Appointments are on time - sometimes they get you in early and there have been times I've left before my actual appointment time. Receptionists are great and will do their best to get you the appointment time you need - even if you need to go to an a different office location. My kids liked the practice - loved the games, the gift cards they could earn and of course the frozen lemonade machine. They do cater to the kids - they are the patients. My dentist recommended them to me. I have no negative experiences and would and have recommended them to my friends. My time at the orthodontist is over.... 5 years of CFSS visits - but thankfully it was a good experience and hopefully my kids will keep wearing their retainers....

He was highly recommended. My son had a beautiful smile when we were done and I couldn't had been happier until 6 months after a incorrectly fitted retainer resulted in a disaster. This guy had the gall to blend it in lack of wearing his retainer. Nope! That isn't true. Then they checked the fit. It wasn't fitting properly. No follow ups, nothing. By the way he got over $6000 from us. I even requested to split the difference. Nope! Well we are now seeking a new orthodontist to do the job right. Be sure to get a guarantee for a year after. Even the hygienist was very kind and patient with our 5 year old child. Our child did not have any cavities or dental concerns so we scheduled a return visit for the following year. Our second visit was today and we had a horrible experience. We met with a different hygienist than before and she was rude, inpatient and made our child feel extremely uncomfortable with her remarks. Our child was nervous and started crying when the hygienist came in. Instead of being calm and patient, the hygienist told our child if she did not stop crying " Mommy would have to wait in the waiting room." Then she proceeded to call another hygienist in and told me to hold my child down so they could brush her teeth. I said, ABSOLUTELY NOT! If my child is nervous, why would I restrain her? That sounds very aggressive and abusive to me. I told the hygienist that we can cancel the appointment or try again another time. She walked us to the checkout area. As we were checking out I asked to schedule an appointment with Dr. Young ( the first doctor we saw). The secretary was nice and said she would do it, but before she could put the appointment in Dr. Michael B. Quigley came out and refused to let us reschedule our appointment. His exact words were " If your child cannot handle seeing different providers maybe you should go somewhere else to a smaller, more private practice." I said " Are you refusing us services? " He said " We are not going to reschedule you." He also proceeded to tell me he owns the practice. His racist undertone was disturbing to say the least. I would never go back there again. Despite this, the procedure was later billed to my insurance as successfully completed. As someone familiar with both New York State Dental Board expectations and insurance billing requirements, billing for treatment that is known to have failed raises serious ethical and compliance concerns. Additionally, I formally requested my complete patient records in September 2025. To date, I have not received them. Under New York law, patients are legally entitled to a copy of their dental records within a reasonable timeframe. This is not optional and does not require justification. My request remains unfulfilled. This review is intended to document my direct experience and to warn others to thoroughly review their treatment outcomes, insurance explanations of benefits, and ensure they receive their medical records when requested. I hope this practice takes accountability, follows legal requirements, and improves transparency and patient care going forward.

When we had our child's braces removed there were white marks all over her teeth. We were told the…read moremarks were just tartar build up so this along with the glue would be cleaned off by our dentist. We went into our dentist, not only did they remove tons of glue but they also let us know that the white spots are permanent damage to her enamel! They could not believe the ortho let her teeth get this way, & we had no idea! Each visit we brought her to they just said everything was fine, I cannot believe it. Do not send your child to this office, her teeth are now permanently damaged!
