From the estimate from Shawn - nicely detailed and reasonable, to the prompt communication from Alicia for the payments, paint delivery, etc., through the painting by David - four rooms done in 2 days with attention paid to prep work, 2 coats of paint and cleaning up - and then the final walk through with Savana - to make sure we were happy with the results. We are very happy with the results. I was also provided with some paint color suggestions and information about choosing paint colors in this area, which was useful. David was a fast and efficient worker - the job was done sooner than I expected as we had different colors of paint - 2 rooms of one color, and then 2 rooms with different colors in each. Everything went as planned for my exterior painting project. Good communication during the planning phase regarding what to expect and picking out paint type and colors. The painting crew was really nice. They were receptive to my requests to replace some areas of rotted wood. They did a good thorough job! There was one spot near the top of the house that got missed because it is difficult to see from the ground level. I noticed it a few days after completion and they came back and fixed it quickly. In terms of cost SPAL's bid was in the middle of the bids I got to paint my house. I would recommend SPAL for your painting project. read more

I could not be happier with the job that Sir Paints A Lot did for me on my kitchen cabinets. After a great convo with Shawn, he came out the next Saturday and gave me a proper bid. He told me about their process, paints used, color matching and warranty. When the time came, Cade and his crew arrived exactly on time and spent two full days prepping and painting the cabinets, while the doors/drawers were carefully wrapped and painted off-site. 1) Paints a lot but does not paint windows. 2) Took windows out, yes, and did not paint and then reinstalled six large windows incorrectly. 2) walls were dry rolled, leaving weird streaks. 3) Travis did outstanding repair work so gets the star. 4) Charges a lot. 5) I can't have them fix since I cannot afford to pay to reinstall windows properly again. After a handful of bids we went with SPAL. Shawn was very personable and detailed with the jobs at hand. The guys did a good job and some basic repair on a bath wall. We had the interior house painted very detailed and they cleaned up professionally. We then had the exterior house, some decking stained to match the other part of our exterior decking and detached garage painted. The two to three colors and stain scheme we chose really looks great. The house and garage look real crisp and clean. SPAL came back for warranted touch ups done at a later time by Travis. We did have some issues that were caused by water getting under the paint and a bubble ballooned out. Shawn came out and remedied it. Shawn took a detailed look around the house and garage to tackle any other issues, found a few and fixed them. SPAL communication and feedback is very good. In the future when we need more painting we will use Sir Paints A Lot. read more

I was extremely impressed with everyone that showed up. We love our new colors! It took 4 coats to go from dark brown gutters to white, but they wouldn't stop until it was perfect. Their attention to detail was second to none. I am very picky and I pick out most imperfections, but I am hard pressed to find any issues with the job these guys did. They even walked around with me afterwards and fixed everything my picky eye caught, which was next to nothing. They wanted to make sure I was happy with the job. Great experience. Everyone I dealt with was professional, knowledgeable, and committed to doing the best job possible. The estimator was prompt (and accurate). They even sent someone out to help me decide on paint colors when my neurosis was getting the best of me. The crew that was dispatched for my job were delightful. Focused, courteous, and fun. Really fun. I felt comfortable having them in my house for the better part of a week while I worked in my home office. By Day 2, my African Gray parrot was interacting with them. All in all, the job was completed on time and I was very pleased with the results.
