Once it dried, I noticed top layer is so much shorter than the rest of the layers. I look like I have a damn bowl cut with a rat tail.

Don't come here if you have curly hair. The lady totally botched my haircut. Which she would have probably noticed if she had taken the time to dry and style it. I left thinking she might have cut way more than we had agreed on. But I figured it would be okay. As it was drying I noticed the top layer was so awkwardly shorter than the other layers. It looks so damn ugly curly, and that's how I wear it most the time. Now my only option is to probably go with a bob. :( Stylist should be honest if they don't have experience with curly hair. Instead of just ruining our look for months and taking our money. On the pictures my hair looks so messy as it naturally dried. You would think you'd leave a salon feeling cute and all. It didn't happen for me here as you can tell. Word of advice, take the time to dry and style it so you can really see the results. Don't just brush away, hiding mistakes with wet hair.

My hair with curled tips (after i laid on it, lol didnt take a poc right away)... very happy with the result

I tried Sinaloa Salon today after reading reviews. The lady I normally went to got hurt and I had to look for a new place. I had first called in 2 says prior to today and spoke w Erica in the phone. She was very nice and was able to book me Saturday at 930 am ad I had requested. On Saturday (today) they took me in right away and my hairstylist was Vianney. She was very professional, friendly, and fast. I really appreciated that. She was very honest with the length of hair she needed to cut (2 inches) and was careful not to get hair dye on my skin (I dyed my roots black). I am also glad the salon is close by. I used to travel to Riverside, but it's great to have a local spot. Vianney worked quickly but efficiently, and effectively. She just seemed so comfortable and confident with her hands and I liked this, it made me feel confident as well. She used a treatment on me as well which did not take too long. Then she intuitively asked if I wanted my hair straightened with curled ends (which is my usual go-to) and I said yes! She dyed, washed, and styled my hair in 1 hour and a half. I really appreciate this because most will take 2 hours+. The vibe of the salon is really friendly, good local community-ish, and professional. Price-wise, I thought it was fair. Since I only dyed my roots I was expecting not to pay too much, but considering how satifistied I was, I think it was fair. Overall, yes I do recommend this place. Vianneu was great and I will be back to see her.

My first time here and I love how my hair turned out! Customer service was amazing, definitely coming again.

Reyna did a great job coloring my hair!

If you are local to the area, these ladies are quick to help and did a good job giving some life to my hair. I was able to walk in during the weekday to get a free consult. I made an appointment for Saturday morning and come Saturday, they were ready for me! The weekend definitely seemed busier but if you have an appointment they respected your time and prioritize you. I was fortunate to have Reyna work on me. The women are polite and it's fun listening to the conversations they have with each other and the clients. Very welcoming shop, and just about what you can expect from local hairdressers. The shop is cash only and their prices are reasonable. I was happy to leave extra tip for them! Parking is a bit on the small side as it's shared with other businesses, but you should be able to snag a spot. They do great work on both men and women, and I saw a young teenager walk out with a cut too. They use quality hair shampoo, conditioner, and color that didn't leave my hair feeling or smelling like chemicals. After a couple of washes, my hair is still holding it's color more than a week later. I will definitely return to get my hair done here again. Thank you Reyna!

I made an appointment for hair and makeup for my brother's wedding three month's in advance. Because the wedding starts at 10:00 am and is at least 40 minutes drive, my mom and I thought we should be done by 8:00 am, so we can he home by 8:15, finished getting dressed and then leave by 9. The salon opened at 6 am for us and they had two ladies to do your hair and one to do your make-up. There were three of us (3 hair and 2 makeup). They were very professional and followed the pictures we showed them for inspiration. We had lots of compliments on our hair and makeup and the price we paid was very reasonable.

Came here last saturday and didnt regret it! All the staff is super friendly. Viannea did my hair and i absolutely love it! I wanted my hair dyed black with some peek a boo highlights. She did a great job. i was there for a couple hours (normal) so i got to see quite a bit of thier customers come in. The gentlemen ( sorry I didn't get your name) who was doing the mens hair did a great job as well. He took his time made sure everything was even and thier cuts didn't look all busted like people ive seen leave other places. highly recommend this place for both women and men! thanks again Viannea!

I went to Sinaloa for the first time 11/29/2018 with a vision in mind.... I wanted to take a risk... I turned 30 this year and had twin boys, I wanted to get my "groove" back and try something edgy. I have always wanted Auburn hair but had one really bad experience trying to attempt my hair aspirations a previous time ,10 years ago. I had close confidants tell me to try out a cut first before such a commitment to hair color and not having had experience with place before. But i knew that if I didnt go, I was going to talk myself out of it. So I took the leap. My previous hair dresser retired due to medical reasons and it was NOW or NEVER. I decided on Auburn balayage to ease me to the red realm. I figured seeing some of my natural color, the change wouldn't be so dramatic. Well it was DRAMATIC! I'm not sure if it was because my expectations and my past experience had intermingled and created an anxious monster but it was different. It took a llllllooong 5 hours. Disclosure I have long, mid back length hair, fine but a whole lot of it!! And Lidia, the hair stylist, was doing a meticulously amazing job! I do wish she went through or verbalized some of the next steps with me, it probably would have helped with the anxiety, she did it once through the whole process. Anywho, the cutt. I LOVED! My hair was flowing and bouncy. I had decided on sticking with the long layers that I'm used to instead of the current trend of choppy short layers, one change was enough for me! The color I was uncertain about like I said I went wanting a change and I sure got it! I think she executed and delivered what was asked, based on the picture I had provided (got to love pinterest) I saw a deeper red and I think she saw the copper and rose pink more. We cant read each others minds after all and there is always room for individualistic interpretation. It was late when all was said and done, i was tired and I'm sure she was too. I left, not hating the new me but also not loving it. Two days later I LOVE IT!!! I think i just needed a few days to grow into it! And I've gotten soooo many compliments! The dimensions of the colors are at another level!! Love, love, loving my new edgy look. I dont dye my hair frequently so I dont have a lot of cost comparisons but I do believe it was reasonable given the skills, the products and the time. I changed my appointment twice (bc I'm a busy mom with a whole lot going on) and they accommodated without complaint. This is my new place!

Love my new hair. Lydia was so sweet and careful with every step of the way. She didn't rush through the process and made sure the color turned out nicely. Everyone at the store was also kind. My friends, fiance, and even strangers said they loved my hair

Horrible experience getting a haircut. They charged me $45 for something worse than a child could've done. It looks like I let a 2 year old take a pair of scissors to my hair. I asked for curtain bangs and face framing layers and this is no where near close what i want. It's so choppy. Looks like I got a bowl cut and I was speechless after looking in the mirror. I basically left almost crying about how bad my hair looked. It's embarrassing

I walked in a little nervous and uncertain... but then I met Jasmine, and within moments I felt completely at ease. She has a way of making you feel seen, welcomed, and genuinely cared for--not just as a customer, but as a person. Her patience and understanding were so comforting, and she approached everything with such kindness that I felt like I was reconnecting with someone I'd known for years. There was an unexpected sweetness to the experience--like a reunion with a lifelong friend who somehow knows how to make you laugh even when you're bracing for a wax strip. Yes, I might be as hairy as a bear, and yes, the place is called The Bare Affair, which is hilarious and fitting... but somehow it never felt clinical or superficial. Jasmine turned something as silly as nose hair maintenance into a moment of trust, connection, and genuine friendliness. It's rare to feel that cared for in a service setting. And I have to mention: Jasmine's resemblance to a certain celebrity had me momentarily wondering if I'd stumbled into a secret, glamorous alter-ego--but in the end, I realized that she is the star in that space. It wasn't just who she looked like, but who she was--warm, present, and authentically herself. I walked out not only cleaner of ear and nose hair, but lighter in spirit.
