Probably the best thing you can say about our original furniture is that it was eclectic. More truthfully, it simply didn't really look that great, pretty much a "before" project on what you'd see on HGTV. Once Vanessa and Michelle got through with it, the interior of the house was totally transformed. The first step was Vanessa came through the house with her contractor, Arlin, and recommended changes to be made, including updating ceiling fans, light fixtures, installing recessed lights, etc. We didn't do everything she recommended but we did most. Vanessa coordinated all of the contracting work done by Arlin and his team, and provided all the quotes. The prices for the various jobs were very competitive, generally cheaper than other estimates I received from other contractors. The bottom line is that the results speak for themselves. We received multiple offers and sold the house for $110K over list within 5 days for the highest price ever sold in our neighborhood. I couldn't have asked for much more than that. The eventual staging looked fine. It was pretty minimal (living room, dining room, breakfast room and master bedroom), but the house sold for more than the asking price. However, during the staging, the floors (which had professionally cleaned prior to staging) were left a mess - footprints, water, mud, etc. were widespread on the main level hardwood floors. There was no attempt to do any cleanup by Staged by Design. Our realtor actually ended up cleaning the floors. Furthermore, when the staging was removed, there was a large scratch on the master bedroom molding that had to be repaired. I believe this repair was paid for by Stage by Design, but the arrangements had to be made by us or our realtor.

I recently purchased items from an online auction. One item was listed as sterling and is not. It was as if no one bothered to actually look at the items, they just took photos and if it was in a box, they assumed it was that mfg. they also had photos of two items with boxes and they arrived in ziplok bags. No box. Unsure why you would not say in the description that the box was not included if it isnt. I'd still purchase from them, but just be aware that their listing person is careless. No items should ever be listed as sterling that is NOT MARKED sterling.
