It took Matt and a crew member a single weekend to replace the engine in a ford F550. He was able to accomplish this with no sweat. Needles to say all of us go to him with any auto issues from brakes to entire tuneups. My father's truck hasn't been running well at all, barely getting up the hill so I went straight to Paradise. End result: I have a brand new running Nissan Frontier with 100,000 miles on it. Puurs like a kitten and I am so stoked to have a reliable honest mechanic to go to. Much mahalos Paradise Auto!

However the person on the phone needed to know how I handled my insurance claim. When I visited Midas they said they wouldn't pass my dad's jeep for safety check, so of course, I was panicking because the dmv closes early and I had to drop the car off in Hilo next day. We drive over to Island Performance and explained the situation and Rocky took care of us on extremely short notice and fixed what needed to be changed and EVEN did the safety check. If it wasn't for him and the team I would have had to make another trip out and reschedule the shipment. My dad would take his jeep to this shop and also recommended it to his friends. Sadly my dad passed in November but these guys remembered him when we came in and even kept the model plane my dad gifted them. I cannot praise them enough. Thank you guys for all you do! I would recommend this shop

I have the unfortunate burden of informing the public that these guys are Crooks…read more We needed the shocks rebuilt for our truck and when my 81 year father brought it to Jeff, he was talked into ordering new shocks for $4500.00 ! Then Jeff strung him along for over 9 months with many excuses as to why the shocks had not arrived, then parts were missing or on back-order, etc. I finally went to pick up the truck and asked Jeff to just put the shocks we had purchased into the trunk as I was not going to take any more excuses and go elsewhere. First, he claimed the shocks were in trunk (which was empty) and tried to tell me someone must have taken them. Then he came out and tried to give me a 5 year old set of used, scratched up shocks. Then he finally said he does not have them! Jeff has made no attempt to refund the money or make good in any way on these criminal acts. If you are planning on doing business with these guys, I hope you have read this and run to a different option...
