The owner Sotero responded to my request for quote very promptly. I hired his company to clean my gutters. He promised to arrive at 9am on a Saturday and he arrived at 9 am sharp ! He did a fantastic job, he climbed on the roof and made sure not only the gutters were clean but the entire roof. He also blew all the leaves on my driveway on my walkway, left everything looking really nice !! He even cleaned the gutters and blew the roof on my backyard shed. He even noticed that there was a small hole on my roof shed and he repaired it without me even asking !!! Furthermore I can tell that he is very knowledgeable about roofs as he was able to give me a lot of advice about how to properly take care of my roof. Finally the price was very reasonable. I'd rather support a family business that one of those large companies that will end up subcontracting work to someone else. So I will be calling Sotero for all my roofing needs ! I had severely clogged gutters that he cleaned for me. He took, and sent me multiple photos of his before and after work before he even left my property. Owner Dave Wilson oversaw the entire job. He was very patient with me and was very attentive and responsive to all my questions and requests. The on-site manager, Russell, was present throughout the entire job and was extremely responsive. He kept everything moving smoothly, made sure all materials that were needed were there and in good condition, and the workers were ready to go. Russell went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and that I was completely happy with all aspects of the Job. They replaced 3 skylights, caulked inside and did finish work. The skylights look great! They did not just drop the skylights in and hammer them down. They allowed me to look at placement and tweak it to where I was happy with how it looked. This attention to detail was carried through throughout the job. They replaced outside rotted boards around the doormer with PVC at no charge. They showed up early and stayed late every day. They worked very hard every minute they were here. All of the workers were very polite and pleasant. When they were finished, they did a thorough job of cleaning up and removing all waste materials and packaging from the premises. There was not a trace of debris anywhere. The overall job looks wonderful. It is so nice to work with contractors that truly care about the job and sincerely want to make sure that the homeowner is happy. Iron Horse Roofing inspected my roof and identified hail damage. They assisted with filing an…read moreinsurance claim, and the insurer approved a full replacement, including both the shingle roof and the copper roof over the front entrance. After the work was completed, two major issues appeared: The shingle roof leaked. The copper roof installation was extremely poor and clearly not done by someone experienced with copper roofing. Although Iron Horse Roofing returned to fix the shingle leak, the copper roof was so badly installed that I had to hire another roofing company to replace it entirely. Given the amount paid by insurance, I expected them to subcontract a qualified copper specialist if they lacked the expertise, but that did not happen. The project showed significant corner‑cutting, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.
