I wanted a flagstone or a paved path by my driveway. I showed up with my design concept in hand, including the area to be paved. Simply Rocks showed me some options. The flagstone looked like more than I could handle by myself. The yard guy showed me pavers in a charcoal color that I wanted. Then Willy suggested the " Muster k pattern" and made an estimate of the number of pavers I should buy. At home, I created the pattern in PowerPoint and adjusted it to fit my space. I had to go back for 1 additional paver to complete the job because I cut one of them the wrong angle. They made it easy and fast. And I did it! I'm very pleased with the results. We needed three decent sized rocks (2 feet long, 1 foot high) to keep people from driving into our garden. We visited several stoneyards and called several more. I was quoted prices in the range of $80 - $150 per stone and delivery fees in the range of $250 (and "delivery" meant dropping a pallet with the stones in the driveway). Then we saw a Craigslist ad from Simply Rocks. So we called and spoke with Alfredo. He quickly talked us through our options and then took photos of several stones and sent them through email for our review. It was pretty easy to make a decision - very clear images with a tape measure against the stones. This was about 10:30 in the morning. We confirmed with Alfredo at 12 noon that we wanted three stones. They were delivered and put in place at 5 p pm. Total cost: $43 for three beautiful, orange granite stones of the right size. Delivery: $90. Placement: $10 per stone. This transaction couldn't have been easier. Alfredo couldn't have been more helpful. The price couldn't have been better - really it was about 2/3s less than most of the quotes. And the delivery was as close to instantaneous as anyone could want. If all businesses ran this way, the world would be a better place. read more

For a DIYer this is the guy to call for a min. fee he will come down tell you how to do the landscaping and give you a list of what yo need even tell you where to buy the items. Best idea we have had for our yard yet was calling Simply Rocks. Simply Rocks can do it all, they are FANTASTIC! We needed a rock wall built because our house is built on a hill, and we just wanted to take precautions, so we had the wall built. Dylan was great to talk to and was very knowledgeable. And all of the workers on the wall were polite, they worked very hard and did the job in a timely manner. We had other companies look at the hill but the people they sent out didn't seem to know nearly as much as the people at Simply Rocks. We had a last minute change of mind on putting sod vs bark in a certain location, and it was no problem at all for them to make the last minute change. Their prices also were much lower than we expected. We couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend this company to anyone. read more

Neighbor turned me on to this place. Actually me & my 1 ton truck to haul a load of river rock for his landscaping. A friend with a truck ALWAYS has friends. Found some really interesting stuff particularly a slab of stone with great color variations, set in concrete. Really looks good at the entrance to my driveway. A little like Stonehenge. As we develop our gardens will go back for more. Particularly noteworthy are Dylan Neal & Heather Cusic. Didn't know their positions as they jumped right in to assist in any way possible. Gotta say Heather runs a mean fork lift !!! Worth the trip for ideas for any kind of stone work. Wife is already working me for a fountain. This place is great. Stefan took the time to come to my house (from Snohomish to Seattle) and do a bid for both purchasing the rocks and installing the path. The other 3 people I contacted said they were too busy to come to the house and do a bid but gave me a bid by email without seeing the project. Simply Rocks is simply wonderful! I was looking for rocks of a specific size for a memorial at the school where I work. I also needed to have holes drilled in the center in order to "thread" them on a pipe. I called several local companies, and I was quoted prices in excess of $1000 which certainly put it out of the price range for our parent club to cover. Then we stopped by Simply Rocks, explained the project to Stefan, and he not only provided the rocks, but drilled the holes for less than $100 and had them ready within 2 days! In reading other reviews, I can see this is not unusual for Simply Rocks to go the extra mile for customers. They are the sort of business that we need more of, and are a credit to the community. I can't say enough good things about this place. I was looking for some rocks for an aquarium that I was setting up.. A lady there advised me of which ones were popular and which ones to avoid because of iron. When she realized that my aquarium was only 29 gallons she recommended that I drive to the back of the lot and look through the scrap section. While I was there another gentleman also asked if I needed help and then the same lady came back and helped me find enough of the same type of rock that I was looking for. The total cost was only $1.80. The same 25 pounds of rock in a pet store would have cost me around $150. read more
