Mineral Point is this cute little town, formerly a miner's town, full of stone buildings that now house many art galleries. They have a gallery night the first Saturday of each month, and many of the artists are on hand to chat with about their work. Wine and cheese is served as well. My absolute favorite was this gentleman, Ben Brummerhop; he was a former iv-meth user now celebrating his 5th year drug free. He uses a syringe to paint with, and his paintings were beautiful - modern mixtures of gorgeous colors and swirls. He apparently is going on an international tour as well. Love inspirational success stories like this! also featured - gorgeous jewelry and other beautiful art from many local and national artists. Great place!

I should be the one chasing usps. When asked about ruing a Christmas present she hung up. Rude and unprofessional. Stay away.
