If I could give this place a -10 I would. Don't bother calling, faxing or emailing as the vm says. I sat on the phone 25 minute and still no answer. I faxed 4X and no response, I emailed 3X and no response. When I arrived for my appointment they asked had I done this and that ..... Ummmm NO! The Dr. you sent my referrals to does not take my insurance. Had you responded to my email, vm, fax you would have known that. I had the surgery and all he kept saying was I healed you, I healed you. I felt like he was showing out in front of his resident that was following him around. I saw him a week after my surgery and again .....I healed you. I have had a breathing issue for over a year. I had the first referral declined on January 17, 2025 by the receptionist. She explained that the referral had expired which it had not. I subsequently billed the office for my wasted time which they of course never paid. Next referral was in early September 2025, after I completed a "Sleep Study" in July that had revealed sleep apnea. Nasri's office screwed up the A-pap prescription request and has failed to respond to ANY requests from my wife or Preferred Home Care, the supplier of the A-Pap equipment. 2 hour wait time even with an appointment. Came with a VA referral and was skipped by 5 other patients who arrived 30-50 minutes after I did. Front desk says it's based on your arrival time. I arrived at 1150 for a 12. And was skipped by 5 people who arrived at 1230 and later. All of the 1 star reviews are accurate. Don't waste your time. Definitely sending a complaint to the VA. Under the VA Community Care program, Providers cannot seek or collect any type of payment under the program from the veteran. This provider tried to have me sign a financial responsibility document and i refused. Under the program they should know that the veteran is not responsible to pay for care under said program. I had a long journey before actually being referred to Dr. Nasri. It was a long wait, but once I got in to see him and was evaluated things moved very fast. I had over two years of finally being diagnosed with a very over active parathyroid and after biopsy was referred to Dr. Nasri. His staff is very busy and sometimes the waits are long but in the end he and his staff are very professional and exceptionally skilled in their tasks. He is very straight forward and direct and I could see how some might be put off by this, but it is really what more Drs. need to be with their patients. Told me what I needed to do prior to my surgery as my blood pressure was elevated and informed me of the risks if it wasn't taken care of and he would not do the surgery if it remained high. My blood pressure was stabilized with medication and he scheduled my surgery. He is the absolute very best at what he does. I have an almost completely invisible scar on my neck. My hospital stay was overnight and he was in bright and early the day after to check on me and insure I was well enough to go home. My labs were good and in normal range right after the removal of my parathyroid. I just finished my last visit and he checked my scar, my most recent labs as well as putting the scope down my nose to check my throat and gave me a clean bill of health. I've lived in Las Vegas for about 10 years now and have heard horror stories of experiences with Dr's and offices but I consider myself very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Nasri and appreciate his exceptional skills and care and would not hesitate to see him again if need be! No matter how the long waits in the office, he has many patients and some requiring his immediate attention for sever health issues. He is one of the Very Best! I am almost two weeks post op from my surgery with Dr. Nasri. He removed a thyroglossal duct cyst in my neck. As I playback my experience with this office, my best advice to anyone reading this is, trust Dr. Nasri, trust his staff and trust the process. When I was first referred and called for an appointment, I was informed how this was a very busy office and malignancy cases take precedence. Sometimes it would appear the staff and Dr. Nasri do not adhere to social pleasantries we have come to experience or expect from a specialist's office. Get over it. After I called my Ins to clarify my copay this office still charged me 340 dollars when my copay was supposed to be 30 dollars. When I reviewed my EOB my copay was in fact 30 dollars. The receptionist on the phone is in Lala Land; she does not know what exactly her attending does. At first, she said he treats only thyroid-related complications. Then I asked if he also has a specialty in endocrinology, and she said, uh, no, he treats cancer. I asked her, "Is he an ENT oncologist?" She said, "What?" Long story short, after talking to her for 11 minutes, I got my answer: yes, he treats patients with hearing loss; however, he does not treat patients with ear infections. I would never recommend Dr Nasri to anyone but specifically to anyone who has Optum healthcare. I went through weeks of waiting for an appointment and getting a CT scan of my sinuses only to be denied surgery. Dr Nasri told me I needed sinus surgery, and he has performed the surgery numerous times. However, he then smugly said he no longer does surgery for those with Optum insurance because Optum owes him a lot of money for past surgeries. He referred me to a doctor at UCLA. Really?? Of course, none of this is in the medical record, and the receptionist told me he puts nothing in writing, so there's nothing for me to appeal. He told me I'd have to wait until open enrollment in October to change my insurance and start the process all over again next year. What a guy! read more

Got a referral from Urgent Care to have a cauterization procedure since I get frequent nosebleeds without notice. I called to get an appointment and the person that answered the phone told me that I had cancelled an appointment in 2023 and they would schedule those procedures that I had cancelled. First off, I cancelled because that problem cleared up on its' own without medical intervention. I told her that, no, I did not want to do those procedures, I only wanted to schedule a cauterization. She said, "we don't do that in this office." Really? That's a load of you know what!! Luckily, I was able to call the Urgent Care and have another referral sent to Ear Nose and Throat Consultants of Nevada, who actually do this procedure and BTW were so pleasant on the phone and couldn't wait for me to call back after I got the second referral. I will inform my insurance that this doctor does not perform this simple procedure so they can direct their clients to a doctor who actually does this procedure. When you have such unprofessional people who answer the phone, I can only imagine how unprofessional the rest of the staff and doctor are. I went there one time, was not allowed to speak as he was dictating something into a machine. Dr. Nasri knows his shit. Excuse my language...but that he does. His office is filled with his diplomas and awards and it's definitely reassuring when you are going to have your throat cut open. By the time my paperwork from my specialist got sent to Dr. Nasri, I had done my homework. It's amazing how many of my friends had Dr. Nasri perform their total thyroidectomy. When my endocrinologist said that he is the best, he seriously is. By the time I got my appointment scheduled, it was about a month out. When we arrived for the first appointment the waiting room was full. I ended up waiting for him for about 2 hours just to talk about the procedure. We went through my two options/ hemi thyroidectomy or a total thyroidectomy. I opted for the total knowing that it was possible I had cancer on both sides. He had a long discussion about the pros and cons of both. I got my pre op paperwork and was told to get it done before the surgery date. Did that and I met with him right before the surgery to discuss cost and logistics. I waited about 2 hours again for this to happen. I met him at Summerlin Hospital and he was on time for the surgery. Afterwards, he met with my husband and told him his findings but of course we had to wait for the biopsy report. I remember coming out of post op and a few nurses commented on how it was definitely Dr. Nasri's work since I didn't look like Frankenstein. He's good at what he does and the nurses know that. He ended up releasing me the next day super early in the am. I had a post op appt a week later and since it was early in the morning the wait was minimal. Overall, the wait can be long (but the wait is long anywhere I go for specialists) but it's worth it to get the best. My scar is small and he does answer all your concerns. read more

This came straight off the American Thyroid Association's website... you know the one you were discussing earlier in our appointment about their guidelines that came out in 2018 regarding thyroid lobectomy. You are now so informed as to where I read my info. The same place you read yours. Also, you were my second opinion doctor. The surgeon I went to last month knew exactly what I was talking about and took no issue with me following up with him for another ultrasound in six months. By the way, if you do so many of these surgeries per year as you claim, invest in ultrasound machines for your office like the other surgeon I went to see has. During my first initiative appointment Dr. Nasri had said I would have to have a total thyroidectomy based on my report. I was really nervous. However Dr. Nasri made it very comfortable and the staff as well that there is nothing to worry about. just last week, I finally had my surgery and it wasn't that bad as I thought. Dr. Nasri performed surgery to repair my severe deviated septum and sinuses from a bad fall when I was 12 yrs old. He has strict guidelines to follow before surgery which I did...and I waited a few months to get. It's worth it. He's very thorough and today at my post op appointment he said there was a lot of narrowing with 80% blockage. He's very excited with results because my breathing has improved significantly which will improve my quality of life. Went in for a simple ear wax removal, this laughable clown of a dr comes in, with 2 interns which he did not even introduce, ask if I minded or bother to ask my permission for them to be there. He peeks into my ears and said they did not need wax removal. This office staff is a joke. I had four referrals sent to their office in the course of 6-7 months, and after the last referral was sent over to them, I called their office to confirm that it was the correct referral and their office staff (a black lady who's name I do not know, but it seems like they only have one black lady working there so they know who she is) assured me that it was the correct referral an I was "good to go". So, I scheduled an appointment for my first visit. I went into the office this morning at 8am for my visit, I filled out all of the new patient paperwork, and I waited almost two hours for my name to be called. When my name was finally called, the office staff told me that the wrong referral was sent over because the referral did not have my insurance listed on it. They showed me the referral and it did have my insurance listed, but for some weird reason, the referral was not acceptable by them. I do not have an issue with them telling me I need a different referral, the issue I have is that I CALLED TO CONFIRM THAT THE REFERRAL WAS CORRECT WITH THEIR OFFICE PRIOR JUST SO THAT I WOULD NOT WASTE MY TIME, I WAS TRYING TO PREVENT THIS EXACT SITUATION FROM OCCURING. I also have an issue with the fact that it took them two hours to determine that the referral was wrong, so it basically took them two hours just to look at the referral. I have wasted so much time with this office that it is ridiculous. How do you confirm that the referral is correct, allow a person to schedule an appointment, sit in your office for two hours, and then say that the referral is incorrect. In 2016 I was referred to Dr. Nasri due to a non-cancerous thyroid goiter which I allowed to get way out of control because I was so afraid of the prospect of having surgery and didn't want to have to take medication for the rest of my life. On my first visit he was very firm and made it clear that it was time to stop procrastinating and get it done! I must admit when I left his office I was so angry and my ego was a little bruised but that's because he was the first doctor that had the courage to tell me the truth rather than tell me what I wanted to hear. I'd been referred for surgery by 2 previous doctors but they would always "let me off the hook" if I resisted and simply say "okay, we'll just watch it". That approach got me no where except developing a massive collection of scarves that I wore around my neck to camouflage an enormous goiter growing out the side of my neck (SMH). When I left his office after the first visit I vowed to never return (how dare he tell me like it is - Lol). Thank God for my husband, he encouraged me to not to let my pride get in the way of finally facing this challenge and that he was confident that this doctor knew what he was talking about! All future visits before my surgery allowed me to be completely at ease with Dr. Nasri. He made me feel fully supported throughout the entire process. The morning of the surgery he continued to be reassuring and compassionate. When he came to check on me after the surgery I can still remember his big smile as he said "look at your beautiful neck!" I couldn't believe it - I looked normal again! He makes the incision to blend with the natural lines of your neck which set's you up for an optimal healing process. My scar is almost invisible now! The most awesome part about this experience is that he was determined not to remove my entire thyroid if he didn't have to and he didn't! Terribly run office, rude unsympathetic staff and doc who don't care about their patients. I waited 3 months for an appointment to then spend 2 hours waiting in the office. How is it that other doctors offices can keep their appointment times and maintain a schedule but this office can't at all?!?! Once I finally got into the exam room, I waited some more. Eventually Dr. Sian came in with multiple papers in his hand. He listen to my explanation of symptoms for a matter of seconds before interrupting never letting me finish. He then gave a superficial misdiagnosis that he clearly had already decided before even entering the room which is why he came into the room with the care instruction paperwork already in hand. He know what he was going to tell me before he even met me. Upon looking at the care info, it was so basic that Google provided literally the same treatment suggestions. During the rushed appointment he spoke over me so often, spoke so quickly and so arrogantly there was no opportunity to ask questions or provide more information about symptoms. It was the least kind and caring experience ever - especially from a medical care professional! This is someone who has dedicated their life to healing others but can't show basic respect and common decency?! Someone who can't muster the patience to listen and answer basic questions?! Repeating the exact same words does not better explain something that was initially misunderstood. But you have to actually care about people to think about things like that. Furthermore as a person of color, I am painfully aware of the long tutored history the medical industry has of using and abusing people of color which is maintained today. Dr. Sina did nothing to counter this reality and instead maintained the same unwelcoming, unempathetic, aggressive and dangerous status quo of white supremacy in the medical field. Medicine is a practice and Dr. Sina and his staff need to be sent back to the D-League to put in years more of practice. They also need extensive diversity training and maybe psychological testing to determine if they even have the ability to empathize with others. I too will contact the board regarding Dr. Sina. If you have thyroid cancer, this is the doctor you MUST SEE! I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer in April 2018 and had a total thyroidectomy in June 2018. Yes, Dr. Nasri has a quirky personality, but he takes immense pride in his work and knows exactly what he's doing. During my hospital stay post-surgery, my nurses were extra attentive to me because they knew how thorough Dr. Nasri is and wanted to ensure I was taken care of to his exact specifications. He's the best surgeon out there. He did my total thyroidectomy in 2015. It turned out to be papillary thyroid cancer. He's mostly kind but can be abrasive at times. I've had so many people including doctors tell me they can't believe how great my neck looks considering I've had surgery. I would not let anyone else cut me in the neck area but him.
