To add insult to injury, they placed items full of mold into our bed instead of alerting me to the items so I could instruct them to throw them away. I contacted the business owner and he was dismissive. I will never use this company again and advise others to avoid it at all costs.

We decided to try and set up the cleanings for the day before a large event at our two homes (we live next door to each other with a combined back yard). Making the appointment was seamless; the gentleman we both talked to was happy to set up the cleaning for the date and do the two houses back to back. We were both very excited that we could have our houses cleaned prior to the event. On the day of cleaning, the cleaning team was scheduled for a 4pm start, but arrived closer to 5 (there was a phone call, though, to let us know). We had a team of two cleaners, who brought their own vacuum and cleaning supplies. My daughter was pleased with the job they did at her house-- they vacuumed, cleaned 2 bathrooms (one was fairly clean already), dusted, and cleaned the kitchen. She was happy with the results; items were moved and dusted, kitchen all cleaned, etc. They came over to my home and got started there. I asked them to vacuum (but not dust) 3 of the 4 rooms upstairs, and clean both upstairs bathrooms, vacuum one of the two bedrooms downstairs, the dining room, (small) living room, and a larger added room in the back, as well as cleaning the downstairs bath and the kitchen. I also asked them to steam (with my steam unit) the kitchen floor rather than some other cleaning method. I was very happy with the upstairs cleaning and the downstairs vacuuming. They managed to get some stains (hair color) out of the upstairs shower and downstairs bath, which were spotless. The kitchen, however, was not really cleaned as well as it could have been. It didn't appear that they had moved items off the counter before cleaning; it basically looked as though they had wiped around everything. They also did not clean any of my appliances (the fronts, I didn't expect to have them clean inside), nor did they wipe down the obvious stains on some of my white kitchen cabinets. It almost seemed like they ran out of steam once they got to the kitchen, unfortunately, that was the main thing I was interested in having done (besides the bathrooms). The two ladies who came out were very nice and friendly, so that was a plus. Overall, I was ok with the cleaning service, but not wowed. I might use them again with another Living Social, but would be much more clear about where to focus their time and energy.

Based on the exchange, it was recommended that I book their 2 hour service. In the 2 hours that they were here (team of two), the upstairs bathrooms were completely revitalized. You can tip via the website when you pay the invoice but I opted for cash tips; $80 per since my bathrooms were large and I understand it wasn't an easy task to do especially if a deep cleaning was needed and selected. Ronnie and I were extremely happy w/ the outcome and would recommend this service if you need to clean your place to move out. If money wasn't an issue, I would use this service to clean the entire house once every 2 weeks.
