Great coffee shop for those quick caffeine pit stops. They have both a walk up window and drive thru area. I used the drive-thru and ordered a large iced coffee, because they don't offer cold brew. The iced coffee was very good, but I was missing that cold brew bite. Missing some flavor, but still gave me the much needed boost in the early morning. Besides coffee they also serve juices and smoothies, but no food that I saw. Just a few protein bars to choose from. Avoid those long corporate coffee lines and support this local coffee spot! read more

Holy moly -- Yes, it was a bit out of the way for us. But, I'm SO glad we found Sips! As much as I like it, my wife loves it even more. After visiting the Nashville area for CMAFest and finding a true SnoBall, it has become my wife's mission to have one everywhere we go. Sips was so good, we came on back to back days. My favorite of the two times was the stopped in was the tigers blood. Having that surrounding soft serve with sweet condensed milk on top was heavenly on a 100 degree day. I'm not exactly sure, but their snoball didn't melt as quick as other establishments on cooler days. Our two dogs were also treated with their own pup cup. They also have shaved ice to cool you down in that Summertime heat. Sips is a small stand off of Lebanon Pike so you park in their lot then walk up to their window. They have a few brightly colored seats on their patio area but it seems most people just grab a drink to-go. My go-to (Juice Bar) was closed on a Sunday so Sips came to the rescue. I ordered the Merryberry smoothie and I asked if they could add beets without making it taste offensive, to which they said they could. The taste was great and they made it work. We have gone to Sips for 10+ years for snow cones, as it's by far always been the best in Nashville and really anywhere however, over the past month or so, all of the flavors are suddenly super watered down and not flavorful as they have always been. It's very strange but very disappointing as we've always loved it so much. Maybe they have mixed their concentrate bad this month or something, but now it tastes like cheap flavors you can buy anywhere. Hope it gets fixed soon or we won't be back! read more

The. Best. Smoothie. Place. Ever. AHHHHHHHHH. It's so convenient to get to! My husband and I have tried to figure it out on our own, but we think the owner works there. She is SO fast with her smoothie making skills. She also knows the menu so well, we don't know what's in what even though we get the same thing every single time lol. The last time we were there we got pina colada and PB Yay. Chocolate and peanut butter I think. There should be lines coming out of this place! Not a newbie to this place but my 1st writing a review. I am ashamed of me! I took my family today. I got the Georgia peach w/ strawberry. My husbae got a tigers blood and strawberry. My daughter got tigers blood and my son got grape w/ green apple. My son is 3 and is going through his love for super hero's phrase especially The Hulk. So when I was placing the order with Brad he had remembered me from previously by my favorite hat that says made in the 90's. I ask for the green apple and grape snowball be side by side instead of mixed in and he listened. My son thought it was a Hulk Snowball and was so happy. His smile made my heart melt. Thanks Brad who actually listened. The other staff members were sweet as well. Sorry I didn't get their names. We will definitely be back again! We woke up this morning craving smoothies and the usual places weren't open until 10:00 so I decided to check out Yelp Sips is located down Lebanon Pike by the Zaxbys and Hooters - it is in a free standing small ice cream shack but don't be fooled - they have tons of options from smoothies, to coffees, fresh juices and shaved ices! Perfect for your morning or on a hot day! We ordered two smoothies (Strawberry Apple Banana and Strawberry Banana with peanut butter) and both were so fresh and delicious! They didn't taste artificial or too sugary. Best of all - if you check in on Yelp then you're able to get a $1 off a medium beverage (thanks y'all so much!!). We utilized the drive thru for our order but it looks like your able to walk up to the front window to order too. Our orders were made promptly and service was awesome!! It reminded me of the ice cream place in my hometown growing up that everyone went to in the summer after little league games or the pool Will for sure be back and recommend to everyone!! I feel like this isn't somewhere I'd expect to have a spectacular coffee. I'm so glad I saw this on yelp and gave it a try. I ordered a super sipper latte, which has 3 shots of espresso. I knew I wanted toffee nut, but Brad suggested I pair this with vanilla. Seriously the perfect pair! Blew my mind! The price, also awesome. Flavors don't cost you extra, and I don't believe almond milk does either? It was incredible to me that a triple shot latte only cost $4. Literally a similar drink costs me $6-$7 at other places and don't always taste as good. I plan to make this place a regular stop for a quick pick me up. read more

Brad the owner is super friendly and helpful. I found this spot on yelp, and decided to give it a try since I was 2 miles away and had great 5 star reviews. I'm glad I did! I ordered a modified (dairy free) PB&Yay with Kale and Spinach added. The large was only $6 w the greens added and tax! Healthy, nutritious and great tasting. The atmosphere is not modern, hip, etc. This is a drive through or walk up type spot with a nice (and not fancy) clean patio area. They serve smoothies, coffee, shaved ice, fresh juice and have several small healthy bars. I give it 5 stars because this is middle America Small Business at its finest, not because you'll be wowed by the atmosphere. Brad has a passion for what he's doing and is busting his tail to serve others. The drinks are quality and for sale for what I believe to be an above average value for your money compared to other area juice/smoothie spots. (I would have paid $9 for the add ons I received in my shake elsewhere) If I lived in the area I'd support Brad, his wife and 3 young daughters more! The closer I can get to Florida's Italian ice. I've been knowing about this place for months now but just haven't been around to stop by until yesterday and I'm so glad I did! This location is in the heart of Hermitage. If you been to Hermitage you've probably have driven past without paying any mind to it. Obviously like I have. Pulling into their lot I noticed that the drive thru had two cars and their walk up had a line. I chose the drive thru because I have a little baby in the car. While looking at the menu I saw that they have tons of choices to smoothies, coffees, shaved ice and more with various of sizes. I ordered the cherry and lemon stuffed with raspberry sherbets and oh my goodness it was amazing!! The flavors were sweet at first but I did not mind at all! I can honestly say this is the closet to my Florida Italian ice! I went today as well and tried the black cherry and lemon and I think I may have a problem already, a good problem lol. We have been looking for the real shaved snow cones since we found Summer Snow In Tuscaloosa, Alabama. We finally found the best real shaved ice snow cone yesterday. The pina colada with cream was as good as my favorite in Alabama or better. I drove from Franklin to sample their cones and it was worth the trip. I've tried a couple of their fresh juices and they don't get any fresher than this! You get copious amount of fruits and veggies depending on what you order. The equivalent to a medium (2nd size) has several! Not to mention, they taste great! I'm sure if you made a special request they'd honor but I haven't confirmed this.
