Why have appointments?

2 hour wait time even with an appointment. Came with a VA referral and was skipped by 5 other patients who arrived 30-50 minutes after I did. Front desk says it's based on your arrival time. I arrived at 1150 for a 12. And was skipped by 5 people who arrived at 1230 and later. All of the 1 star reviews are accurate. Don't waste your time. Definitely sending a complaint to the VA. If you can't serve patients you shouldn't be in VA community care. A veteran stormed out at 45 minutes when I first arrived and now I understand why.

These people do not care about your health. I was scheduled under VA Community care. They refused to see me as a Veteran with an approved and authorized referral and an appointment time/date. Under the VA Community Care program, Providers cannot seek or collect any type of payment under the program from the veteran. This provider tried to have me sign a financial responsibility document and i refused. Under the program they should know that the veteran is not responsible to pay for care under said program. THEY ARE HORRIBLE, REFUSING CARE TO A VETERAN in regards to a service connected disability... These people do not care about veterans! They are a money hungry provider that is a part of the VA community care for financial gain!

I had a long journey before actually being referred to Dr. Nasri. It was a long wait, but once I got in to see him and was evaluated things moved very fast. I had over two years of finally being diagnosed with a very over active parathyroid and after biopsy was referred to Dr. Nasri. His staff is very busy and sometimes the waits are long but in the end he and his staff are very professional and exceptionally skilled in their tasks. He is very straight forward and direct and I could see how some might be put off by this, but it is really what more Drs. need to be with their patients. Told me what I needed to do prior to my surgery as my blood pressure was elevated and informed me of the risks if it wasn't taken care of and he would not do the surgery if it remained high. My blood pressure was stabilized with medication and he scheduled my surgery. He is the absolute very best at what he does. I have an almost completely invisible scar on my neck. My hospital stay was overnight and he was in bright and early the day after to check on me and insure I was well enough to go home. My labs were good and in normal range right after the removal of my parathyroid. I just finished my last visit and he checked my scar, my most recent labs as well as putting the scope down my nose to check my throat and gave me a clean bill of health. I've lived in Las Vegas for about 10 years now and have heard horror stories of experiences with Dr's and offices but I consider myself very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Nasri and appreciate his exceptional skills and care and would not hesitate to see him again if need be! No matter how the long waits in the office, he has many patients and some requiring his immediate attention for sever health issues. He is one of the Very Best! Thank you Dr. Nasri and staff for helping me.

The receptionist on the phone is in Lala Land; she does not know what exactly her attending does. At first, she said he treats only thyroid-related complications. Then I asked if he also has a specialty in endocrinology, and she said, uh, no, he treats cancer. I asked her, "Is he an ENT oncologist?" She said, "What?" Long story short, after talking to her for 11 minutes, I got my answer: yes, he treats patients with hearing loss; however, he does not treat patients with ear infections. Now the funny fact is that on their website, they say, "Our practice treats ear, nose, and throat problems, from general ENT issues such as ear infections to complicated head and neck cancers". https://drnasri.com Apparently this doctor switched his journey several times, getting residency in ENT, then multiple fellowships on some other specialty like reconstructive surgery, etc, so technically he has license to see patients with ENT-related conditions, but apparently he pick and chooses patients. That's why Mary had a hard time talking to me on the phone.

All of his walls have tons of awards.

My surgery coordinator was not the best and seemed to be rushing me out of the office when I was scheduling so I had follow up questions once I logged into the portal and saw the notes for my upcoming procedures. But Samantha was FANTASTIC, she stepped in and called me when I left a message for my coordinator who was out of the office at the time; and she was very pleasant and helpful when I was in the office for the procedures. The post-surgery instructions are easy to understand but seem too basic for the irritation left. Need more guidance on post-surgery care and what's recommended for the various symptoms.

This review details my recent experience at an ENT clinic, focusing on the quality of care…read morereceived, staff attitude, and the clinic's handling of a medical complication during my visit. My encounter began when I visited the clinic and was seen by Physician Assistant (PA) Kate. During the appointment, the inside of my nose was nicked, resulting in significant bleeding that persisted throughout the night. The situation was distressing and prompted me to seek immediate follow-up care the next day. Upon returning to the clinic, I was met with an unwelcoming and dismissive attitude from the staff. Despite the urgency and the fact that the return visit was necessitated by a complication from their procedure, I was made to sit in the waiting room for over two and a half hours. Additionally, the front desk attempted to charge me a $95 co-pay for this follow-up, which I firmly communicated was their responsibility. After finally being called in, I was required to wait another 45 minutes in the examination room. Both Dr. Sikhand and his Medical Assistant appeared visibly annoyed and upset by my return. During the consultation, Dr. Sikhand admitted that PA Kate had indeed nicked the vascular tissue inside my nose but implied the incident was somehow my fault. The lack of accountability and empathy was disappointing. The bleeding from my nose persisted for over a month, severely impacting my well-being. Ultimately, I sought care from another doctor, who provided exceptional kindness and support, helping me recover over several weeks. In contrast, the ENT clinic not only failed to resolve the issue but also billed me for the follow-up visit caused by their mistake. Based on my experience, I would caution potential & current patients about this clinic. The staff's lack of compassion, poor handling of complications, and unwillingness to take responsibility for their errors were deeply troubling. In my case, it was another provider who ultimately delivered the care and attention I needed.

I was recommended to see Dr. Sikand and his team in March of 2019. I have lived here in the Las…read moreVegas area since 2010 ( 9 years July 1st) and ever since I moved here, my health has taken a nasty turn. I have had allergies so bad, just the most tired I have ever been, and constantly getting bad sinus infections that would drain down my throat to my lungs and i'd get bronchitis, all the time. I would never be completely well. I would get sick, they'd give me some antibiotics, sometimes some steroid pills to open up my airways and sometimes a shot to open up my sinus airways. This never worked. As a result of the band-aids being put on these issues, i have gained 50lbs over 9 years. As you know, these things increase your appetite or make you gain weight because yow already feel horrible and you are not able to move around like you'd like. Some of it is diet but a lot of it is the medications. The doctors are trying to help, this is not to blame. This is my story. Upon seeing my allergist, Dr. Fredrick Herman, a good doctor out here you guys) He recommended I see Dr. Sikand. Now, mind you, I had been sick off and on really bad for a whole year at this point. bronchitis, bronchitis, and asthmatic bronchitis. All due to sinus infections and an immune illness that does not help at all. I was really not interested in any more doctors. I didn't want to see anything or be seen. I talked with my parents and they were cheering me on to see Dr. Sikand. I got there and I was so nervous. To be honest, i was over everything. Nobody was going to fix the brain fog, the lethargy, the headaches, the ear aches, the constant cough and time off work. First of all, before I even went to the office his front desk had called me. The girls that work that front desk are the best people. They are kind, they are nice and if they don't know, they will call me back shortly with an answer . I got to the appointment a few minutes as requested. I was seen right away. The nurse numbed my nasal. passages ( i couldn't taste anything so whatever lady go ahead.) Dr. Sikand came in and introduced himself. My fear was being dismissed again. At first I thought I was being interrogated, but they needed my information so they could help me. I had to calm down. I was given a CT scan ( great machine, not claustrophobic at all,Takes about 1 minute if they have to adjust you. I am a shorty) Dr. Sikand had a better idea of what was going on after loading up my CT Scan. I had a slightly deviated septum but mostly my sinuses were swollen shut and my turbinates were severely swollen as well, causing oxygen to not get to through properly. I was snoring and not sleeping well at all. He talked to me about the "ballon" sinuplasty. It is not a nose job, this is a sinus opening and it would help me breathe better and a turbinate modification so that i could sleep better. I left feeling a little better. Still not on board, but after talking to my parents and Dr. Herman, I was ready. I made an appointment with Jasmine for the out patient sinuplasty. People, let me tell you about Jasmine. She is excellent. She books the surgery, is in the operating office ( yes it's done onsite) with you and holding your hand the whole time. I know because i was awake the whole time, but sedated nicely. She answered all my questions. She was professional and she is a really wonderful person. I was so grateful to her being there. The other girls are exactly the same way. All of the ladies deserve a raise or lunch on the bosses or something. Okay let me wrap this up. On April 15, 2019 I had my procedure. They called me right away. My family was there with me. However, they went outside to the parking lot because it was a bit cold in the lobby. I went in, had taken the medicine prescribed as directed on this lovely sheet of paper they give you for prep, and we were off. The procedure is recorded for medical purposes for Dr. Sikand. I couldn't sleep but i did stay nice and quiet and relaxed. When I was done, the nice nurses lead me to a room for post op with paper work and instructions. I went right home after having a stop to get a sandwich so I could take my pain pills right away. My head felt like i had ever tooth in my mouth drilled. I did not have any sore throat so that was good. I heard about the sore throat. I bought popsicles just in case. I took a week off of work to recover. They said it takes about 1-3 days but I know me, I heal slower. I saw the doctor 6 weeks after and he said i was doing well with my nose rinse and everything. I still had some healing to go.. After another 3 weeks I saw him again and he gave me the all clear for summer activities! Right now I am at 90 percent. I feel good and some days are a lil sore but other than that I can breathe, I can sleep, and I am able to resume my normal activities. No more brain fog either. I can never thank Dr. Sikand and his team enough for their help and patience with me.

The front desk was a little flustered due to the fire alarm interruption however they did the best as they could to get things back in order. It took longer to wait since everyone had to reorganize and start where they left off. After about 1 hour of waiting, Dr. Hilton came in. He is such a blessing!! He came in with such a great attitude and uplifted spirit despite the fact that he and the staff should have been heading home for the day.
