Very good, with good service and reasonable price. Flavors were not as special as I had hoped. It was "fine" and worth the price but not memorable. read more

I ordered the three course meal starting with the crunchy deep fried salmon roll which consists of three, decent sized maki rolls topped with sesame sauce and pickled ginger. The roll tasted salty, the salmon they used tasted like canned salmon and it just was ok. I wouldn't order it again. My fiancé ordered the Tijgergarnalen and wasn't pleased with the shrimp at all, shrimp tasted fras if it was frozen. But the avocado sauce was nice. The second thing I ordered was the Haddock Filet with mashed potatoes and lobster sauce / Schelvisfilet. Now THAT was worth waiting for. The haddock was immaculate with the sauce and potatoes and I couldn't have imagined it any other way. My fiancé ordered the Mixed Grill, there was more vegetables than meat. The meat was really fatty, and he didn't finish For dessert I ordered the Kaasplankje which comes with five different cheeses to try, not impressed by any means. It gets a three stars from me

The cafe is quite big and also has a terrace in front of it. There are a lot of seats and tables but still they could be all taken if you come here during the weekend because it's such a popular place. You can come here for coffee with pastries, lunch with sandwiches/salads and a fresh juice or drinks and snacks. I tried a cheese cake with berry rose sauce and beetroot nut cake and they were both delicious. The coffee is also nice. The interior is lovely. Lots of plants and cute decoration and the whole place just has this super chill vibe. The staff is friendly and the prices are good. This is my new favorite place in Utrecht!

So, intrigued! Ordered a tuna sandwich. Was alright. It was good, but not very special in means of taste. Just nice. Maybe should try them again for dinner some day. But not a through-the-roof experience. Maybe I should ask the staff for their star dishes and return some day! Fun fact: I ordered tea and the teabags came wrapped in a very cute origami-styled wrapper. I know that's due to the supplier, but still fun that they choose to serve them!

Good place to go and has solid music. Down-to-earth and doesn't usually have a line. Has quirky side - several weekends, they actually had a barber there in the evenings giving free straight razor shaves. Funny.

Small rooms and sometimes even a personal introduction to the movie (that was the case in 2010/2011, not sure if they still do that) makes this place very attractive indeed!
