Took my money and ran . No one to call or come out to if any problems. Put up the panels and drilled holes into my roof. Was leaking into my home. Water was dripping though the walls. Alot of damage. I was called by someone from Simply Solar about lowering my electric bills by 50% or more , I said I would like to see how . He came out but it was one of those days where two people came at once , the Direct TV people and the guy from Simply Solar , who did scans and an inspection , Meaning he peaked at a few rooms . He said he could defiantly start my savings immediately , and would work up some figures for me . So I was getting the TV guy straightened out as to what room got what. The Solar guy said he was done so I went over and he showed me he wanted to replace my 3 year old hot water tank with a Solar model and blow 3 inches of insulation into my attic. He said my electric bills would be down by 50% but then he explained how they would finance my improvements , so my electric bills would remain the same , because I would have to also pay for the "improvements" which would cost me only nine thousand dollars ! I worked for a plumber for several years and priced a new solar tank at less then a thousand and getting insulation blown in you attic would be possibly $200.00 probably less ! I told the guy to get out and I was not interested in being robbed. He said he would tear up the quotes which I found out he never did , because I got letters from 3 or 4 different credit agency's about a Nine thousand purchase I wanted to make I told them I was not interested in making any such purchase and was told the credit was being asked for by Simply Solar ! I immediately tried to call Simply Solar , which is difficult because the numbers they have listed are not working numbers , I got the real numbers from the credit beaus. I called and spoke with Samantha who said she would take care of everything ! I was ok until I went over my credit and found that I had numerous "HARD HITTS" asking for a nine thousand dollar loan from Simply Solar! Well every credit company now knows I do not want credit , Hopefully someone will do the right thing , I am glad that I am in the habit of checking over my credit from time to time and caught them all ! I can only say no one is going to give you a 50% discount on any of your bills ! read more

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I have already placed a complaint with the BBB. Simply Solar came to our house in October 2017 and promised us savings by putting their solar panels on our roof and changing out our pool pump. (Total cost $19061.50). Fast forward to January 11, 2018, we have panels on our roof that are not connected because the company can not get permitting and inspection. We have now paid 2 months for products that are not even hooked up or working. They never answer the phone. My husband leaves numerous messages and no one gets back to us. When they do answer, it seems we get the run around and are passed off to who they say will finally take care of the problem but they don't. They broke our original salt water pool pump. A week after they left our pool guy informed us that the salt water was not working and there was a leak. It took a month to get them back out here to fix it. They finally did come out and replace it but if it wasn't for our pool guy we would have never known. The salesman sold us a dream of saving money but this company has been nothing but a nightmare!! November 2017 we were promised that they would pay the finance company until the inspection was completed and the project was finished but that has yet to happen. We have now made 2 payments for a product that does not work!! Oh yeah, and we could possibly have a lean put on our house if we refuse to pay. I was contacted by Simply Solar for them to do an energy assessment to see if I could save money on my electric bill by installing some solar appliances. The same afternoon that they came out, they applied for a credit card in my name without my permission.which I immediately cancelled and which should be illegal. They said I needed new attic insulation, so I had another company come out to give me an estimate as well and was told that my insulation was fine and would last forever and I didn't need new. Also Simply Solar tried to sell me a new hot water heater even though mine was only 3 years old and I would have paid on it till I was 80 years old at 5.99% interest. I believe they are trying to scam senior citizens into buying things they don't need. read more

I entered into an agreement and signed a contract with ULTRAGREEN IMPROVEMENTS, LLC on March 9, 2018. The salesman was Jon Chorak. I contracted for a 4 kilowatt photovoltaic system, 30 watt solar attic fan, installed on a metal roof and diagnostic on current SDHW. The total agreed upon was $23,280. This price included all engineering, permits and install. I signed knowing I had three days to cancel just to get Mr. Chorak out of my house. Unfortunately, the fan was installed the following day which "commenced the job." I attempted to cancel the job but was contacted by Mr. Chorak telling me it was too late. He said they were ready to begin work and I told him not without a permit. Citrus County's permitting process is long. Again they wanted to begin work telling me that a permit was not needed. I called the building department and confirmed that a permit was indeed needed. This was relayed to Mr. Chorak. Again I told them no permit no work. Then I didn't hear from anybody for several months. I called the County and spoke to Tiffany who informed me that the permit had been applied for on June 4. Telephone calls were made to Ultragreen on June 26, July 5, and July 12 with no return calls. On July 30 I met with an attorney who suggested that I write a letter to the parties which would save me attorney fees. A letter went out to the registered agent of Simply Solar, Ultragreen Improvement, LLC and Service Finance. I got a response from Service Financial who told me that if I stopped payments my credit would suffer. They have opened a complaint file. Ultragreen and Simple Solar did not respond. August 1st I called WREC, my power company to inquire the process to go off the grid and was told that one is never completely off the grid. Furthermore I was told that there were forms to be filled out by the contractor which required a permit and an inspection. I have checked with them several time since and there has been no inquiries made my Ultragreen. I was also informed that I would continue receiving a monthly power bill. I have checked with the building department regularly and was told that finally there is a permit ready to pick up and Ultragreen had been notified. The permit was ready the end of June. I also called the company and was transferred to Chad, I believe Sales Manager who assured me that everything was moving along. He told me he would refund me the two payments already made and send me a gift card to Outback. That has not happened. The installers again showed up at my house telling me that the permit was being delivered and they could get started. They were told no permit they were not stepping on my property. Shortly after that a gentlemen showed up with what I believed was the permit--had the permit number and the engineering plans. They began work. It was not the permit. Then I was being pressured to release the money as the system was in place. Since then I have made many attempts to get someone to call me back--to no avail. I came home early one day and found three guys on my roof. They told me they had a work order to remove the panels the roof. After several phone calls, it was discovered that they were supposed to be removing panels in the Villages and somehow my address ended up on the work order. Had I not come home early, I would have had all the panels removed. I have spoken to Citrus County Licensing who has suggested file a complaint with the Licensing Board. I have spoken to Seniors vs. Crime and am filing a complaint with the State of Florida, Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Don, From Seniors vs. Crime told me he had spoken with Brittany at the finance company who had requested that I call her. I left three messages with no call back and then asked to speak to her supervisor who assured me she would call me by close of business on Monday. I did finally get Brittany who said she would look into what is going on. I have not heard back from her. Eight months of this is enough. They have their money and I am paying monthly for a system is not operational. AND I still have an electric bill. Please beware--the company is an F in customer service and if I had to do over again, I would have just kicked Mr. Chorak out of my house. read more

I had a solar water heater installed along with 2 solar fans in my attic , and a variable speed pool pump back in Dec 2016. It was installed i one day and I was told that I would receive a call from the company to have someone come out and inspect the work done then they would set up to ge the city of Plant City to come out and look it over. Well here it is Oct 17th, no inspection by the company, no inspection by thew city, they have no idea about the work done, I also never received the permit for my window. I have talked to numerous people getting no where, latest person Dylan just tells me it is out of his hands. I have talked to a Samantha, Amanda, Veronica all who have offered no assistance at all basically passing the buck. I paid a total of 14,000 for my system and can get no one to come out and ensure it is correctly installed, I have been lucky so far but we just had a hurricane come through about 2 months ago. This company is completely unreliable and I will be taking this further. I hope they read these reviews which I doubt, as I have told everybody who wants to get solar to avoid this company at all cost. read more

Disappointed with their sales tactics . Please heed caution when having sales agent come to your home, they will disrespect you and essentially call you stupid for not signing up.
