Spirts, wine, and beer shop located in the heart of oldtown/ downtown Benicia. The shopping experience here, at least in the middle of a weekday, is very chill. The service is great and space is really clean and organized. The selection here is pretty insane with some of the more rare bottles of spirits unsurprisingly with a higher price tag. Even if you're not looking for that really rare bottle of whiskey, there's a pretty high chance that they have what you're looking for including some interesting barrel picks. read more

Sips has everything you can possible want to drink. We were looking at Eagle Rare and Joe walked up and asked us if we needed help. He was very knowledgeable on all items we asked about. Super helpful and the store is very clean. Very bright and well organized- not like most stores that sell alcohol. The place is classy. They have some great other items like dip and dots, candy, and non alcoholic beverages. Prices are pricey, but if you're looking for something I am pretty sure they have it! read more

SIPS - Top shelf items. - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Benicia, California

What a great store! It has something for everyone! We walked by with our kid and popped it to check out their candies and adult beverages. Near the front door, you walk by an ice cream fridge with cold bottles of alcohol. You get that same feeling as when you were a kid walking into a had station for ice cream but it was treats for adults. The shelves are stocked with a beautiful display of wines, spirits, and mixers. I liked their wine room with the water art display. The staff seemed friendly, but as we were paying, one staff member had his feathers ruffled by a customer so he made a very loud scene picking up a box of bottles. The staff just all looked at one another and didn't say anything to us. It was an awkward situation. read more

SIPS - KV with a special bottle. He has more. Worth the trip to get one. Yummy and special. - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Benicia, California

I was in the neighborhood and needed a Syrup and knew that this specialized Spirit store was nearby. I had recently replenished my Bourbon and Tequla stock, but this place looks like the proper place to find any libation spirits you might need to re stock your supply, as a libation fan or Mixologist. I only wound up buying an Alchemist Blood Orange syrup but will go back when I need to restock. I did notice they had some nostalgic candy like Big League chew and some Hello Kitty candy. read more

Liquor store located in Benicia that serves all varieties of alcohol and even tons of candy and items for parties that you can't find in regular liquor stores. They also have had a number of celebrities showcase their alcohol like 50 cent and Steph Curry! Located right down first street there's a small parking lot and some street parking. Looks like a busy spot and the workers are friendly. The store is huge! read more

Loved coming here. In the front of the store theres a variety of theater candy boxes and non alcoholic drinks! As for the variety of alcohol, I think the images I provided speaks for themselves. The workers were really helpful and kind. This is right on Benicia first street, and though I've always gone to Benicia, I've always missed SIPS so I'm glad I decided to give it a go. Will definitely be coming back!! read more

AJ was awsome! Love this place. Can find hard to find. Can get great recommendations for your taste! Worth a trip if you are not local!

This is such a very pretty upscale liquor store. Came here to get a few things. I felt lost and had no clue where to even begin to look for the things I needed. I approached Robin and he was so kind to say 'I can help you find these' and he did. That kind of help is rare these days and I appreciated his help so much - he saved me so much time. A great store, it made me happy being in there - it's very bright, very clean, so many neat things to see and decorated so pretty. The back room is a small room full of wonderful wines and a lovely fountain. Just wow! Thank you again for your help, Robin. read more

For those who love liquor but are looking to class it up a bit than the regular corner liquor store... Try out Sips in Benicia. Located off the 1st street, this place provides a family friendly...but mostly over 21 vibe for your choice of snacks and sips with a good variety to choose. The guys who run the place seem to be knowledgable and helpful in order to help you find what you need and want. I got a couple of gifts for later projects but I will be coming back to support... Ciao for now! read more

SIPS - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Benicia, California

Sips is incredible ! Prices are amazing, staff is helpful and their stock of wine, beer, liquor is vast. Not to mention their wide variety of snacks, candy and other party favors is fun to shop for. I'm a beer and bourbon guy. At Raleys in Benicia I'm paying 26-30 dollars for a 5th of buffalo trace bourbon. They have it at reasonable $19.99. Price mind you that hasn't changed since they've opened. Much of their prices are far below any store around. I could not recommend this place enough. read more

This place opened earlier this year and have had celebrities come in and promote their liquor ! I missed those, but finally got to make it in there. Their selection is incredible! Not only alcohol, but snacks and candy!!! The perfect place to put together a great gift basket of goodies! The family that owns it and works there are very friendly and knowledgeable. read more

This is such a beautiful shop! I'm very glad they relocated to 1st Street where there's more foot traffic/potential business. Previously I had seen signs when they were located down a side street also in Benicia but never went in. It's very bright and tidy. The selection is huge! There's so much that I've never seen before. Definitely a bigger and better selection than BevMo, World Market, or Total Wine when it comes to spirits. They also have soda and snacks! We ended up getting two kinds of soju which I've never seen in any of the Asian markets before. Next time I'll consider getting Filipino ube rum or maybe more soju. The guy working at the counter was very helpful too! We had our hands full and he helped hold onto what we had until we were ready to check out. I highly recommend checking out SIPS even if you aren't a big drinker. It's the perfect place to find a gift. I think you're likely to find something for anyone here. read more

Be sure to visit this store when on 1st. You can catch a tasting while you're at it. But I love to walk around to see all the fancy beverages. There is something for everyone. They have a nice section of unique or rare candy and snacks. Also a great place to find stocking stuffers! read more

Clean, well-lit, and very well organized bottle shop with an exceptional selection especially hard to find bourbon. Friendly service, for sure. Stopped in for a bottle of 1792 Sweet Wheat that I was hunting for a while. I was fine paying slightly above msrp for it, but for other more highly allocated stuff, be prepared to pay a premium. Nice craft beer selection as well. If you're a connoisseur of fine whiskeys or beer, do yourself a favor and check this place out. read more

Sips in Bencia goes beyond what you expect from a local liquor store. This is not just the run of a mill corner shop. Bright lights and shelves of alcohol welcome you. An old-timey car sits in the middle. A waterfall in the wine boutique adds another level of the quality of the store. If you want to practice your golf swings, go to the back and try their golf simulation. As for the alcohol, I'm not going to name every libation they carry. My photos are only a fraction of what they carry. What I look forward to trying is their tasting: wine, tequila, bourbon, etc. Check out the calendar. read more

GOTTA STAY WARM ONE WAY OR ANOTHER Just left the States Cafe House and strolled down the street to run into nice white vibrant building with a very open feeling to it. We stepped inside to find Vino, Tequilas, CHELAS, and Congnacs Y MAS all along those walls. Almost felt like you were a kid running into KB TOYS(old Fairfield) for the first time. So speaking to the Owners, they used to have a small spot in one of the alleys in Benicia, and finally expanded into a big brick and mortar!!!! Congrats. They have shelves lined with Exotic Bottles ranging from everywhere, it is a place you need to take time to explore. Candies little knick-knacks and drinking games are available too. I'll have to go back for the Cantarito for sure as well. Great selections of gins and bourbons, Cigars, and wine room. Have to go back and waste some time there read more

SIP SIP HOORAY! Benicia has a hot and new liquor store with SOOOO MUCH variety! Wine, sake, whiskey, tequila, gin, champagne, etc. etc. They even have fun snacks and goodies! This is definitely a spot for your future kick backs, parties, whatever celebration you have! I was in awe to see the variety -- especially seeing bottles of alcohol from around the world. Yes around the world! I found a bottle I remember seeing from Japan, from the Philippines, Germany. If you've been to EPCOT and drank around the world, best believe SIPS probably has what you had at EPCOT! Their wine vault is great; with a nice variety of whites and reds. They also sell local wines like Caymus from Suisun Valley. I could spend a good amount just waking through the shore looking at the selection! When you first enter, you can help but notice their massive wall of hard liquor! It's a nice sight lol Definitely check them out! I walked out of there with two bottles of Ube Liquor; which was something I've been eyeing!! read more

Excellent shop! They carry the best selection of beer and spirits in town, probably in the county. I've made (probably too) many beer suggestions/requests and they've done a fine job stocking them for me, especially solid CA beer like Alvarado, Cellarmaker, Humble Sea, Russian River, Ghost Town, Laughing Monk and many more. Also an excellent spot for gifts and they have a massive selection of snacks and candy. read more
