One example that stands out is when we asked him about two beautiful Japanese cedars at the entrance to our home. These trees tend to grow bulky and require annual pruning. They came out, gave me an estimate, and I was ready to move forward with the project, but for some reason, they had a really tough time providing these basic details. I was very patient and understanding, even when I emphasized that we needed the stairs to access our crawlspace for additional house work (mold remediation). Unfortunately, I was met with repeated promises to follow up that never happened, spanning over a week. I get that businesses get busy, but communication and follow-through are a pretty basic part of customer service. I gave them multiple opportunities to simply send over the information I needed. He said his email wasn't working, so I asked if he could just send the info over via text. He said he would and that he just needed to finish something up and then nothing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them. If they are willing to be this unreliable before a project even begins, I can only imagine how difficult it could be once hired.
