I have been doing PT on a ruptured Achilles and all that comes with it for about a month, which results in me doing leg day effectively 4-5 times a week. The work has been good for my muscles and correcting issues, but it's also a lot and my hips, thighs and feet needed some work. She leveraged multiple different types of massage modalities and helped me ID what was in need of more work. AND, while asking me to detail the situation to work on, she didn't count that in the massage time giving me the full 60 minutes in addition to the time we spent talking about the needs. I feel MUCH better and am still taking in as much water as I can to flush my system of the crap she released with the work. I regret not living here (from AZ) as I would see her more often, but I am sending my daughter to her instead. Heartily recommend, especially if you have real areas that need work. The clinic was only 20 minutes away by foot from my house, so I got in some steps and walked. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and walked in to find a little waiting room/reception with a couch and chair. Not much in the way of decor, but this clinic just opened, so that isn't a surprise. Shortly after I arrived my masseuse, Sue, walked in and introduced herself and led me to the massage table. The massage room was comfortably arranged with the table in the center with an overstuffed chair on one side and a side table with the music speaker, hot towel machine, and accents. I regret I didn't strike up a conversation with Sue to find out how long she had been working as a masseuse or anything else about her work history, but I still had an enjoyable and relaxing massage. The way Dr. Jang evaluates my body and pain is truly unbelievable. He carefully goes over each part of the body--bones, muscles, and areas of tension--to find the root cause of the pain. I asked about it because it felt different from other chiropractic clinics, where they usually just do adjustments (which are still good). Dr. Jang uses a special technique called ART and treats my pain very gently. He explained that the muscles and pain points need to be properly evaluated first before doing any strong adjustments, which made a lot of sense to me. After several treatments, I felt a huge difference in my neck, shoulders, and back--as if the pain was being healed from the core. It's a very gentle but precise approach for deep muscle pain. I can tell that he really monitors my pain points and provides treatment based on my condition and progress, which makes the treatments even more effective. And the massage therapy afterward is truly amazing. I've dealt with pain from past car accidents, so I know how important it is to find good care--that's why I appreciate Eden Clinic so much. Fun fact: they have really advanced X-ray equipment and tools. Dr. Jang even discovered that my right leg is slightly shorter than my left, which may have caused me to lean a bit when standing.
