You can even pick up some "Affordable Florida Oceanfront Real Estate" for $1.99 which is a little baggie filled with beach sand and some seashells. LOL Grab a postcard to send to a friend or family member, buy your kid a toy, or even get yourself a backscratcher for that itch you just can't reach. I noticed everything was marked with affordable prices, so you won't break the bank while picking up items for those back at home. As for the t-shirts and tank tops here, they do screen printing. Tons of designs to choose from. You pick the shirt and the design and it only takes them 30 seconds to print it on the shirt for you. They also do the screen printing if you bring in your own shirt for just $5.00. Not a bad deal. Perfect shop if you are visiting St. Augustine and would like to pick up some souvenirs for yourself or others. Also not a bad place for locals if you happen to be in the market for an interesting shirt.

When you are with a group of friend and someone wants to try things, the music is blasting! So if you are bothered by loud noises I wouldn't go in this place. I also, have mixed feeling about the items. I do think that some things can be overpriced but somethings are really cute and feel unique. I know that these shops are going to be more money because it is a tourist spot, but sometimes things are little crazy IMO. If you are looking for cute gifts you can find something for 20 bucks but if you want a dress get great to spend around 100 on one thing.

My friend purchased a purse and after buying it, she noticed it had a white line of glue along the outside. About 5 minutes after purchasing the bag, my friend brought it back and they wouldn't refund her. Their return policy is store credit only. My friend found another bag to swap with the original and after tax, she owed $.92. The women at the front counter were giving her a hard time and finally, another employee came over to tell her it was fine and to just take it. While my friend should have checked the bag more thoroughly, for being a "faith-based" store, they absolutely do not care about customer experiences or the quality of the goods they sell. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but this is not a good store to support.

Island Beachwear sells quality beachwear and souvenirs in a different, non-skeezy atmosphere. It doesn't feel like a cheap place nor is it dirty. There's much less cheap imported junk and more stylish, quality clothing and memorabilia. If you want something that says, "St. Augustine" on it or need beach supplies before hitting the sand this is the place.

I explained that I am far-sited and couldn't properly see the 3. I showed my daughter, who has 20/20 vision, the price tag and she said that the 3 looks likes a 1. If you ask me this place is a scam.

DO NOT SHOP HERE…read more We came in because the windows had some cute items. We came out of our way to stop here. We had just left a soap shop, where my friend purchased some soap and put the soap in her pocket as it was one bar. As we were standing in the front of this store, an older woman, who turned out to be the manager, came to her employee at the front and whispered something in her ear. I didn't really pay much attention at the time but something felt off about it. At the same time they were trying to pull items in from the rain that had just started. We were then followed the rest of the time we were in the store and as we were leaving questioned if we wanted to purchase anything. After I left my friend said they had mentioned something about her pickpocketing and were staring at her pockets. It all made sense what we had experienced. I called and spoke to that manager explaining what had happened and my disappointment. She first blamed it on new staff till it was revealed SHE was the older woman who whispered in the woman's ear. She was rude and defensive and ultimately hung up on me saying "Sorry YOU were uncomfortable." This was blatant racism and profiling and I highly suggest you don't shop at such a disgusting place. Shameful.
