The windows are big and it feels like when you eating in a cozy living room. There is also a terrace where you can have you dinner outside. For only 35 euro's you can choose your own 3-courses dinner! The kitchen is French, but also have some Spanish and Asian influences. Next to the organic meat and fish, there are also delicious oysters as an appetizer, vetarian dishes and also incredible desserts which you definately cannot skip! For example the chocolate dessert which comes with 3 different chocolatemousse!

The front is a busy bar which had a hip crowd, a nice selection of gin (which I unfortunately food not sample). In the back there are tables providing an atmosphere more suited for conversation. Service was fast and attentive, and gave us a table for one hour (since we had not made any reservation). This was no problem since since and food came promptly. Food was reasonable in price and great tasting, although some would find the portions small. I found them just right. Get some home made French fries on the side if you are hungry. At the end the single espresso was really good. Recommended.

Overall very good dining experience here!…read more We're very hungry after driving all day for over 450 miles. As I usually do, I consulted nearby restaurants to see what we wanted to eat. There were quite a few Asian ones popped up, so we decided to try our luck with some Korean food. Since it was such an nice evening, we decided to stroll along a canal to work up more appetite. Originally we wanted to go to a different restaurant, but when we got there it was full, and the server told us it'll be an hour wait. We couldn't wait that long, so we looked for an alternative. We found Khan, and we weren't disappointed. Very fortunately we found only table open. Service was prompt, pleasant, and courteous. It wasn't overly friendly, perhaps reflective of cultural background. Food was very good--of course we were very hungry by the time we got there. Number of banchan (side dishes) offered was minimal compared to what I'm used to in the States. My only complaint was the overpriced foods! It's probably because we are in Amsterdam, but it might be because there's not much compensation and Korean cuisine is a novelty around here. You will enjoy food here. Highly recommended.

Cozy spot for Italian and kid friendly but not a spot run over by children! Big difference ya know…read more;) the chef came out and translated the Dutch menu for me which was incredibly kind. The wine is good and inexpensive. The cocktail list looks great and the linguine carbonara was delicious!!!! The chef made my son a simple yet also delicious spaghetti (not on the menu) which he loved and I thought was very awesome for him to do for us. I'd like to return and try the pizzas next. They look amazing and smell incredible and are huge so definitely shareable. Update- I returned for the pizza tonight and wow! The margarita was a huge hit for my toddler who almost ate the whole thing!! I've never seen him eat so much! But the Buratta pizza with asparagus was my fave. Both were my favorite pizza found in Amsterdam thus far!!!

I found it!…read more They serve what they call in Chicago "Napoli style pizza", meaning it's a wood-burning-oven thin-crust pizza, theoretically from Naples, with nice charred bits on the bottom of the crust. I asked for extra sauce and cheese on my Margharita and Diavolo and they came out perfectly. I am not sure if they actually read my request for extra cheese and sauce on my delivery notes, but the Universe provided and it all turned out ok. The crust was crispy but not too dry, the ratio of toppings to crust was ideal, and all the toppings tasted nice and fresh. The only downside is they don't cut the pizza. Delivery was fast, but the guy didn't read any of my delivery notes to the driver explaining how to find my place. I guess he was in too much of a hurry? Also the tiramisu was transported in the insulated bag on top of the pizzas, so it melted a bit before it got here, and I'm sure the pizza also suffered a loss of heat as a result. I thought it was the driver's fault, but he blamed the restaurant. So at least he was good at covering his ass. The tiramisu had a weird texture to the non-cookie part, a little spongy, almost like they used some cream cheese in the marscapone layer, and it also was a little tangy, like they used some yogurt too. I didn't taste any alcohol, and the flavors were pretty simple. It was ok, but definitely not worth the price, since it costs almost as much as a delicious delicious pizza. I'll definitely order from them again, until they mysteriously disappear like so many Amsterdam restaurants do, or ban me from ordering there anymore because I love them too much and spend too much time camped out front in their proverbial bushes... that is if they had bushes in Amsterdam.

Ambience is definitely cool, loud music so don't expect an intimate dinner. Service could be better, they are polite but extremely slow, waited for ever to get water and then even longer to order and that was because I called the girl, the people bringing the food were very friendly but once again server never check on me. The food was very good but fish was a little raw. Ordered miso salmon with a side of steam rice with pineapple on top, very nice touch!

For starters we got the ceviche and the rice crispies. The ceviche was in a coconut type of sauce. It was alright, nothing crazy special. It was fresh and I could tell the coconut was the twist as usually ceviche isn't really served with coconut milk. Our second starter was the rice crispies. It's just deep fried (or pan fried) rice with fish on top that is sauced. It was pretty tasty and had a lot of flavor. For my main I got the steak tartare. It was good! I like that it was prepared table side. Please tell the waitress/waiter if you speak Engels or else you'll be just nodding to them explaining everything that is going into the tartare. I thought that was enjoyable and I got to taste it before accepting it Now the bad. If you're looking for a cozy date where you can talk intimately, this isn't the spot. The music was blaring like it was a club. You're pretty much talking loudly, not quite yelling to get through to the other person. Unless you're at a booth and then you can talk to each other by getting close to each other's ear. Price. Let's talk about it. I paid for convenience, and ultimately that will be a deciding factor for a lot of people. We didn't want to go back out into the city for dinner so this was what it was. The dishes were also on the high side. It's what happens at a hotel restaurant. They were good, but some of the dishes had inaccurate descriptions. For instance, the grilled tuna had soba noodles listed on the menu. What came out was glass noodles. Totally different in taste and feel. That much sauce in soba noodles could work but on glass noodles it was too much. The bill came out to be exactly what I thought it would be with 4 entrees, 5 drinks and 2 starters. ~250€. I know a lot of people would say that it's truly not worth it, but those staying and paying for convenience would just say that it is what it is. If you're looking for a taste of Netherlands, I would definitely not recommend this place. If you're looking for a place to just chill and get a drink for the night before sleeping, this might be more of the place to eat.
