She knows her product well and is so patient to explain every details, but most importantly, she's so sweet and nice which made me feel comfortable showing areas that I am self conscious about. I wanted to try spray tan for two reasons. 1) I have uneven skin tone with tiny bumps on the upper arms, so hoping spray tan can help cover that, and 2) I wanted to get a bit darker at the right spots (shadowing) to help looking more in tone. Soooooo I just want to be extremely clear - I am NOT pale, not REALLY ever! Mmmmmaayybbbeeee a little light during the winter months, but for the most part I am a cinnamon mocha carmel double machiatto during the warmer months if you know what I'm saying! HOWEVER, the transition from my "light winter coat" to my flavorful summer complexion can be a little daunting especially during that first bikini outting.... Which is WHY I will utilize a local tanning option for a nice spray or an unlimited one month trial (To each her own). This last time around I chose to go with a spray tan because a.) I've noticed a lot more brown spots on my face, which I HATE and don't want to exacerbate further.... and b.) My face is usually a shade lighter than my body once I get darker so why not make it an even playing field. THUS, I was referred to this business by a coworker and have NOT regretted it since!!!! I had an event I needed to attend on Saturday and called late in the day Friday for an appointment. They were closed for the day so I thanked them and hung up. A few minutes later Kelly called me back and asked if I had found anyone to tan me. When I told her I hadn't, she offered to fit me in that night. Awesome customer service! As for the tan itself, it looked perfect. Bronzed, without any hint of orange. Kelly was very thorough in her spray and the color was even all over my body. She had me put on special footwear that stuck to the bottom of my soles and prevented me from getting the bottom of my feet messy. The entire process took no more than 15 minutes. I've tried versa and mystic spray tanning in the past and have always looked orange and hated the smell. The solution that Kelly uses has very little scent and looks like a true suntan. Love my spray tan. The color was perfect for my fair complexion. Kelley gave me the perfect golden tan. It was even and the formula she uses is very moisturizing as my skin is very dry. Wow! We contacted Kelley to have her come to the house to give myself, my 18 year old daughter and her friend spray tans for a wedding. The spray tans that she gave to us looked so natural....that sun kissed look with no orange or streaking. My daughter is very light with white/blonde hair and was concerned about the tan looking fake. Kelley sent her pix ahead of time and reassured her that she would look totally natural. I wish I could give more stars. We were staying at the Hilton near Disneyland and my son needed a half body tan for a dance performance he was giving the next day so after looking on Yelp and calling around we got in touch with Sunless Mist and called them. They called back promptly and asked when we would like the tan because we needed it that day I think. Anyway, they said fine to the time I asked for, 4pm. Given they'd have to drive to a congested hotel, in a congested area (near Disneyland), on a Friday, and at rush hour I wondered if they would show and would be on time. We got a knock on our door on the stroke of 4pm, not a minute earlier, or later. I appreciate the professional service of being on time. The woman was lovely, congenial, professional, got right to the spraying, explained everything and asked how dark he wanted it. She gave him exactly what he wanted--a tan that didn't look fake, not too light, not too dark. She answered any questions, provided info. as to the upkeep etc and off she went. I forgot what we paid but it was very minimal. When i gave her a small tip you'd think I gave her gold, very appreciate. If I were ever in the area again I would definitely call them and I highly recommend them. What a treat to have a professional mobile tanning company. The tan lasted and looked great. I recently moved to sunny SoCal and was then diagnosed with Melanoma. I was only 39 years old. It was a scary day.
