Keeli.. I give a 1 star. If I could give zero I would. Why?? Keeli was jealous of my hairline. And tried to mess up my hairline by focus and rubbing in 1 place trying to rub out the hairline. I had to move Keeli hand while she was washing my hair because I noticed what she was doing, focus and rubbing hard. Jealousy is an insecurity. That's not cool. I reviewed Keeli in June and was mad af she cut my hair so short! I specifically told her I didn't want it cut! But wanted to update that since the cut Keeli gave me in June, I've been wearing knotless braids and my hair has grown quite a bit. The braider said that she could still see quite a bit of spit ends at the time and that Keeli may have saved what she could so I wouldn't be too short. I was excited based on the reviews but in the end disappointed. I decided to give this place a try because my usual person I go to was booked and I couldn't wait another week. I came for a wash an flat iron which I figured isn't complicated. During my service there were lots of plugs about extra treatments she was trying to sell me for future services. When she was done I was shocked, my hair was still kinda poofy in the root. I then said I don't think my crown area is straight enough and she responded with "I think it's straight enough". My hair didn't even last 3 days, and had no movement compared to people I've gone to in the past. My hair is shoulder length and she charged me $70. Will not be coming back. read more

I hate to be the one, but this needs to be said. In October 2021, I contacted Keeli about cutting my hair into a style. She told me to come the next day. I was very excited to work with Keeli, as my family recommended her to me and gave shining reviews. Sadly, when I arrived, I was met with a lot of attitude. I waited 40 minutes while she worked on another lady (which is fine), but afterwards she told me she was going to get a salad and left the shop. Another 30 minutes. When I finally sat in her chair, she YAWNED and said to me "I'm feeling tired today... I don't think I can get into your hair right now." I was taken aback and started to panic but I needed my hair done so I politely ASKED HER TO DO MY HAIR, a service that was already expected since SHE was the one who told me to come that day. From that moment, she started raking my hair out and started cutting. No structure. No careful cutting. She loosely shaped my hair into the Afro shape. I also couldn't get any kind of conversation out of her? I felt as though she was angry or annoyed with me. At the time I was elated because I just wanted my hair shorter, so I paid her and left. I found Keeli on Yelp and im glad i did. My appt was at 430p and she was ready for me when i arrived. I was the only one she was servicing at that time so i was in and out. I was so happy i didnt have to deal with "putting me under the dryer while she does someone else's hair" routine...
