I won't detail everything that happened on this project--these are the highlights: * Subcontractor's day laborer found crying in the mail room * Same day laborer followed my neighbor to the manager's office and had to be removed from the property * Same subcontractor was fired, leaving my apt a mess * Next subcontractor walked off the job over a payment dispute with James * James stated he would finish the job ... but not for another 6- 8 weeks because he had other jobs he was prioritizing I paid him $4000 and all I got was a bigger mess than when I had started, including damage to the window treatments, damage to the flooring and damage to my furniture. He always had a story and an excuse but ultimately chose not to take responsibility for how things were left -- see text messages below. This guy is either a con artist or a horribly disorganized and overextended business owner ... either way, be very careful before entering into any agreement with him.

Qualities of a good paint job were discussed verbally with contractor before job began and contractor verbally agreed but then ignored. Paint is peeling off of windows, doors, and baseboards. Improper taping damaged floors. Cabinet doors rehung crooked. Now need to redo much of the project and repair the other damage done. Received a past due notice for final payment days before the job was completed. Contractor kept saying it would be the last day of work when job was far from finished. My experience was very similar to the other one star Yelp post.

We are extremely satisfied with his work and would highly recommend Summit Handyman Services. We would definitely use him again for future home projects.

From start to completion, my experience with Long Bros Construction was fantastic. Angel arrived…read moreon time for the estimate appointment and was very professional, personable, and knowledgeable about what the company could offer. He provided the estimate in a timely manner and worked with us to tailor it as we decided what exactly we wanted to do. I believe that the price provided was fair and a good value considering the scope of work. The job ended up including the replacement of a garage side door, major repair of stucco around a new electrical panel (including inside the garage) plus stucco repairs around the entire exterior, repainting of all stucco repairs, and repair and repainting of all wood trim including the new door and the front door. Fred was the project manager/foreman assigned to our project and he was also a consummate professional. He was there daily and took care of supervising the multiple subcontractors who were onsite working as well as doing a lot of work himself. He was very good at keeping me in the loop and went over and above to deliver an excellent job. All the subcontractors were pleasant and were great about cleaning up at the end of each day. There was a lot of work to be done but they started on a Tuesday and were done by the next Tuesday. If we have any other home projects or have friends who have home improvement projects, I will not hesitate to contact or recommend Long Bros Construction.

After putting an inquiry through yelp for a handyman Randy replied and we scheduled him to come and diagnose the problem. He was originally scheduled to come on a Saturday but unfortunately was finishing up a job at another site. We did appreciate his timely communication and were able to reschedule for the next day on Sunday. The biggest problem was that the seals of our guest bathroom toilet were completed worn down from wear. Randy showed us the problem and offered quick fixes if we didn't want to spend as much money but in the end we decided it was best to replace everything. He went to the local Home depot and did the shopping for us through facetime and pictures and took care of everything afterwards. A few hours later everything was installed and it was as good as new. After considering the cost of materials the price for his time was very reasonable. Thank you!

I ended up hiring someone else to fix it. The shelf was not centered, he didn't use Mollies to anchor the screws and he also damaged the wall and didn't tell me until I noticed it. He said he was going to fix and center for free but he was going to charge me $150.00 to patch a 4x4. I didn't mind him coming back but after I saw the damage he did I feel he lacks experience and I didn't want to take the risk and my shelf coming out of the wall. He is a nice guy but definitely should be watched from start to finish. He even covered my outlet with the shelf which I can only use one of the two outlets. Anyway, I don't think he's a shady person, just not attention to detail and just macgyvered the job.
