However, it was very disturbing that my family member passed away a few months ago And aside from the fact that I'm still receiving multiple surveys in the mail one was addressed to my deceased family member and went to that home address. This was a survey on the funeral home experience. I had to call this morning and inform them. I spoke to John, and he was extremely apologetic and stated he would speak to the owners to make sure that this doesn't happen again. I'm not even sure how this happened in the first place being the deceased name and address weren't on any of the paperwork aside from the death certificate. It's pretty much one of the last things a grieving individual needs, and it was made worse by the fact that I had a travel to get the mailing. In my opinion, I don't find this appropriate or excusable.

It first started by me messaging you, Brad, on Facebook messenger asking you to call me. Your response was, "oh, no, please don't tell me it's your Mom." That right there made me feel the love you guys have for my Mom. I knew I wanted you both to take care of my Mom because you knew my Mom for years and loved her!! Next proceeded a flurry of texts and phone calls preparing us for when Mom passed. You both put our minds at ease. You answered all our questions promptly and never made us feel like we were bothering you... because I texted a lot. When Brad came to pick up Mom, his demeanor was soothing and respectful. His voice was calming. Even the way Brad stood when talking to us with his hands folded and the way he spoke was so peaceful, calming, soothing. He took such meticulous care preparing my Mom for transport. My brother-in-law was extremely impressed with everything Brad did and said. The lovely rose on top of Mom was a wonderful touch. Megan was amazing with all the arrangements. She answered all our questions. She gave us suggestions for Mom like asking if she had a favorite perfume she liked to wear and made sure we didn't forget to bring her glasses. My family requested our friends and family to wear Chicago Bears attire to the wake in honor of my Mom, the diehard Bears fan. Brad and Megan went out and bought Bears jerseys for themselves to wear, which I think was just amazing. We picked out a navy blue metal casket and Brad and Megan bought Bears magnets to put on the casket, which was a genius idea!!! That was so incredibly thoughtful, along with painting my Mom's nails in blue and orange. Ironically, the girls in the family went and got our nails done in blue and orange and we just about flipped out with excitement when we saw Mom's nails done. I would never ever have thought of that!!! Mom looked absolutely lovely!! I can't thank Brad and Megan enough for that!!! They even bought Mom a Bears blanket and had it on display and then asked my sister and myself to tuck Mom in at the end so that Mom was comfortable. Again, the love for my Mom just shined through in everything Brad and Megan did for us!!!!! I kept forgetting things and Megan was there to help remember and help us along the way and I will never forget that. I seriously can't thank Brad and Megan for all that they did. We have gotten so many compliments on Mom's services and how beautifully everything was done and it is all thanks to New Traditions!! I will never ever use anyone but Brad and Megan for our needs and I highly, highly, highly recommend them!!!!!

This is a small business and they take the one on one time to make sure things are the way you want with sensitivity and caring.
