses not only based on those results, but also tailored to our specific goals: we wanted something that stayed cool, had strong edge support, was great for side sleeping, reduced motion transfer so I wouldn't feel my husband moving around, and would work with our current adjustable frame. We thought the process would take 2-3 hours, but thanks to John's knowledge and attentiveness, we found the perfect mattress in under an hour! The bed is being delivered the very next day, which was such a bonus. What really stood out was that John never once tried to upsell us on things we didn't need he was thorough, detailed, kind, and knowledgeable every step of the way. My experience at sit n sleep Ontario was akin to a never ending nightmare. I would not advise buying any mattress here, but if you do - Compare the Law/Legal tag on the mattress you try, and the mattress you receive. If you decide not to read, let your eyes tell the tale via the attached photos. To keep it relatively short, there is data on the law tags that tells you specifics of the mattress. One is "Net weight of internal filling material". This is essentially your wools, latex,polyfoam, fibers, feathers, ie the expensive stuff for the Comfort Layer. We tried a mattress in the storeroom that was a medium firm, very comfortable - we bought it. Received a mattress, Hard as a rock, mind you we gave it over two months to 'wear in'. After comparing both LAW tags. Our mattress had 55 pounds of internal filling material, store room had ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY POUNDS. Yes, 130% MORE pounds of comfort material. Can you imagine HOW MUCH MATERIAL that 130 pounds IS? No wonder our bed was rock hard. The salesman and customer service will claim to have no idea what it means (despite their combined 50 years of experience) laughable. Yet these industry professionals have no idea what information a basic mattress law /Legal tag is providing. Intentionally dishonest. We opened an investigation with them so they asked to give another chance and send a replacement. Their delivery truck arrived and we rejected a worse mattress with even less filling material. We verified our information with other stores/professionals to validate. We were knowingly deceived. At every step of this nightmare, the personnel became more unbearable. The customer service was incredibly rude, inappropriate, and hung up on us multiple times. Its all clouds and rainbows until their warranty or money is in jeopardy. Their customer service even tried to tell me lies about me confusing the law tag with the store price tag. Intentional dishonesty. We finally had enough and requested a refund, they couldnt promise a full refund they stated. The 3rd time we were hung up by customer service on was due to our unavailability to a same day pick up of the return. Once their team arrived to pick up the mattress, they grabbed the pillow cases, adjustable base, protective sheet, extra hardware - and said the mattress was not on the refund sheet, REFUSED to take it, LEAVING the mattress. To be fair this was likely the company that botched this, willingly or not. After going somewhere else i realized how low quality the adjustable base even was. Please think twice about going to Scam n' Sleep. Deceptive, Fraudulent, Dismissive, Inappropriate, Dishonest. I have never had this experience with this size of a legitimate company before Id wish it on nobody else. Go elsewhere. This place is so wrong for the mattress that I bought there. I got it in 2022 a beauty rest and it is sunk so low now I need to get another mattress set. Omg never again to purchase a set there. Sit n Sleep Rating Sit n Sleep is has bad customer service. It first started with good salesmen helping us selecting the mattress. But then they keep trying to sell you products that you can get somewhere else. And once you purchase from them and if you're not satisfied with the product, they don't take returns at all. So it's like we're stuck with the product that we paid money on and were not satisfied with it. Then when I had ordered the bed and had it delivered, they brought the WRONG bed. And when I try to exchange it for the correct one, they have the nerve to try to charge a restocking fee. Like why should I pay a restocking fee when you're delivery people messed up and brought me the wrong one. Also, everything was in Spanish. On top of that, they messed up the stair banister and now I need to get that fix. So we went back to this location and worked with Casey and ordered the correct bed. But now in trying to get it delivered he claim that we refused to sign a paper that says "this is the last time for an exchange" when he never told us about it at all. So Casey lied about that. We never refused to do anything. They make everything such a hassle to do an exchange and the fact that EVERYTHING has to go through customer service and through the actual store. They can't do anything unless customer service tells them anything. It's like the store is their puppet. It was a lot of back and forth trying to hash this out. This calls for a complaint to corporate. Be careful when shopping at sit n sleep and don't let them sell you anything you don't need because you can get better ones elsewhere. read more

I just purchased a new mattress during their Memorial Day Sale, which was 50% off all mattresses + some special deals, and I had the most wonderful experience. I came on the last day of their sale on Monday (yesterday 05/25) Since the current pandemic, I was worried of sanitation and overall cleanliness. Right when I walked in, I was greeted by a cheerful lady who asked usual preemptive measures for COVID-19 safety and also handed me a liner so I can comfortably lay on the tester mattresses. She also informed me that Tim would help me out in a moment and explained the color of tags and their meaning to me while I was trying out the mattresses. Once Tim was able to help me, he really gave me a run-down of the best comparisons to the one I was favoring and the "technology" used in the mattresses. He then allowed me to have the time to choose my mattress without the annoying bombarding/hovering of a sales associate. Afterwards, he was able to give me multiple options for mattress protectors and was not only trying to sell me one product. I love being able to have choices when making a large purchase! Overall, Tim was AWESOME and this Sit 'n Sleep location is up-to-date in cleanliness and their staff who I have encountered were very friendly and went above and beyond. read more

The one thing that stood out most in this store was management and how great it was. Art was the one who helped my wife and I, he was very patient and helpful in explaining the different bed types and which beds might be the most appropriate for us due to our difference in weight and sleeping patterns. I appreciated that he didn't appear to push any products onto us, but gave us ample time to try the different beds, and was available for questions at any time. It made the bed finding experience seamless for us, and in the end we found the bed we wanted. Granted, we bought the bed in November 2021, and its been 8 months since then, and I have no complaints about the bed he helped us find. I have had some of the best sleep since then. Wow mattress shopping is overwhelming! So many choices and price points! We went back and forth to so many different mattress stores trying to figure out what we liked and experienced many different shopping experiences/sales tactics even within the same chain. Once we narrowed down our mattress contenders, we ended up at this Sit n Sleep in Ontario to make a final decision. Art was the one working that day and made our mattress buying experience a pleasant one. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and patient while we were comparing mattresses. We never once felt pressured to make a decision or buy something, and although he of course had to be a bit sales-y it was never overbearing/pushy. We even got to try the cool tester bed. We decided on the Hybrid Infinity Cool Luxury mattress, got a good deal on it, confirmed it was in stock, and got it all paid for/scheduled. Cool we've got a mattress. On our way back home, we got a call from Art saying he made a mistake and the mattress was actually out of stock for a month but he'd fix his mistake by giving us a loaner mattress until it was back in stock or just give us a refund. We were a bit wary but decided to trust him with the loaner mattress. The whole process went super smoothly! We got the loaner mattress as discussed and then when we called to check if our actual mattress was in stock, we got that one delivered smoothly and the loaner mattress taken away. Overall very happy with Sit n Sleep and our experience with Art. Our mattress is 10x better than our old Ikea mattress and we love it! read more
