I wanted to wait and see what my results looked like before posting a review! I've been coming to Simplicity for well over a year now and the results are wonderful! I've never had laser done prior to this so I didn't know what to expect except for possible pain. When I started my first couple sessions, the place would be empty and only had one staff member running both reception and performing the laser sessions. Now, well over a year later, they have over 6 or 7 staff members (including a receptionist) and sessions get booked rather quickly! I just went in for my 7th session today and they are already booked solid for 7 weeks out!! As far as the pain goes, it didn't hurt at all at the beginning but gradually became painful! I'm so glad my next session will be my last!! The lobby is clean and welcoming and the staff are friendly and professional. I believe they have a strict policy when it comes to cancellations, however, I've rescheduled multiple times (even the same day as my appointment) and they've been super accommodating and able to squeeze me in whenever it's convenient for me. I highly recommend Simplicity Laser! I'm middle eastern with an olive/light skin tone and dark hair and IT WORKS! I only needed 8 sessions but the staff recommend 8-12 for the best results. Don't use Simplicity in KC they have scheduling issues. Steer very clear! They dont do anything to assist and booked too far out to accommodate. I've been to a few other laser hair establishments, and I was a fan of Simplicity Laser. The lobby and facility was very clean and tidy, and the woman that works there is very friendly. If you are familiar with laser hair removal, they use the higher end laser with the blowing cold air. Makes for less pain. If this is your first time, its a good place to start. The prices are competitive, you can either buy a groupon or they offer the same pricing on their website as well. The only downside is that initial package is for 6 treatments and depending on what you are getting done you will need more. Each month they have rotating specials too, and can save you a significant amount of money if you opt for a monthly payment plan. The only downside is the limited hours, but they are planning on hiring additional staff and extending hours. I usually don't have issue with Simplicity, but I just had an appointment booked for 7:25 AM. Well I was 8 minutes late because it's snowing! When I entered I was rudely welcomed with asking if I had a mask (which I understand, and I had one). Then the women at the front desk continues to say "I'm not sure if she will be able to do all the areas". I'm just a little upset because any other time I've been a little late their was grace and all of my areas could be complete. I guess the service just depends on whose there that day. This was my first laser experience. I have done my initial sessions for 3 areas so far and was very happy. Everyone was very kind and friendly. I was brought back very quickly. The treatments were not very painful at all. I cannot give information on the actual success of the treatment yet but will update later. So far so good. 1+ year later: I wanted to love this place since it's affordable and they get you in and out quickly. However, it's been over a year of treatments on my bikini line and I'm not seeing any results. I tried to discuss other laser options with simplicity management since I am blonde hair, blue eyes and very fair skin. They continue to use the YAG laser when I should be on the Alexandrite. I went so far as to get professional opinions from doctors and outside techs and they all agree I'm too fair skinned to be on the YAG. With my skin type the YAG won't work. As hard as I fought with simplicity I can't make them use a different laser so it's just wasted money and time. I would encourage you to do your research on your skin type before spending your money! There are better companies with better lasers out there. read more

I had a terrible experience with scheduling for a laser appointment for my mom.I called the 800 number who then transferred to the Overland Park location, the person who answered the phone was uninterested, slow and gave me an appointment of Dec 30th when I was calling on Oct 18th.Two and a half months of wait? I have had laser hair removals at multiple locations but no place gave me that late of an appointment. Maybe promotions should not be ran when people cannot be accommodated. Most businesses would handle this by increasing headcount during busy hours or work later - these guys are closed for the entire week of Thanksgiving (I don't know of any job closed for an entire week). Promotions won't save you or sustain you, good customer service will. read more

Steer clear of this business!! It's a scam!! Yes, they provide services, but it's not permanent. At first, the staff is very accommodating with getting your appts. scheduled, and after your first session, you would schedule your appt. at the end of your visit. After a few visits with no issues with scheduling, the staff most times would say their system was "having issues" and they would be unable to schedule your next appt. Their staff makes no effort to call you when their system comes back up to schedule your appt. I'm sure they hoped you would forget, so you didn't get all of the sessions you were supposed to get during your one-year membership agreement. Then when your membership is complete their staff will tell you there is an option to continue your membership at a standard rate and can cancel at any time. They do not mention you have to cancel in writing and they would continue to collect payment. Their communication skills are horrible. Save yourself the headache and money it's not worth it!! I've found a place closer to home that is comparable in cost without the membership fee and does better work. read more
