My new unlocked iPhone 16 Pro arrived from Apple last evening. The option to transfer my esim (iPhone to iPhone) did not function and after 2 hours on the phone with Apple last night, they conceded AT&T would have to do this. It was far from as simple as Apple would have you believe in their commercials. It was necessary to do this at an AT&T store, having to present my photo id and both iPhones (I have a normal plan which I can cancel anytime.). Leonardo transferred the esim in under 10 minutes! There were no extra fees and my plan remains exactly the same. Great customer service and great experience today!
