This place is an absolute mess. No wonder intuit/quickbooks booted time from direct integration. Those investors will have lost their money due to poor management. We stayed with them after Quickbooks dropped them. I noticed that the employee portion of the deductions weren't working. So I called in July. Known issue. Justin said that I had to change things and create a new user account on QBO. SimplyInsured used that account to access the site the next day - things got fixed. I was supposed to get a follow up email of the deduction discrepancy so I could correct. A month passes and no follow up. We hired an employee that didn't get the invite for insurance. We login to simplyinsured again to find that the link was broken. Their automated reconnect to Quickbooks button doesn't work. I contact again, escalated to supervisor. Explained that I did what they said to do. And it still doesn't work. Tell me exactly what I need to do. Two weeks later and still nothing. Then I get an email saying that the case was closed --- and it's still not fixed. F'ing disaster with non-existent and when you reach them not knowledgeable customer support. Be Warned! read more

They efficiently matched me with a provider. However, you cannot review the terms of any insurance agreement before paying for it, and the agents can't tell you anything about it, including what it includes or excludes. YIKES! The agents know NOTHING about insurance terms, they know nothing about the products they are selling, and cannot offer any information about the policies whatsoever. They don't even know what "inland marine insurance" is or what "personal property" means, a basic business term. ZERO knowledge about insurance. They dont even know what kind of policies they have. We did use them but I cannot recommend to anyone. Major liability. read more

Terrible follow through. Does not take responsibility for their mistake and blames the insurance carrier. Plan was not cancelled when they told me it was in February and not until I contacted them in April about the continuation of billing. The plan was cancelled after I phoned and the insurance co will not retro to when it actually should have been cancelled. No apology or acknowledgment of this error being theirs but rather blamed the carrier. Do some research before going with any insurance broker as I probably should have myself. read more

The opposite of Simple. The system is so hard to use and unclear. Multiple times they have enrolled employees automatically without anyone's knowledge. Employer dashboard is a joke. Customer service is very slow and different person every time. Wish I had a dedicated insurance agent. read more

This company should be called torturedly insured - they switched the policy I wanted for a down graded option and I only found out when I went to the dr. They have yet to correct after a month of do nothing customer service people. Worst business I have ever dealt with bar none. We got the bait and switch when trying to find a plan and they kept moving us to more expensive plans. After 3 months of back and forth we though things were squared away. No luck. They screwed up billing and billed us for a month prior to the time we even chose a plan. After a year of a horrible plan that covered nothing it said it would I cancelled the plan. Received the cancellation paperwork for the insurer. Though the saga was over. No such luck. I found out this morning that Simply renewed the plan I had just cancelled. You can't get through to them by phone and their email support basically told me to pound sand. I called the insurer and they can't even figure out what Simply has renewed me for. Stay as far away from the liars as you possibly can. read more

We have been trying to make it work with SimplyInsured. This is by far the worst broker I've ever used. They screwed up my onboarding insurance when I started. I cut my finger and they told me I wasn't covered even though I was. I paid over $2000 out of pocket from ER bills. Now, they were supposed to update our dental plan in Dec 2018 but screwed up on the filing and we still don't have our dental plan today, Feb 2019. Our employees are paying $150 out of pocket for cleaning and x-rays. How are you still in business????? Stay away from the shambles of a company. read more

Wow! This bunch is the most unprofessional, dimwitted "insurance provider" I've come across yet. They don't know the products they are selling. They don't know how to administer them. They told us to send a money order (like it's 1960) to our previous employer only to find out WEEKS later that oops! that wasn't' who we were supposed to pay! So we're out insurance for two months while we do exactly as they've told us, but it turns out to be the completely WRONG information and so no, we were not covered when they said we would be, and when we've paid to be. This company is run by people who are are supremely incompetent. I wouldn't trust them to change a light bulb, much less administer something people count on like the health insurance they have PAID for. read more

I certainly wish I had looked at these reviews before making the horrendous decision to apply for small-business health insurance through this joke of a company. I have never experienced worse customer service from any company that I have ever dealt with in my five decades on this planet. Their system is set up so that nobody has to take any responsibility for anything. Their employees not only don't have extensions at which you can reach them or leave them a voicemail -- they don't even have individual email addresses! Literally the only way you can get in touch with the person presumably working on your file is to send an email to the generic "support" address and hope that the right person happens to check it! These people are liars! They said that they cancelled my insurance, but they did not. I had to call Blue Cross Blue Shield directly to get the policy cancelled. Hopefully after sending Blue Cross Blue Shield an email with the email string with my original cancellation request sent to Simply Insured will result in the cancellation and the refund of the money they drafted from my business account! read more
