Once I got it... yeah, that first bite did it. Super flaky, layers just breaking apart everywhere. Light, crispy on the outside, soft inside. The almond filling had that slightly sweet, nutty flavor, kinda rich but not too much. There was a bit of that soft, almost creamy center that made it even better. Top had that light crunch too, with powdered sugar and sliced almonds. Dipping it in the latte just worked. That slight bitterness with the sweetness of the croissant, really good combo. It's the kind of place where you just slow down for a minute before the day starts. I'd go back for that croissant alone.
