this stuff is amazing! daniel was right, the prickly pear lip balm smells so freakin good & feels great on my lips. there's nothing else like this, i'm addicted. i was also given a free mini bar of soap, i picked out the sage cleansing bar. i honestly regret not getting more, i wish i would've got more prickly pear lip balms and a full size of the sage cleansing bar. the soap smells so earthy and fresh and exfoliates so nicely. will be back to buy more soon. the lady at the shop was so wonderful explaining what some ingredients did in some body butters, lotions, etc. super helpful read more

Updating this review to give it a 4 star. A couple days after leaving the first review, the owner emailed me to let me know that she had made a couple of attempts to make the special soap order I had requested but it wasn't turning out. She apologized for it taking so long and offered to refund me the money AND to let me pick out three bars of my choosing for free. I told her that was not necessary and I would be happy to pick the bars out and pay for them at a discounted price and she could refund me the difference. She agreed and thanked me for being so understanding (as I had apologized for the trouble she was having making the order). I do love this shop and all it has to offer. The reason I didn't update it to 5 stars is that there needed to be some communication earlier on. That said, I'm happy she made it right and I will continue shopping there. read more

Walking in your welcomed by the amazing smells of all the lovely soaps, and the lovely Proprietor herself. She is very knowledgable and so helpful! Come here to get your supply of fantastic natural bar soaps, and other herbal remedies!! I had the honor of watching the proprietor make a batch of her Supersonic Espresso Soap. The smell was heavenly. With each stir a tantalizing chocolate smell permeated the shop. I took home a bar of the espresso soap, the chai tea and the honey for my husband. The scenery just enroute to the location is simply gorgeous with Superstition Mountains in the background. This store, this bussiness, this Apothecary is definitely a must stop when visiting Goldfield Ghost Town! It is a visit for the entire family as this town has attractions that include a train tour, minning tour, zip line ride, coffee shop (yeesss), ice cream parlor, reptile exhibit and on and on. The owner (Collen) herself makes the majority of products who's wisdom on skin/health care is so vast that many of our physicians have forgotten the use of natural remedies that benefit us without side effects. About a year ago I started trying to use more natural beauty products after discovering how many harmful chemicals are put into cosmetic and beauty products. It's been a process finding actual safe products that still smell great and are effective. I stumbled into this shop while visiting goldfield ghost town. They are amazing! Every thing is safe natural and smells like it came from the heavens. My favorite products are the sage bar soap, the prickly pear lip balm, and the orange or lavender body butter. However everything I've got there has been amazing! The staff is so friendly and wrapped everything up so pretty. This may be the most amazing spot I've been to in Arizona!! The owner, Colleen, is more knowledgeable than most MD's and is so patient and thorough with each and every customer who enters the store.
