OMG this was just the best customer service! I came here when I need something for my parties. They have photographers, limos, tux, hall with table and chairs, etc. I own all my Parties and my beautiful wedding to Sb Bridal Simplemente Beatriz This is a Family Shop and I love it. I placed an order for table cloths and took pictures of the two colors we ordered, once we were decorating the hall for our event we noticed the color was not correct, I called and made arrangements for them to deliver the correct color, once again the color was incorrect (nothing to what we ordered), we had no choice but to keep the incorrect color, once all table cloths were on tables half (10) table cloths were stained! After multiple calls Beatriz the owner of the business admits that she did not have enough table cloths in the correct color originally ordered so instead of reaching out to us saying she didn't have enough she made the decision to give us a different color! but honestly the kicker to this is renting out dirty stained table cloths! The inside of this store is terribly dirty and smelly, the establishment smells like dog poop and pee, the dogs are cute but unfortunately she doesn't clean up after them inside the business, I should have ran out of this business with the appearance foul dog smell. The owner that runs this establishment obviously doesn't take pride in her business. read more

Very disappointed with this place. Female owner is very rude, impatient, and condescending. Save your money and go to LA instead. You'll get better costumer service and receive your items when they are promised. read more

Maribel was very nice and courteous but, she disappeared on me after I placed the order for my invitations. I kept calling and the old lady (I think her name is Beatriz) because my event was in 4 weeks and I had to send out my invites, but Beatriz was so INCONSIDERATE... She would tell me, "Maribel is not here so talk to her." and then she'd hang up on me. Straight hang up on me!!! I would call back and she'd send me straight to voicemail. I would be livid. believe me, i would have taken my business somewhere else, but I had no time and I also paid the money. This happened 3 days in a row, where I would call and she'd just hang up on me. I finally had to lie to her and tell her...... I'm renting more stuff from you and that's when she became friendly. Screw that. Only attentive when she thought she'd be making more money from me. Otherwise she'd just pick up and hang up. We paid for the services, and we are customers... Smh never coming back... Awful customer service.. read more

This place is very unprofessional.....my sister 15th was 4 months ago and we still do get the video or the picture....we tried calling but the owner keeps on hanging up the phone send me to voicemail....and they are very rude they don't know how to treat customers.....I dont recommend this place at all....very mad and disappointed we payed them and never got what we had to get....don't go to this place if don't want to lose money. If it would be me I would give it no star but it doesn't let me put a review with no star. read more

Worst customer service ever. The owner gives customers attitude, and she takes forever to give you what you already paid for! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! read more

Giving them ONE star because I have to. Rented tables& chairs. We are one mile from business; they charged $10 to deliver! Came to bring back chairs & tables ... called Beatriz to open gate. She said she would be right there to open gate...25 minutes later of waiting...never opened gate. We called went straight to VM! Then she finally shows up!!! Plus, my Son had to do all the unloading!!! Beatriz could of been honest when we first called & told her we out at the alley! Now, her husband is making us wait telling us my husband came to get more chairs! He is blocking us so we can't leave! That's why I alway do business with Dulceria Candy Land. They have good prices, don't charge $20 to deliver & pick up! Plus, they have nice customer service not like Beatriz etAll! Never again! read more

I'm giving them 4 stars because they delivered on everything that they promised. I hired them to do photos/video and I rented a hummer limo from them. Photos were ok and video was a bit cheesy but I didn't mind because it was affordable. This is not necessarily the place to go if you want high end pics/video. Also, sometimes, Beatriz was difficult to get ahold of. Sometimes she wouldn't answer her phone but when I called later/next day, I was usually able to get ahold of her. Everyone here was polite/helpful. read more

My girlfriend and I had a 16th birthday part for her twins. We used this place for the table cloths, photography, tux rental, and chair covers. Everything went ok except.. when it came to picking up the video and pictures. The lady that runs the place Insisted we pay an additional $100. She claimed it was in the contract. We both reread the thing twice. She was just trying to see if we would fall for it. I would never go back to this place again. Be really careful with these guys. They will get you if they can. read more

I hired them for my daughters Sweet Sixteen video and photography. Two older guys showed up to my house the day of event. We went to a Shoreline for pictures and then the celebration at the party venue. The day was extremely busy for everyone and I trusted them to do their job which is to capture the every important moments. I paid in advance and did not receive video until two months later. The photos were not that great either. I paid for 200 photos and only received 160 which the lady claimed that because I added more to my package later that there was a confusion on her part. In either case, it was her(the store's owner) responsibility to communicate that to the older guys doing the job. I had to call her many times and send her pictures of my daughter when she was a kid to include in the video. She kept losing the photos. She claimed I never sent them, then I emailed them so many times. They are are very incompetent and unprofessional. It is sad that our Latino business owners don't have a clue how to deal with customers. If you are looking for good and professional service. Do not go there. Be careful, so you don't get ripped off and if you want your stuff right away don't count on this business. Very disappointed and unhappy to have gone there. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

Beatriz and Maribel assisted me with everything I needed for my event. The tuxedos and dresses were perfect and the banquet hall was so beautifully decorated. Everything was also reasonably priced for my budget. I will be coming back here for future events! Thanks so much Beatriz for making my day so wonderful! read more

Great service!!! They always have what I need for my parties, a great variety of Colors for table cloths as well!

My mother went and ordered a dress. She picked it up from the catalogue. And when she went to go try it out, it was the wrong size. She claimed that she could not return the dress. So she tried to fix it. It looked even worst. Luckily my mother had a back up. I "do not" recommend this place to anyone. Specially on an important event. read more

Maribel was very nice and courteous but the old lady (I think her name is Beatriz) was so INCONSIDERATE... We ordered black ribbons for a funeral with Silver writing and ordered rosaries in clear with silver chain to match. We received the rosaries in gold and when we told her that's not what we ordered she said "well that's all I have, take it or get a refund but make it quick I have a customer waiting". Really??? Wtf are we? We paid for the services too so we are customers as well... Smh never coming back... Awful customer service.. read more

This place is terrible, please listen to me when I say do not do business with these people. My friend had set up a party bus rental for her BIRTHDAY from 9pm-1am. She gave a down payment of $200. The bus arrived at 8pm even when my friend placed it for 9pm, the bus driver never called or let my friend know that he was there. He then left and never returned when we called the lady who was in "charge". She was DRUNK on the phone, I mean how unprofessional is this place?! No wonder they have 3 stars. We insisted for the driver to return but the lady responded with "Nope its over the driver cannot return". So thanks to this unprofessional place, she basically ruined my friends birthday! read more

Attended my cousins quinceañera last weekend and all I can say is that my mouth dropped on how elegantly decorated the hall was. The ballon arches were amazing I wish I knew how to do that. The table cloths and chair covers were very clean and the centerpiece were lovely covered in lilac ribbon and had an Eiffel Tower placed on the center. The DJ played every song request by my cousin and the photographer captured every joyful moment that was spent there. Amazing customer service I hope to attend another event at this place. read more

This is my go to place for linen rentals!! Her selection is enormous with a huge variety of colors, different types of fabrics and different sizes. If you need round, square or rectangular...tablecloths, overlays or skirtings...you need to come here. Her prices can't be beat!! And the best part is, you don't need to wash them before you return them. read more

Avoid this place especially for photography and video for your special event. So unprofessional my wedding video/photos seems like a home recording video. The photographer didn't had time to print out the wallet size pic to passed out during the reception to my guests as they had agree but he sure did had time to go print out other photos to sell to my bridesmaids.Smh read more

Great customer service! I always come here when I need anything for my family celebrations/parties. They have limos, dresses for quinceañeras, tux, arrangements, photographers, table and chair bundles, halls, etc. read more

Avoid coming to this place at all cost. The old women that runs the shop isn't even there majority of the time, very unorganized and selfish. I had made an order to pick up some ribbons and I told the irresponsible old woman to call me once they had arrived. But she waited until the very last minute to do so. In fact I had to even call her to even get my ribbons instead of awaiting a call. How imprudent. Such a place like this should be closed down for bad customer service and honestly, lack of there even being a need for such a place that doesn't even attend customers properly. read more

HORRIBLE DJ!! Sorry to be blunt about it it really was awful, the dj did not know how to play the music and then would play the wrong music and not one to dance for, then would try and add different sounds to make it sound cool but it would mess up the whole song, and when he tried to change to another song the switch was just horrible and would jump around genres way to often that one could not enjoy a single genre longg enough. It came to the point where we were playing music off our phone because the man had not idea. Although I do have to say the food had very good flavor. If they offer to put a dj, say no!!! Spend the extra money to get a dj of your own it will turn out better in the end! read more

Came in here to get a tuxedo for my nephew, very last minute.. 2 days before the event. But luckily Maribel was able to assist us in getting him the tuxedo he wanted to arrive by the next day! From my experience, Maribel went above and beyond to help us make sure it arrived on time. read more

So this place is really cheap as far as table clothes and chair covers. They also have dresses that you can order from catalogue and tux rentals. the place isn't nice and there products aren't of very good quality. Beatriz the owner/ worker seems to do everything herself and is extremely unprofessional about it. I went in to see about tablecloths and chair covers since the display outside looked good and i don't really judge a place by appearance i decided to try it. It takes forever to talk to someone since she is always busy and does not hesitate to let you know it. When the girl who helps her finally addressed me she suggested i look at the catalogue for the bridesmaids dresses i had seen elsewhere. I found the same dress and came back a while later to order one of them i had several pictures of the original dress i had seen and they assured me it was the same dress. well after forgetting to verify if it was indeed the same dress and never calling us back after she had finally called the company. we went to pick up the dress which was a completely different color and fabric than the one we discussed. She claims she cannot take the dress back and she also had the audacity to say that the dress will not sell in her store because it is a xxl, which is BS because these dresses run extremely small so a XXl is more like a Large and most woman are a large(12/14). This place is terrible! She lied to me about calling me several times and now I am out $50 for the dress deposit that she won't return even though its the wrong dress. read more

This place is awful! I didn't walk out without buying anything because I had no choice and I have no time to go somewhere else to purchase a lace I need for Friday... and today is Thursday! (The place down the street didn't have the one I needed). Any way this place is cluttered but I guess the looks of it is not even the point. Its the damn attitude these people have. The lady which I know is the owner is a real piece of work (for better words) Her husband is too! They both act like you owe them something and like they're doing you a favor by keeping the store doors open for you to come in. First off they don't take debit for less than $20... Fine I went to the bank to get cash but asked VERY POLITELY if they could have the lace cut and ready because I was on my very short lunch break. The lady said "Well I'm not cutting it til you get back" and shook her head with an attitude she said "plus the price my husband quoted you is probably not the right price I have to see it, go get your money and we'll see when you get back" OMG! are you serious lady!!! so rude. Ok fine I had no choice, so I returned with the money. She knows I'm on my short lunch.... She has no change for a $20!!!!! WHAT?? WOW!!! the young girl asked the old man if he can go get change. He looks at her.. turns around and ignores her!! So she looks irritated herself goes to the back of the store then as she's walking out to go to the other store they have next door he tells her "Here, you want me to go?" she says "No I'll go" !@#$%$%^^&&^ Just get my change!!! I'm in a damn hurry you damn rude people!! I guess customer service is not anything that even crosses their mind! UGH!! I felt so mad as I was walking out and still am pissed at the way I was treated!! You had to be there to see it I guess. IT WAS NOT A PLEASANT VISIT THERE, THAT'S FOR SURE! bottom line is the people here are rude and unprofessional. I have no clue how these people have remained open for so many years. I know this place has been open for years because I lived in Wilmington all my life until a few years ago. but I work in Wilmington and I'm still here everyday. Thanks Yelp for letting me vent. People I hope your smarter than I was and choose another place to shop at. read more

This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The owner (Beatriz) is a lair. I went in to order ribbon for my daughter's baptism. When I went in to pick up my order they next day, the wording on the ribbon was completely incorrect. My daughter's name was spelled incorrectly, and the last name was missing. I let Beatriz know that the ribbon was incorrect, and she tried charging me an additional $10.50 to redo them. I told her I would not pay any additional fees, as this was their mistake not mine. She rudely told me there's an additional fee to redo them. i asked her for a refund, and she refused to give me the full amount. She claimed she had to pay someone to use their machine to print the ribbon. She deducted a fee for the ribbon used, and by the time she was done deducting cost for BS fees, my refund total was $2.00, out of $21.95. At that point I was tried of arguing with her, because obviously she wasn't going to admit she was wrong. I told her that she could keep the ribbon, because it wasn't going to do me any good to take it. She obviously doesn't have a conscious. She stood there and lied with a straight face, while refusing to give me a refund. I will never go back to this place. Beware of Beatriz! This place deserves negative stars! read more

PLEASE READ!!! If I can rate this place negative stars I would! They always had me running around when it came down for my daughters 16. There's soooo much I can say I wasn't Happy about!!! First of all them just giving me the run around was horrible! The owner Beatriz was never there! Her shop was always left alone! What kind of business is that? Also if one of her employees were there they wouldn't be able to help they would send me looking for her! I would also Call her confirming the date of my daughters 16 and at the time but it took me almost 3 days before her party to get in touch with her. That's not even all of it... when it was time for the party we had to set up a few hours before and there were cockroaches!!! Right when we walked inTo the front, the whole room, and especially IN THE KITCHEN! That's extremely unprofessional and unhygienic! It was so disgusting.. so when we also got my daughters dress it was completely different than What she wanted in the catalog. The Color was different and since I already put a down payment on it before it was ordered cause she didn't allow me to put a payment down after we seen the dress in person I find out it was the wrong size! And it was falling apart and she said that she can't send it back and we have to keep the dress like that cause she can't do anything about it. How was I supposed to know it was going to look like that!? She promised me the dress looked exactly like the one in the catalog and that it was good quality material (WHICH WAS A LIE.) But not even that! After the party she was rushing us out of there, not really giving us time to get everything we need out. Later she told me and my daughter that the photos will be ready in 3 days, so we waited for her to Call and let us know when to come in for an appointment to look at the photos and she never called I've always tried calling and she either ignores me or she doesn't answer not knowing whens a good time to Call. So 6 months go by and nothing! So I finally get a hold of her on the phone and then she puts me on hold for about 2 hours while she's talking to someone else. I found this ridiculous, she could have told me to Call her back atleast instead of having me wait! FINALLY when me and my daughter go look at the pictures she said that everything will be ready by the time we get there.. so when we do get there NOTHING'S ready! It was so horrible and it's just not a good place to go. I WOULDN'T EVER RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!! EVEN until this day I'm STILL waiting on my daughters pictures. Oh and before I forget I'm not sure What the old man's name is that takes pictures But anyways he was a pervert! He kept harassing me, my family, and even friends! he would constantly stare at the females in the room. I remember one of my daughters friends little sister come up to me telling me how she felt uncomfortable around him and she's ONLY 12! I felt so terrible, so I asked him if he needed anything because he kept following her around the salon until I asked him why and he told me he was just walking and she was the one following him! Yeah right!! I already tried telling Beatriz but she ignored it, she was also very rude to my daughter she would yell at her because she was just looking at the albums and telling her not to touch them because she'll ruin it, that's when I had enough of her and wanted to tell the people the truth about my experience! I really Hope this will help someone's decision and if not them well good luck I Hope your experience won't be as bad as my experience. Oh Yeah before I forget to mention it was my daughters 16 and everything they made such as the invitation, photo album, photo DVD, party favors, her cup, crown, etc. All said 15, it was completely terrible! read more
