Sad to say but the ev charger here is a rip off. I was excited find a hidden gem / chademo charger. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience and got charged gas price for electricity. Have lived in southern California for basically all my life, have an awful experience at this place. First I was in line behind a person, a rude lady then walks in scoffing at me. I can feel her breath down my ears, she then begins to bark racial remarks at me. With all the patience in the world, the person in front of me finishes paying. Finally it's my turn to pay for my gas, this old cashier clerk Indian guy (nerd) notices the rude lady behind me. Now instead of telling the broad to calm down, he begins to do the same. I'm not sure if he's the owner or just an employee but this guy short changes me EVERYTIME!! And he does it so casually and smoothly. I started thinking about this more and even if he just short changes me $0.50 but does that to every customer. A devastating ratting noise followed by a chunk of metal giving away with a clinking somewhere around the engine and the power steering gives out. I'm just able to wrangle to car safely to the side of the road on Del Mar. I call roadside and have no idea where I'm going to take my car as I'm in unfamiliar territory. Then my kidlet then drops the news of needing to use a restroom, ok scan the landscape, there's a gas station, gas station has a repair shop to the side! Kidlet uses restroom, and head around the corner in the repair space. Where we speak with Al, who is an absolutely sweet guy with a sense of urgency and customer care! He immediately grabs the keys runs across the street and brings Blue Turtle (I indeed name my cars) over, where he Eddie and the team take a look. In less than a min they diagnose the problem, pulley on (9 month old ) water pump busted. Dafuq? It's going back to the shop that replaced it, which is super disappointing and all the way in Culver City! However, all of this is offset by the care and professionalism that I received by Al and Eddie! Those two made the day a bit brighter! read more

Should not matter if you carry '76 gas station' title!!! do NOT recommend going there, since apparently, it is not 100% certain if they actually use 76 gasoline in their pumps! *Revisited--- Went back to this business today 8/17/18, and I have to say, it has a Brand New look, after MAJOR 'makeover'. There are bright lights and the prices are RIGHT! I am pretty impressed how the owner was willing to make changes and improvements! I am also called Ramu for convenience as my name is long and difficult to pronounce. I worked at this store as a part time employee for about 2 years till I got diagnosed with cancer. I have been treated with radiation and chemo therapy. The treatment is painful and I was often depressed. I live alone and have no relatives here. I am still in treatment unable to eat solid food and using pain killers. Most of my feeding is through a tube in my stomach. The father and sons management team constantly kept in touch with me till now and keep my spirits up. I thank them for the same. read more

Bad service. The workers are douche bags. I came here for a bottled water before I head into work. The guy wouldn't let me charge onto my debt card since it wasn't enough limit. This place is awesome. Plenty of everything you need plus gas when you get low. Ramil is the manager, and he is always in there grinding. You can also get your car worked on there, although I have never had that service. The mini mart is well stocked and I always know I'm going to get good customer service with a smile. Updating my review, the owner sent me a message with kind words, and I haven't interacted w/ that same guy I complained about in awhile. I don't even remember what he looks like, but at least i'm no longer leaving the gas station upset. My previous review and this one are vastly different in ratings, but it just goes to show the range of how extreme my experience was. Stopped at this gas station near Del Mar Avenue. Ramu was the clerk, and he was very friendly. My husband forgot his wallet on the counter and half an hour came back for it. Ramu had it there waiting for him to pick up. Having to replace lost cards and identification is a nightmare. So thankful for Ramu and the staff at 76 for keeping my husband's wallet safe. read more

Used to go to this gas station all the time since it's close to my house. The price is usually higher than at other stations and the window cleaning stations are not well maintained AT ALL. And one time, this older Middle Eastern looking fella came out and started bitching about me cleaning my car window, AFTER I FILLED UP MY GAS TANK.
