While looking at funeral home options, every one of them was trying to upsell us and had the most outrageous pricing. All of the big name funeral homes were treating us like we were just another number and looking to profit. When I came across Care I knew immediately they were the right choice. When I spoke to Courtney on the phone I explained everything to her. You could genuinely hear the emotion and empathy in her voice. I explained to her that the hospital didn't let us see my brothers body for whatever reason. She was not happy about that and neither was her husband Aaron. Aaron assured us that if they were the choice for us they would get my brother before closing that day and we would be able to come and see him the very next day, And that is exactly what happened. Every promise they made to us they delivered on it. Arron, Courtney and Anastasia made such a difficult time in our life a little bit easier. They walked us through the entire process and gave suggestions where needed. When I arrived the day of the funeral they had already set up the flowers for us and the room looked beautiful. During this hard time we forgot to bring a belt, socks and shoes for my brother. On the day of the funeral I remembered and asked Aaron if my dad and brother brought the shoes, socks and belt, he told me no but he went out and got a belt and socks for my bother himself. I could not believe that he cared that much. While our mind were scattered and not in the right place he didn't want to add to our stress, So he went out and handled it for us to make sure our little brother was taken care of. I Will forever be grateful for that. I was the first person to arrive the day of the funeral and was scared to go see my little bother, Aaron walked me into the room over to my brother and put his hand on him and told me " Its ok you can touch him" When I did, He took a few steps back and let me have some time with my little bother. Aaron this moment will stick with me forever. Thank you for being there for me. I Could go on forever about Care, Aaron, Courtney and Anastasia but I'll end it here. They would call and let us know. Suffice it to say no calls or communication. Went there today 8/22 (she died on 8/08) and was told they have been very busy and didn't have time to call us. We finally picked everything up today after putting up a little fuss. It is so sad that during this most trying time Kraft Sussman dropped the ball and created more stress and heartache.

Dealing with the loss of a loved one is already overwhelming enough, and having an affordable, compassionate place to turn to made such a difference for our family. From the front desk to everyone we encountered, the entire staff was exceptional, but I especially want to recognize Marquan. He was truly an angel to our family and jumped through hoops for us at every turn. He made an incredibly difficult process so much easier, explained everything clearly, walked us through all of our options, and took care of so many things so we didn't have to. We had an issue with an incorrect cause of death after the doctor had already signed off on my mom's death certificate. I spoke with the FD who is also the Neptune Vegas manager and learned the government was involved with NV state laws controlling when our loved ones will be available, Of course ! Even in death the government is looking out for us ! lol ! Since my Itinerary differs from what the government knows whats best, it was dragged out not to my satisfaction. The FD made some calls and was able to speed up the cremation and had the certifications issued. Neptune understood my anger and went above and beyond to rectify the state's absurd way of operating. 5 stars for Ms Jones and her staff.

Very disappointing and uncomfortable experience…read more I recently had someone from Neptune come to my home, and unfortunately, the experience was very uncomfortable. From the moment she arrived, I felt pressured and was disappointed by the way she handled the situation. She rang my doorbell repeatedly and then used my Ring doorbell repeatedly as well. By the time I was able to get to the door, she was banging on my door. I understand that she was there to discuss the arrangements and obtain a signature, but I did not feel that this aggressive approach was appropriate, especially at my home. What was even more upsetting is that after she left, I noticed that my welcome sign, which had been on my front door, was missing. I cannot say that she took it because I did not see her do so, but the timing was concerning, particularly because the only reason she seemed upset was that I did not sign the paperwork. This experience left me feeling uncomfortable and pressured during what is already a very difficult and emotional time for my family. I believe customers should be given information and time to make an important decision without feeling intimidated or pressured into signing something immediately. I hope Neptune takes this feedback seriously and addresses how representatives approach customers in their homes.

TLDR: For $1600 I would not trust them with your loved one's…read more My Mother passed on 2/13 and it took over a month and a half before she was even shipped to me. Poor communication from the arrangers and poor time management (closed all weekend) made getting my mother a lei and dress to be cremated in stressful and difficult. Once that was done I was told over the phone that I would receive emails when mom "entered the queue " and then when that was done I would also receive another email with a tracking number (I live in NC). I wait almost a full week before emailing on the 3/16, asking what the status of mom was. Again, I received a phone call letting me know that she hasn't entered the queue yet, but did receive her Lei and dress. I wait until 3/26 with no confirmation of what the heck was going on with my mom. Again I received a quick phone call letting me know that apparently mom has been cremated and this whole time I was waiting for an urn. I asked to speak to the director as this I felt was a failure of communication. Instead I was passed to a (thankfully) more competent arranger, not the director, who apparently miraculously found an urn for my mother and was able to ship her by end of business day. I feel like someone forgot how to send an email in 2025 and that is insane. I'm posting this here for others and as accountability for them to improve on their communication with out of state families.
