The gentleman who delivered the flowers rang the doorbell, waited for me to answer, put the vase in my hands and wished me a happy Mother's Day. This meant a lot to me as other florists have not rung the bell and just left the flowers on the doorstep. In a world where everybody is rushing to the next stop, this was gracious and refreshing.

I ordered an arrangement for a baby boy and when it arrived at the hospital I was shocked. Some of the flowers were already wilted in the arrangement. I immediately reached out to flowershopping.com to report this issue. Their solution was to send out the duplicate arrangement with better flowers. The issue I had was I ordered a "premium" and got the "as show" and in a different floral container. They had to substitute because they did not have the container I ordered. They also substituted the flowers because they did not have the flowers in stock. It all was just a mess. It was an ugly arrangement with half dead flowers. I would have been embarrassed to send these out. They advised they could give me a 15% refund for the flowers. I would not accept and they said in order to get a full refund I had to return them to the florist. They also advised that I would have to deliver them to the florist. The location is over 46 mins for me and with a new baby at home that is not possible. Even though they are the ones that delivered a less than satisfactory experience. They said they did provide the service as it stated in the substitution policy. I have no issue with that. My issue is that they delivered half dead flowers and not the "premium" bouquet I paid for. They then offered me a 25% refund and that would be their final offer. As I was not able to return them myself I had to accept a 25% credit to recover some of the money lost. I can tell you what I ordered and what I received was not even close. Possible business, horrible customer service. I wish I would have known before placing this order as their reviews are horrible to begin with. Seeing that the flowers cost over $100.00 what I got was NOT a $100.00 arrangement.

Expressions Unlimited delivered a very small pot with 4 small succulents in it. Within 3 days of receipt, my friend stated the leaves on ALL FOUR succulents fell off and the plants appeared dead. My friend went up to the shop to ask about this, and they accused her of "water logging" the plants since the container (that THEY SENT the plants in) is not appropriate for drainage for that type of plant. First of all, they chose this container, not us. Second of all, there is no way the plants would develop root rot and die within 3 days, the plants must've been overwatered before receipt. Third of all, they refused to replace the plants or issue any refund, even partial. I am horribly disappointed and would not recommend this business to anyone looking for customer service or healthy plants/flowers.

She was able to take my payment using another method (after she made the arrangement, talk about trust) and had the order DELIVERED in just over an hour from beginning to end!!!! I wanted an arrangement that was bright and cheerful, like a bouquet of sunshine, and this arrangement featuring gerbera daisies was the perfect choice! Since I live in Portland, OR, and my friend lives in Greenville, I decided to call a florist in her zip code rather than use a company that coordinates. I wanted to make sure the arrangement was an appropriate size and by calling the florist directly, I was able to ask questions and even tailor the arrangement. In this case, they added some yellow gerbera daisies to add contrast to the predominantly orange arrangement. The vase itself was modern rustic, not glass, which was another preference. All the arrangements come in Standard, Deluxe and Premium so you can select the size and price that works for you. I went with Deluxe. The woman who answered the phone was so helpful and patient, answering all of my questions. I placed the order online and called back to make sure they received my instructions about adding a splash of yellow and she confirmed my order. Flowers were delivered the next day and my friend said they were gorgous! Hello! More importantly, they brightened up her day and let her know that even though we are on opposite coasts, that she's in my thoughts and I'm here for her. Highly recommend.
