They took full responsibility for the communication and process failures and will be reimbursing me for all fees and interest accrued. I am very pleased with their response and taking ownership of the situation. However, three stars is max because there were problems that need to be fixed. The outcome gives me a more favorable view of the bank but the proof of change will come in the future when no other customer has to deal with a similar situation. Until then, 3 stars is my final rating. Anyone using Capital Community Bank for a Solar loan should be VERY careful. I would recommend finding financing elsewhere. I took such a loan where the payments began 1 year later. The bank never emailed me or sent a letter regarding how much payments would be and how to arrange payments. When I realized the loan payments probably needed to start, and I had received nothing, I had to track down contact information for the bank. By that time, my first payment was already one month late so there were late fees and interest added (I had the ability and the plan to pay off the entire loan when I received notification of date due so I should have had zero cost). I wonder how long they would have let the account build penalties before they decided to reach out. Next, I had my bank wire the entire payment to CC bank. I called CC bank about 1 week later to be told the money had not been applied to the loan (it took them awhile to track down that the money had been sent- despite me having the necessary information). when I asked why the delay, they said it take 7 business days for checks to clear. the problem- it was a wire transfer, not a check! I have sent a formal complain and have not heard anything back from them. Nothing, nada, nil. What makes this worse is that my son had the same thing happen to him so I am not an isolated incident. I have asked Sigora Solar to find another lender or at the very least warn people who decided to take a solar loan with CC bank that they need to be very proactive about their account and know exactly when payments are due and how to pay. My advice- find a loan somewhere else. Heck, I wouldn't even do my general banking with an institution that has these types of business practices. I have no idea if there was purpose behind all of this or incompetence- but in either case, look elsewhere. If you are military or a dependent, USAA bank is my choice.

(I found this after actually shopping around) I ended up paying off my loan and went to a competitor one day later. When I paid this loan off there was a $6 lien change fee however, because I paid off the loan the next business day she did not mail out my title to the DMV. She still charged me $6 for a lien change that was never processed. She initially said it was a documentation fee which was again another lie.I just wonder who is keeping that money? They called me today to re-open my account. When I tried to ask her about that $6 fee she got super heated and hung up the phone. Their rates are WAY HIGHER than any competitor I went too! Shop around before doing business here. I DO NOT trust these people with my financial needs!

She really made a great impression on us and we feel good about our loan. No one ever wants to get a title loan, we just moved here and money has been tight.
