We were a skeptical already but after looking at his business card, Manager was spelled, M-A-N-G-E-R. Very professional. We set up an appointment for 2 days later and, behold, NO SHOW. I would be very cautious doing business with this company.

Bottom line, Swagg completed ALMOST all of the work, but my job has gone unfinished. Last June, in good faith, I paid them 1/3 of the bill for the rest of the work they had yet to complete. This includes repairing the damage done to my siding during the re-roofing process. It also includes replacing the rest of the downspouts insurance didn't cover, so everything would match. They have called a handful of times to collect the balance, and I keep asking them to finish the job, including all details as promised. To placate me, they finally sent a local gutter company over yesterday. What a waste of time. Here for less than 5 minutes and not knowing the details or history, and no desire or effort to learn, he declined the job. Here for less than 5 minutes, he didn't even care to see the whole house. I felt like he came over to report back to Swagg that there is no more to do here. He then disparaged me to the Swagg employee who pretends to help me, who then agreed with the characterization given by the sub. It is more of a collaboration between the men in order to diminish me, which gives them the right to dump me as a customer and insist the job is done. What a joke, what a racket...Swagg cashed in on the insurance, never fixed the damage made BY THEM, and still won't live up to their promises, then further offending me. I want my job done as promised; not to be relieved of what I owe them.

The two estimators were two females about mid 20s. They wrote an estimate and sign their name and personal phone number in case I had any questions they then left I didn't get a chance to read the estimate until the next day. In reading it it made no sense they scribbled so much that I couldn't understand what it was they were quoting or what item they were talking about. I called their personal cell phone numbers and the first one what's wrong number the second number I got to answer but it was a person that was slamming me about something wanting to get together with her?? Her answer came back to me via my phone? I then called the main office and was told they moved to another location in Billings I went to that location and that business next to him said that they had moved to a third location? All within about 3 months so of course I'm starting to become suspicious as to what kind of Fly by Night business this is going on.? I made an appointment a week after I called the main number which apparently is a central zone to send out numerous contractors the contact potential customers. I asked the lady if she knew who the two ladies that came to my house were and she said yes could not give me their phone number because it was against the rules and I told her that I already had the phone number that were no good but I would like to have them both notified to meet me at my house 5 days. She stated she would give the message to those two appraisers. On the day that they were supposed to come a lady that I never recognized came to the door and stated something about wanting an appraisal? I advised her that I already had an appraisal and that the date that she is come to my house was the same date the two appraisers were supposed to come. She said one was out of town and the other one was somewhere doing an appraisal but she didn't know where? You could tell she was trying to hold back telling me the truth about those two ladies. She wanted me to explain to her what it was I wanted to talk to the two appraisers about and I told her that I would speak with only the two appraisers that came to my house a week earlier. She did some texting on her phone while she was at my house and she says it sounds like one of the appraisers that's out of town will be here to meet with you. She stated that that appraiser was coming from Columbus Montana which is about a 25 minute drive either way to Billings or Columbus. I finally told her after about an hour I had to go and so I escorted her to the door. I then went to the garage to get my car and started the back out of the driveway when a second unknown lady in a different car come running up to me as I was backing up saying she needed to talk to me about that appraisal the two girls gave me I told her I was leaving I waited an hour for two appraisers who were told last week that they were to meet with me but they didn't do it instead I got two Unknown People come to my house want to know what I needed to talk to the appraisers about?? I told that second lady I'm leaving I got a place that I have to be at and as I was backing up she was walking beside my car talking and asked me to stop my car and talk to her I told her I'm done talking after an hour of waiting for the two appraisers I think something funny was going on with this situation don't know what? I will say this to any person that is potentially thinking of hiring this company I would definitely recommend you do not call them. This has got to be a fly by night company the way they're moving from building to building not wanting me to talk to the appraisers sending me two Unknown People out wanting me to tell him everything about my appraisal that I got etc etc their actions were so suspicious I knew they were not reputable. Once again if you're thinking about going to that business for remodeling I would highly recommend that you do not go and walk away from that business. In fact don't walk..RUN from it

On a Saturday in May of this year, Billings, MT received a substantial hail storm that pounded my house and devastated our lush landscaping. The next morning after church, my family and I were in the yard picking up debris, mending damaged foliage, and trying to assess the damage. We were all in funk due to the trauma of having so much damage to our home. Along came Dustin Swaggerty, an employee of yours, who I deemed a 'Storm Chaser' the first time I met him. It didn't take long for me to appreciate this young man and consider trying to steal him away from Aspen for my own business. So here we are on a Sunday in May, and Dustin is up on my roof the day after the storm. He noticed a damaged skylight that would then be a place for water to enter my home and cause further damage should it rain. By mid-afternoon of that very day, my skylight was waterproofed with a tarp thanks to Dustin. It remained so until the new custom skylight could be manufactured and installed roughly two months later. It rained many times during that period, yet it never leaked. Due to the issues with locating my skylight then having it custom built, it took a while for Aspen to actually fix my roof. During this period, Dustin would call, text and email as to the status of the replacement skylight so I never had to ask or wonder about the status of my roof being completed. Dustin also worked directly with my insurance company and brought to their attention numerous items they had missed, as well the need for a more expensive skylight than they had figured. Money was deposited into my account and I received emails from Dustin explaining why even before my insurance company gave me a heads up. Outstanding! Once work began on my home, the crew was in and out in less than two days. On top of that, they were friendly & polite, without a single word of bad language. They cleaned up so well before they left, you wouldn't know they were even there. Your service, workmanship, and employees are exemplary and I wanted to express my gratitude for making a devastating situation so much better. You can't have great employees without great leadership. Kudos to the folks in charge at Aspen Roofing.
