Super disappointed. I was in the area and figured I'd show some support and give them a try -- even with the prices being higher than I'd normally go for. The vibe was nice (that's where the 2 stars come from), but man... the food? Nah. I couldn't even finish the meal. I went with the jerk chicken -- and it was dry dry. Like, Sahara-level dry. To cover it up, they drowned it in this thick jerk gravy that was just pure pepper heat. Now before you say, "Well, Jamaican food is supposed to be spicy," let me stop you -- I'm Jamaican, and this wasn't that. This was pepper sauce panic mode to try and hide bad chicken. It didn't work. And the gravy? It tasted like it had been reduced down so much that every drop hit with this dense, heavy punch of pepper and salt. No balance. Just aggression. It overwhelmed everything on the plate. $15 for a large jerk chicken lunch? No sah. $25-$30 for oxtail? Hold that. think it was like $20 for the chicken and a small bottle of ting. We had a group traveling to Orlando for a long weekend to celebrate with my daughter for her birthday! I wanted to get some Jamaican food for the group for dinner on a Saturday. This place DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I called and was told they normally sell out on Saturday's, so I was able to place my order for pickup on Saturday. EVERYTHING went as planned and the food was SIMPLY DELICIOUS!!! The owner was thorough in his communication and very polite and professional. I ordered curry chicken, jerk chicken, jerk wings, mac & cheese, cabbage, plantain, cornbread and we have plenty of rice and beans. Everything was delicious. I even tried a beef patty and my friend had a shrimp patty while we were waiting for our food and they were the best we've ever had. The crust on the patties were absolutely amazing. We didn't get pictures of the patties because we ate them too fast. everything was on point and they definitely get a five stars from me. My husband and I live in the Champions Gate area, which is pretty close to this place. We enjoy grabbing Simply Delicious whenever we can!! Our favorites are the jerk pork and beef patties, but we will opt for the jerk chicken if the pork sells out, which does happen because it's SO good!!! My husband and I are avid travelers, and having travelled to the Caribbean quite a bit, especially Jamaica, I can attest that this food has been the most authentic we have had in the Orlando area since moving here!! Having traveled to Jamaica multiple times this is the closest approximation to authentic Jerk Chicken and Pork I have had. The wife and I have eaten here multiple times and the owner and has always been extremely hospitable and friendly each time. On the weekend, you definitely have to get there early because they will run out of pork and oxtail which is a testament to how good the food is. read more

The food was BLAND and looking at some of the recent reviews I should be happy that was the worst of it on my end. But... the food was SO bland that it left me unsatisfied and disappointed.
