We recently hired this cleaning company after searching for over a month to find the right fit for…read moreour home in the Desert Mountain community. Unfortunately, after two visits, our experience was extremely disappointing.
During the initial walkthrough and quote, I explained that we had just moved into a new home, were still unpacking, and had our first baby. As a breastfeeding mother navigating postpartum life, I was specifically looking for reliable household support and attention to detail. During the walkthrough, several comments were made about the state of the home being "overwhelming," which already made the experience feel uncomfortable and judgmental rather than supportive.
On the first cleaning visit, two women arrived. One appeared to be supervising while the other completed most of the cleaning. Unfortunately, the cleaning itself was far below expectations. Floors were left with crumbs and debris, surfaces still had dust, dishes placed out to dry were still dirty, and the mopping appeared rushed and ineffective. Bathroom trash cans were lined with oversized kitchen trash bags, which looked careless and unprofessional. Overall, there was very little attention to detail, and I found myself needing to re-clean areas afterward.
I reached out professionally afterward with feedback and specific requests for improvement. I was told it sometimes takes a few visits for cleaners to learn a home, which I understood and was willing to work with.
However, during the second visit, things became even more unprofessional. The cleaner appeared visibly irritated throughout the appointment. I was having an emotional postpartum morning and stepped away to nurse my baby in another room. When I came back out, the cleaners had completely left the house without notifying me whatsoever. No message, no conversation, no explanation.
When I contacted Lia to ask what happened, I was told one of the cleaners felt "uncomfortable." Rather than addressing concerns professionally or communicating directly, they chose to walk out mid-job without notice, leaving me with an unfinished house and additional stress during an already difficult postpartum period.
This is the first negative review I have ever written, but I feel it's important to share my experience honestly. For a company advertising luxury-level cleaning services in high-end homes within the Desert Mountain community, I expected professionalism, communication, reliability, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
