She replied quickly and was very accommodating when my brother asked for an appointment after mine. The shop is very clean and everyone was friendly. Bailey encouraged me to move my stencils and didn't make me feel guilty at all when I did ask for an adjustment, which has happened to me in the past with other artists. She was also very patient with my brother (this was his first tattoo); she explained every step of the process and checked in with him regularly. He ended up feeling a little light-headed and she was quick to give him a lollipop and encourage him to take his time getting up. Overall the process was smooth and professional, and my brother and I are very happy with the results! Highly recommend this shop and Bailey!

I said it because 1) I was very excited this was my first and 2) the representation is incredibly important and special to me and my husband. Once I settled down from my excitement, looked at the pictures, and video, it's not what I asked for nor was it what was drawn. My husband did also say he loved the picture. He only saw the final picture at the time. I did not show him the original or the drawing at the time I left. He said it looked like a star fleet badge. He too loves the representation. Once he saw the three pictures, let's say he was more than disappointed. This is a public platform, so I will not repeat what he said. As you can see, we love what it represents. The pictures speak for themselves. Yes, I willing paid $100. I was quoted $100, two weeks prior when I got my quote, and I was willing to pay it at that time as well. I did not know at the time it was too much for what I received. You shop is incredibly clean. Everyone is very nice and polite. The artist was very nice as well. This review is strictly to show the three progressions so others can make a decision for themselves. Also, to let other new be's know if they are getting something small, there is a $100 minimum. You might be getting over charged for what you want. Had I received the first picture, I wouldn't feel like I over paid.

We made the appointments and went though, the place was clean, well lit and they were friendly when we were setting up the appointment. Both of us had out tattoos done by Derek. I highly recommend him, he was great, has a light touch, worked with me to complete a custom design for mine and took great care to make sure my wife was comfortable. Derek was also a very cool guy, told a story about his surfing exploits and was personable. I would go back for more and if I figure out what to add, I may wait until I am in the OBX to go again. Went to this shop to get my nose pierced and my mom's. Shes in her 50s and has never had a piercing…read morebesides her ear lobes so it was kind of a big deal. Firstly, this was the first time I've ever been pierced when I didn't have the "artist" have you pick your jewelry before being pierced. That being said, we BOTH told him we wanted super small subtle jewelry and instead of coming out with the jewelry options, dude came out with his tools and pierced us. Me thinking this is a professional, thought oh he's just gonna bring out the smallest stuff he has, NO. Not only was my mom not happy with how LARGE the jewelry was (mind you I've had many face piercings including both sides of my nostrils done so I'm not completely oblivious) they had smaller gems on display that we saw as we were walking out. So she asked after seeing how large the jewel was if she could come back before she left town (providing the dates and everything) to get JUST the gem topper changed to a smaller gem, not replacing the whole post and gem, he said yes. Fast forward to today, we call just to make sure he's available, not only is the shop closed the day he said he would change it, he's not willing to do so anyways because it doesn't fit the "healing timeframe". I get the healing process but you didn't even allow us to pick jewelry and then lied when we asked to get what we wanted later and not replacing the entire jewelry. BAD PRACTICE! I will be recommending and going to VA beach for piercings from now on, no one in this area is reputable.
