I got a double forward helix and the other shop botched it completely. One of them was not even on my ear, but just about on the side of my face. Not to mention, both piercings wouldn't stop bleeding. I talked to Jeff and Ben and even they agreed with me. Ben took me in after his appointments and even worked with me on the price. He listened to me as I explained and he did exactly what I wanted. Their customer service is FAR above the other shop I went to and they have very personable. The environment is very clean too! I will definitely be back, and me and my husband have a consultation in a few days! Thanks Ben and Jeff very much!! I will not go anywhere else! Stefanie Feliciano

I said it because 1) I was very excited this was my first and 2) the representation is incredibly important and special to me and my husband. Once I settled down from my excitement, looked at the pictures, and video, it's not what I asked for nor was it what was drawn. My husband did also say he loved the picture. He only saw the final picture at the time. I did not show him the original or the drawing at the time I left. He said it looked like a star fleet badge. He too loves the representation. Once he saw the three pictures, let's say he was more than disappointed. This is a public platform, so I will not repeat what he said. As you can see, we love what it represents. The pictures speak for themselves. Yes, I willing paid $100. I was quoted $100, two weeks prior when I got my quote, and I was willing to pay it at that time as well. This review is strictly to show the three progressions so others can make a decision for themselves. Also, to let other new be's know if they are getting something small, there is a $100 minimum. You might be getting over charged for what you want. Had I received the first picture, I wouldn't feel like I over paid.

My first massage was at a much more expensive spa, yet this experience was far more relaxing, memorable, and enjoyable. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and at ease. The staff was warm, professional, and attentive, and the facility was spotless and calming. We chose the 60-minute couples massage, and for an hour we were able to completely disconnect from the world and simply relax together. If you're visiting the Outer Banks and looking for a way to unwind, treat yourself--you won't regret it. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already talking about coming back. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone considering a massage while in the OBX!

I was really looking forward to this experience since it was a special gift for someone, but…read moreunfortunately, the customer service left us disappointed. Before our appointment, we called several times to let the spa know we were running about 4-7 minutes late. No one answered our calls, and when someone finally did, we were told that the missed time would simply be taken off our massage. We understood the policy, but it was frustrating considering we made every effort to notify them in advance. When we arrived, there didn't appear to be any other clients waiting... it was just us on a weekday. I even asked if there was an option to purchase additional time or add-ons to make up for the shortened massage, but the front desk associate immediately said no. Given that the spa wasn't busy, I was hoping for a little flexibility. The front desk staff also came across as quite rude and dismissive. I was polite throughout the interaction, and because this was meant to be a special present, I was hoping for a more welcoming and understanding experience. A little kindness and consideration would have gone a long way. We weren't asking for special treatment... we simply tried to communicate ahead of time and hoped for a bit of flexibility. Unfortunately, the customer service didn't match the relaxing experience we were expecting.

Guisela also gave me some skin advice and a glass of champagne at the end of the treatment. I then moved to another room and spent 50 minutes on the massage table with Cathy.
