As a certified arborist, Eli has been invaluable in helping us identify the trees on our land and understand what they need to stay healthy. He also pointed out several dead or declining trees that needed to be removed for safety--guidance that has kept our property both beautiful and secure. Eli is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. We have never felt rushed during a consultation. He takes the time to explain what he's seeing, answer questions, and make sure we fully understand our options. One example that stands out is when we asked him about two beautiful Japanese cedars at the entrance to our home. These trees tend to grow bulky and require annual pruning. Eli not only explained the proper approach but took the time to show us, step by step, how to prune them ourselves. He even recommended the exact tools we should purchase so we could maintain them safely and efficiently. We truly appreciated how freely he shared his expertise, especially knowing this was work we might handle on our own. His office staff is consistently professional and responsive, and the crew that comes to perform the work is always polite, efficient, and highly skilled. They represent Eli and his company extremely well. We highly recommend Eli Walton and Pioneer Tree Service and Landscaping for any tree-care or landscaping needs. They are first-rate in every respect.

Eli of Pioneer Tree Service and Landscape is an excellent arborist!…read more He came out on short notice to consult on the best way for us to save tree roots while we dug large complex trenches for a construction project on our property. His knowledge and advice was just exactly what we needed. And it work. He also spent a lot of time as he continued to answer a raft of other tree and landscape related questions that I had built up over a few years. His advice again, was spot on. I highly recommend Pioneer, and Eli in particular.

I cannot recommend this company based on the really terrible customer service I received. I was…read moregoing to hire them for a stair project and all I needed were the details (how many steps were in the plan + materials) that I could send over to the HOA for approval. They came out, gave me an estimate, and I was ready to move forward with the project, but for some reason, they had a really tough time providing these basic details. I was very patient and understanding, even when I emphasized that we needed the stairs to access our crawlspace for additional house work (mold remediation). Unfortunately, I was met with repeated promises to follow up that never happened, spanning over a week. I get that businesses get busy, but communication and follow-through are a pretty basic part of customer service. I gave them multiple opportunities to simply send over the information I needed. He said his email wasn't working, so I asked if he could just send the info over via text. He said he would and that he just needed to finish something up and then nothing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them. If they are willing to be this unreliable before a project even begins, I can only imagine how difficult it could be once hired. Large landscaping projects require a certain level of trust and reliability and unfortunately, my experience gave me neither.

We had a very disappointing experience with Cascade Roofing…read more Our home required extensive repairs (45k) after Cascade failed to protect our roof during standing seam install. Our family of 6 was displaced from our home for 5 months while we battled Chris and his insurance to cover the loss/damages and ALE. The workmanship fell below expectations, and several issues were either overlooked or poorly addressed. When we called about active water intrusion, they failed to act, and water leaked into our home for over 9 hours, causing significant damage. Even more frustrating, their insurance coverage fell short due to a workmanship exclusion, which resulted in our claim being denied and left us with substantial out-of-pocket expenses. (They are not covered to leave your roof 'open' after work begins) Communication was inconsistent, and accountability was lacking throughout the process. I would strongly recommend doing thorough research and asking detailed questions before choosing this company.

NOTE: THIS IS A REVIEW 5 YEARS AFTER THE ROOF WAS INSTALLED!!…read more I'm a disabled war veteran living on a limited fixed income in a mobile home with my daughter. Our home has it's original metal roof and over the years it has had multiple layers of snow coat roofing. I have patched it with seam-sealer, scraped and maintained it but over the years the weight of the snow had stretched the metal so that rainwater was collecting in pools and I had struggled with leaks continually. Handling this had become particularly difficult with my physical disabilities. Back in 2018 I reached out to several different roofing companies to get bids and they were ALL off the chart expensive. Cascade Roofing was actually recommended by several of the other roofing companies. Cascade Roofing's bid was actually "reasonable" compared to the others but even so, it was still more than I could really afford. I saved what I could and contacted Rick Steiner at Cascade Roofing and when he heard about my situation, he said that he would do what he could to help out. His team worked together very quickly to install an entirely NEW roof on my home and he even gave me a veteran discount that placed the end cost significantly below his bid! I was so thankful. I told him I would leave him an amazing review on yelp, but I didn't! The thing is... ...I've been living in this rainy area for so long with a leaky roof, I was honestly afraid that it was just a matter of time before the water started dripping here or there and I honestly didn't want to get my hopes up! I felt like leaving a positive review on a roof that hadn't been tested, couldn't possibly be considered "fair" and "honest". So, over the past 5 years have been checking everywhere with moisture sensors... NOTHING! NO LEAKS!!! After 5 years I can honestly leave this review now and say: CASCADE ROOFING IS THE ROOFING COMPANY TO HIRE FOR ALL OF YOUR ROOFING NEEDS!! These people are amazing, thoughtful, kind, and the quality of their work has stood the test of time! When it used to rain, I would get sick and stress as I'd listen quietly for the inside "drip" sound. I was worried that I would have to go out into the torrential rain, fumble out the ladder and try not to slip and fall as I'd carry a bucket of patch-seal to slop some of the chemical wherever I thought it might be leaking. Now when it rains... I smile. I still don't sleep great (because of my military issues) but when I do sleep, I don't have dreams of my roof falling down on me and my daughter in a mess of dripping beams and papier-mâché. To the team at Cascade Roofing, I salute you! Thank you for helping me and my daughter out when we had so little to work with. You've helped me to save our home and keep my daughter and me safe and dry. You are the BEST.

I waited almost 72 hours and had heard nothing back from them. I reached out to them again and this time someone did answer the phone. When I asked about having someone come and give me a quote for a water feature, I was told that if the project wasn't at least $7000.00, they would not come out. This information would have been helpful if it was stated on their website. Because of this, I've wasted almost a week. I will never recommend this company.
