They watch after our 3 cats when we are not in town and they never fail to give us daily updates on the services they provided, pictures of the cats and any concerns that have come up. Twice Simply Pets has really gone above and beyond for us - once when I had a family emergency and they did everything they could to fit us in last minute. More recently we were out of the country when our furnace gave out and Kelsie & Josie did everything from turning on our space heaters to finding alternate housing (in case the furnace couldn't be repaired soon). They kept us informed every step of the way and what's more important, did everything to keep our cats safe and comfortable. I feel very comfortable having the staff at Simply Pets watch our cats - from scheduling, to billing to the way they interact with pets, you simply can't ask for more.

She lunged at every dog she saw, and by the time we got home, I was a hot and sweaty messy. Walks were miserable. After ONE session with Jasmine--and roughly 20 hours of work on my part--my dog now walks LOOSE LEASHED! Never in my life did I think that was possible. We are now working on getting past other dogs without any lunging, and I am confident that Jasmine can get us there!

No basic commands were covered and there was no improvement in the primary purpose of the training - potty training outdoors. Our dog was returned in a filthy cage - no question an indication of neglect. I've loved my experience with Enzolen!!!…read more I've worked with both trainers and have had an excellent experience. Currently my dog is being trained as a service dog, and I was ecstatic that I was able to get him started on his first task in my first session! I feel like they took great care in evaluating my dog for themselves and taking my own experience into consideration. I have been able to use things I've already taught my dog to further his training and it's even made me feel more confident as a dog handler. I love that they're a local business, and that they build a real connection with your pet. My dog who's usually aloof with people enjoys their company and even listens to them when I'm around which NEVER happens. I feel like their training methods are fair, and I like that they explain why they make suggestions for me. They're always willing to answer any of my dumb questions about their recommendations, without being condescending or holier than thou. I've enjoyed working with them so much I've already decided to do sports training and maybe even a board and train. Their prices are affordable which is an uncommon thing with training in chicago. I had a hard time finding someone within my budget, but I don't feel like I receive discount training. I feel like I don't have to be rich to provide training for my dog. All dogs can benefit from training (and all humans since it's usually us who has to make the biggest changes) and I'm so happy I found trainers I trust and can afford right in chicago. I recommend them to everyone I meet and will continue to do so! You will not be disappointed in your experience with Enzolen! Ps: they have a recommendation process, so if this review is the reason you decided to work with Enzolen, tell them Amber sent you! )

They are unethical (lied about the pup and breeder they were supposed to have been in contact with) and incredibly disorganized. I lost $3000 due to their "No refund policy" (they never even met the dog they were supposed to train), but I decided to cut my losses and run instead of staying with them and progressing with whatever program they were going to do. When we alerted Tammi we were relocating and asked if she might know of any similar stores in our new location, Tammi did some research for us and found us another store that carried the same brand so we did not have to change dog food. We have two cats and wanted them to stay at home while we were traveling, since boarding them can be such a stressful experience. We were looking for a personal recommendation or word of mouth service, but we weren't having much luck, so ended up approaching Home Sweet Home really last minute. The owner Jessica was really accommodating, came to see our place and go over everything. It was definitely a little nerve wracking to trust our pets and place to someone we just found on the internet, but it went really well. They offered to do other things to help out during visits to the home, like retrieve our mail and making our place looked lived in. The woman taking care of our cats left notes about how the cats were doing, how they were eating, which we really appreciated. The furballs were in good shape when we got home, the litter boxes were clean, etc. If we were still living in their area of service, we definitely would consider using them again if we needed pet care.

In fact, they probably walked our dog (black lab) more times in one day than we normally do because of our work schedules. Home Sweet Home's rates are very reasonable and they truly care about your pet's well being. I read a previous review by Franz F and felt that I needed to post a review based on our multiple positive experiences. Being a business owner myself, I understand that it is not always easy to hire the perfect employee every time, but I also know that Ms. Jessica has high standards and expects her employees to treat their customers the same way she would expect to be treated if the roles were reversed and if they do not, she fixes the situation immediately. Also, I have noticed that she is actively involved in the community...especially in terms of animals and pets. She has worked with different agencies to help pets receive food and medical treatment for families that may be financially challenged in these tough economic times. She also holds fund raisers for animals. The way she cares about people and their pets is truly special and she is not doubt one in a million. We will continue to utilize her services time and time again and we would recommend her services to anyone with a pet.
