They are extremely accommodating and got me in the same day I called. They have a traditional barber shop on one side of their space as well for those who are looking for that unique experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get anything done!!

I have been getting my hair cut by Jean at Landmark Hair since August 2013. I choose Landmark Hair…read morefirst and foremost because Jean is certified with years of experience. He knows what he's doing and knows how to achieve the results I'm looking for. I've been to some of the newer "trending" barbershops and my personal opinion is that I just don't care if a barbershop has mood lighting, cool music, and TVs all over the walls. I'm just looking for a good haircut at a good price in a simple, clean, and quiet environment where I don't feel like most of my money is going towards interior decor and the barber can't hear what I'm saying because the music is so loud. Jean is easy to talk to, family oriented, and he works efficiently. His prices are affordable, his shop is central and I highly recommend his services. Tyler G

I could wait a week or so till my hair grew a little longer or they could just use a smaller roller it I was ok with tighter curls. I went for the tighter curls and was extremely happy with the outcome. The students and the teachers are all so supportive of one another. Yes it sometimes takes longer that the average salon, but they are students and I find that they take more care. The prices can't be beat either and being on a limited budget, I can now afford to have my hair done more often. I have been there many times now and have been happy with every visit.

I have been to MC many times and have had great experiences until this. I have naturally curly hair…read morebut wanted more volume and curl at my roots. The salon suggested a root perm, explaining that it would blend well with the rest of my hair, especially since some of my ends were damaged. I trusted their advice despite my concerns about mismatched curls. After a long appointment (9 AM to 3:30 PM), I had to leave with wet hair. Once I diffused it at home, I noticed a significant issue: the first 2 inches at my roots were tightly curled, while the remaining 6-7 inches of hair were completely straight. I immediately called the salon to express my concern. They offered 15% off my next appointment but didn't apologize or take accountability. When I asked for potential solutions, they suggested I cut my hair where it goes straight which would leave me with 2 inches of hair --a disappointing response. I understand that results might not always be perfect, but I was deeply unimpressed with their lack of care and willingness to find a satisfactory solution. This experience has left me feeling undervalued as a customer.

The hairdresser was late for my appointment. Therefore, she had less than the allotted time to…read morestyle my short hair. Needless to say, it is a very choppy job. I just wanted a cut, but she insisted she needed to wash my hair after she styled it. Of course I was charged extra $$$ which I was not expecting. She should have mentioned there was a charge, as I had gone in there with clean hair already. When I got home and checked my receipt, there was an extra $3. charge for some "Green" fund that Chatters has to recycle the mere pittance of hair that was taken off my head. I felt like I was rushed in and out of there like they were herding cattle. If I wanted that type of experience, I would have gone to a place that charges 1/3 of what Chatters does. I got worse treatment at Chatters than I would have, had I done that. Truly disappointing and I will not be going back. My biggest regret is that I didn't check the reviews on yelp before I went. And the little girl who answered my initial phone call was rude, as well. Lovely experience. Just lovely. (Chatters Kelowna).
