Stay away at all costs. This is the sleeziest, laziest, scummiest law firm in LA, maybe the entire country. In over one year, my "case manager" changed 4 times. I was never notified, never contacted, never made aware. My emails and calls would go ignored for weeks at a time unless I physically walked into their office demanding answers. I would always get the run around regarding my case and why my new case manager didn't contact me or why I was never contacted about the change at all. I finished medical treatments and wanted to pursue my settlement. The case managers kept pressuring me into continuing more invasive medical treatments although I profusely refused over and over again. I guess they weren't happy with that because they made no effort to counter or negotiate with the opposing party's insurance to settle at a fair amount. Finally after the last time of being ghosted for almost a month, I found a new law firm and immediately switched. My new law firm settled in a month. And they also informed me Sedaghat is one of the only firms charging 38% fees while the rest charge no more than 35% while the customary charge is 33%. What a joke. They are very slow, the attorney I had always say he's going to call back which means in 2 months every time. GOD won the case . I did not get anything from the case my care is still damaged from the accident, my radiator and other damages under the hood needs repairing. WORST LAW FIRM EVER!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I was hit by a commercial truck while I was walking across the street legally in the cross walk when it was my turn to walk. This place dropped me after I asked them to furnish me with all of the work they had done up to the point of my request. After they dropped me and I received what they sent, I saw that they did not even attempt to contact the insurance company of the truck that hit me. All they did was hit up the driver's personal insurance who denied it because he was in a company vehicle working at the time. This dude ran a red arrow light and hit me 5-10 seconds after the light turned red! How the hell do I not have any compensation?! Bunch of crooks and scammers here! This law firm is very bad with communication. They do not get back to you for weeks, even months at a time. I would call and leave countless messages, texts and voicemails only to be ignored. They have done nothing for my case and left me hanging. I was dropped, and they stated they will place a lien on my case, despite them not representing me anymore. It was so stressful to try and even get ahold of anyone or get any answers. They have done absolutely nothing but waste my time. As I sit here in the middle of the night in pain. I can't help but remember how bad of a job this law firm did with me and how I suffer because of it. To say they do the absolute minimum of taking care of their clients is an understatement. Half of these reviews are faker than the promises they make you. I have a disc bulge in my neck, torn rotator cuffs, disc bulge in my lower back, thoracic pain, etc. all getting worse because of these selfish lawyers here at Sedegaht My 1st case manager would lie ALL THE TIME FOR NO REASON! I would ask her to call me back and I always had to call them. Then she doesn't respond for months and I have no clue why. As Im finishing "Chiro" thats when they tell me "she been fir... she doesn't work here anymore" FOR MONTHS THEY COULD HAVE TOLD ME THIS!!!! Instead they said nothing! Then they gave me another bad case manager named Natalie Natalie, or however you spell it, cares about nobody but herself. I was trying to understand whats going on with my case and I wasn't even mad with her. She instantly gets an attitude with me on the phone and tries to shift the blame. I have no idea why she was so upset, or what was going on but Im guessing she didn't want to take accountability of not letting me know for months that I was assigned a new case manager. And that it was her! I went to Ms. Sedaghat herself in email to let her know whats going on and she gave me the fakest apology and said she'd send her assistant lawyer Alina to message me info about my case. Alina is the fakest person in the office she will try to trick you into saying things that will give them ammunition to drop your case. Be careful if you ever have to talk to her. She is actually very evil and don't take that lightly. Alina is just as unprofessional and unorganized as the rest of the office. My new case manager Natalie told me they can't afford the treatment I needed and that they would just close the case out and try to get me whatever which lead up to me messaging Sedaght herself. Then when alina calls me she tries to tell me the same thing. Then as soon as I say Im not sure if you guys have my best interests, she calls me back and now they "barely got the video evidence" (the video evidence was available way before they said it was). Alina tells me "oh looks like its your fault actually" A guy comes in from the wrong side lane BEHIND ME while I try to turn left and park and it's my fault. Visualize that in your head people. How is it my fault when that car behind me goes into the oncoming traffic lane and tried to pass in front of me randomly? All I was doing was turning into a driveway! Another example of terrible lawyers and even worse people. The dev... I mean alina immediately shifts the blame on me when she knows I did nothing wrong. Her and Lillian Sedegaht planned that very quick so they don't have to take accountability for months of neglecting a client. They should actually be taken to court! I thought an all woman law firm would fight for me better than any other law group would but they are the type of people that make certain stereotypes believable. Very low level law firm and you should not bring your case here! They charge 38-50% for a retainer fee which is not the standard 33% nearly all firms charge. I was told some crazy lie that firms do charge that much after one month which is also not true. This is a very money hungry firm who will not actually care about you and only want your money. Honestly I'm extremely disappointed with this firm. They lack communication. I called, emailed and texted and didn't get an answer in over a year and when they did call they did so to let me know they no longer wanted to represent me. A complete waste of time and now they expect for me to put all of the doctors visits that THEY scheduled for me and would call to make sure I went on my insurance or pay out of pocket. Where am I supposed to get that money from? I feel as though I've been scammed and cannot in good conscious recommend them to anybody else. Lack of communication from a firm this big is embarrassing.
