Chudo Organizing - Kitchen Pantry Before and After

I contacted several organizers and Chudo offered good communication and a fair price. Within 48 hours, they sent a team of two for 6 hours. I chose this window (their "Starter Package") for budget reasons, despite the clear expectation that it might only be enough time to finish one space and possibly get started on the second. Like a whirlwind, they showed up on schedule and quickly got to work setting up their folding tables. They helped me methodically address the chaos by assigning me tasks one table at a time, which broke things up and made it feel manageable. As expected, the time frame was not enough to finish both spaces, but instead of cutting things short or requesting to bump up the cost, they expertly managed the time, accomplishing about 90% of everything and setting me up for success with the rest. They left the staging area looking like they were never there, and even hauled away many bags of donations. It is such a relief to have a usable spare room and organized shed, well worth the money!

Fitting ourselves into this new space has been daunting, but Lisa has made is happen quicker, easier, and better than doing it solo. Working with Lisa is wonderful. She's very easy to be with and listens to what's important to you. But also she keeps things on track working towards a goal, and asks great questions and makes great suggestions. I was stalled out on going through garage and holiday boxes but was able to do it with Lisa's help today. And I'm not exaggerating about getting ten times the results. There's no way I could stay on task for 3 or 4 hours working alone. But the time flies by when we're working together. And guess what? Lisa takes all your donations when she leaves!!! How's that for the cherry on top?! Lisa gets my highest recommendation.

What a life saver!…read more Over the years, my boyfriend and I have accumulated a lot of stuff. Though I knew we needed to organize our home, just looking at everything became increasingly overwhelming. I reached out to Bee Organized and Lisa got back to me fairly quickly. Getting on her schedule was a pretty straight forward process after speaking over the phone about what we needed. We booked an 8 hour day with Lisa and she did an incredible job helping us pack up items that weren't ours, declutter items that we didn't need, and sort through paperwork that wasn't touched in many years. What Lisa did in 8 hours would have taken us SO many years. Just with Lisa going through all the items in our home office, we were able to make the space feel more like our own + gained some empty cabinets + had items reorganized in ways I had not imagined. She even helped drop off bags of donations! Some things are worth paying for if it impacts your mental health and this is definitely one of those things. We're looking forward to having Lisa back to help with our garage that is in dire need of assistance!

I can't say enough about Gwynnae and the amazing help she has given me. She came in to a complex…read moresituation (organizing and moving several generations worth of possessions, going to several different places) and with grace and understanding, rapidly assessed, gave suggestions, offered resources, and in short order, got the job done. With reasonable rates, she sticks with you through your whole process, is very easy to talk to and work with, and combines professional expertise with practical wisdom. Home Transitions is the service I've needed for some time now, and I give Gwynnae my unreserved recommendation.

Out of necessity, I had to clean out my elderly mother's home immediately following her passing. To…read moresay I felt overwhelmed would be a huge understatement. Gwynnae came in like an organizational angel and personally led me through the process of sorting, storing, and donating my mother's belongings. To me, of course, it felt like I was touching every part of my mother's long life, including every single book of matches, hotel shower cap and business card (and much, much more) she'd ever laid hands on -- she was quite the pack rat. Gwynnae stood right there by me for five straight days and helped me shoulder the crushing emotional weight of all the items to sort through, from vintage hats, to out-of-style clothes, to furniture and keepsakes. For whatever reason, these things were important enough to my mother that she choose to hang on to them for all these years. But Gwynnae kept gently asking me the same question, 'Even though your mother had it for so long, how important is it to you now and going into the future?" We used the three-pile sorting system - 1) Keep, 2) Discard/Donate, and 3) Not Sure. The Not Sure option was incredibly helpful, in that it allowed me to have some extra time to reflect upon the sentimental importance of particular items. Most importantly, there was never any judgement or criticism placed on what I deemed important enough to keep. In the end, it was extremely freeing to decide to donate most of her things, knowing that my mother's legacy would continue, in whatever small way, through the re-use of her items. Gwynnae was also extremely creative in finding buyers for the items with any remote value. She identified a vintage clothes reseller who adored my mother's hats, gave me good money for them, and subsequently ironed and tailored new life into them for others to wear and enjoy. A total victory! All of my work with Gwynnae and Home Transitions was done with kindness, confidentiality, and a firm but supportive hand to hold during this monumental life transition. I highly recommend her services for whatever organizational projects you may be considering, be it cleaning out your junk drawer or sorting through an estate.

The big job was going through two shipping containers which included a lot of sorting, organizing & donations. Not only did they help in these areas but they repacked my containers (using what I had and new - and with labels for each box) and hauling them up a flight of stairs to their organized space. What a huge job that was and a huge weight off my shoulders! What they did in a day would have taken me over a week, or more!!! I had this dynamic duo come over again when my teenaged daughter wanted to clean out her closet. Mama got smart and NeatWorks to the rescue!! They were patient and set donation items aside to make sure it was mother-approved! I will certainly call upon their services again when I have a job that has been put off far too long or a larger job than I don't want to tackle on my own.

I'm in process of downsizing over next few months and finding it overwhelming with no help nearby. So found NeatWorks- they came out and had a consult about what I needed done. They've been to my house since to organize the garage (a huge project) and kitchen. Love their skills, attitude, knowledge about what to do with everything and even haul stuff to dump and take stuff to donation outlets. They'll do full house moves too which when time comes I will have them do mine . They bring boxes the packaging tape and even a label maker so my garage bins are clearly labeled. They service Solano Yolo & Sacramento counties. Amazing!!! Well worth the money. And they're really nice!
