They are remanufactured and will sometimes reuse old solenoids even tho the part picture shows the older dark ones and not the new ones. I called around to see if I could find a store with the older solenoids, and the store out in 4801 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, OH 44515 still has one of the black ones not yellow. Waiting for my case to be resolved so I can come back for an exchange once they figure out it is in fact their part. I've been having a lots of problems getting faulty injectors from Advanced Auto I've also been through 2 HPOPs within a year before from them and decided to go online and pay extra for an Adrenaline HPOP for my 7.3, and so far so good. I'm very busy running a very successful business, and now I have no way of commuting until my case is resolved. Advanced Auto you have really let me down yet again, and did a frequent customer dirty. Plus they log all maintenance to Carfax so you're maintenance record is uploaded and current. So why I didnt give em 5 stars? Cuz the tire side, which I also utilize; I buy all my tires here also, (Walmart can get just bout any tire if you're willing to order them ,which I do). Tires come w/ lifetime rotation and free road hazard for lifetime of the tire if you're a Walmart Plus member, which I am. However, last three sets of tires I've bought....havent been balanced properly and required being brought back and RE-balanced. Basically impacts my next tire purchase vendor choice.
