Every time we come do our taxes; from the moment we walk in, the entire experience feels welcoming and stress-free. We had our appointment with Andres, and he was incredible--professional, patient, and genuinely invested in helping us understand our financial situation. What really stood out was that we didn't just leave with our taxes completed--we also received valuable financial planning guidance that gave us clarity and direction for the future. Andres made something that usually feels overwhelming actually feel empowering. This is one of the reasons we always come back, and we highly recommend 1st Choice Tax to anyone looking for trustworthy, knowledgeable, and friendly service.

He accepted our case and never made my wife and I feel as if were were being rushed. I always felt like I was a top priority for him and his communication was amazing-unlike other tax preparers I've used in the past. As far as his actual work, SIX out of five stars! He found deductions that our previous tax preparer did not even mention to us. (our previous tax man was more of a tax resolution expert, but I sometimes felt like he rushed through preparing our taxes) Edward even took the time to explain every deduction he applied for, as well as walking my wife and I through our entire tax document before e-filing for us. EDWARD is the man! I say this with zero hesitation. Next week, I'm even setting up a meeting with him to discuss how I can better prepare for tax time in the future. Thank you, Edward. Because of our neglect and inattention to accounting in the company while it was very small and just developing - when our sales grew significantly, we found ourselves completely unprepared in terms of tax optimization, identifying and mitigating risks due to my negligence and lack of knowledge in accounting. Fernando helped us identify complexities, set up the system, choose the best form for the business, formalize the transition, set up payroll properly, collect the right forms from contractors, file information that we should have filed but didn't know about. He was not only professional and attentive to our needs - he was also extremely friendly and gave us in passing a lot of education in tax matters for free. We recommend him to all of our friends and acquaintances now - he is an amazing professional and wonderful person. He also has a great team - always attentive, do not forget anything, work proactively to prevent risks.

I've been coming to A&A Accounting for a couple of years. Unfortunately, I didn't come to this…read morelocation because I found it on a Yelp search. Prior to A&A coming into my life, I was a loyal client to A1 Accounting. Sadly, the owner passed away and the business was sold. I panicked for a bit but A&A picked up their old clients. Also, Silvia, who did my taxes at A1 also moved to this location. So basically, I was going to continue working with the same tax preparer as before. My previous tax documents also transferred over to this location. This made the transition very smooth for me. A&A Accounting is located in the city of Downey. They are situated on the corner of Rives and Firestone Blvd. You'll find it tucked in the corner of a small two story shopping center. The parking lot is small so it might be easier to just park at Stater Brothers Market next door. They have plenty of parking and it's easier to enter and exit the lot. Anyway, as stated before, I came here due to the passing of my previous tax preparer. So I've been working with Silvia for years and wouldn't go to anyone else. We've established a good rapport and she always asks the right questions to make sure that I'm not forgetting to claim anything. We talk about the new tax laws and how that affects my current situation. She has a wealth of knowledge and I'm grateful to still have her as my tax preparer. There are several people in the office that will prepare your taxes for you. I prefer to work with Silvia because she is meticulous about her work. My mom works with Hrant but I don't know much about him. However, she says that she's great and appreciates what he does for her. I come to A&A Accounting because they always take care of their clients. They are very helpful and will always give you the best advice. I live 40 miles away from this place but I continue to come back to get my taxes done at this location. Their tax preparation fees and quality of service can't be beat!
