There is one girl that is nice enough but the guy who seems to be in charge always makes me feel like I am a pain in his ass. Computers seem to be set up to make it more difficult to do what you need to do. Not usually such a negative person, but this place has never failed to make me dislike human beings so much, I would recommend finding another place where you can at least be treated like a human being.

But for some reason the file I gave them this time would require me to go home and do more to it because they're too lazy to do it. I work in printing for over 10 years so I know the difficultly of the task and this would have taken them less than 5 minutes to complete. I won't be coming back to this as my local print shop anymore. And I won't be advising friends to use this shop anymore. I needed this printing doing today and now because for some reason I have to change the way I give them a file, I won't be able to get the product I need. No wonder the printing industry is dying, with attitudes like that.

But now and again I do need to print things. My natural inclination is to love Copy Time because it is open super late and on weekends, and located not too far from my place. But there are some low points. For example, the computers never have my font and when opening Word documents, they always mess up the formatting. That said, I have to always remember to convert things to PDF format so they print off the way I want them to. The prices are also kind of annoying: 50 cents for the first page and 10 cents for every page thereafter. And I get that, but I think if you are printing out a lot of pages, they should only be 10 cents, and the first page 50 if you are only printing one page. But that's just me, and I am silly, and ultimately, it's not super expensive. I have seen both more expensive and cheaper printing places in the city, so beggars can't be choosers. Also, there are a lot of other basic services here, many of which I will probably never have to use. But there is faxing, and copying, and more. And even though you have to ask to find out where the heck your papers are printing to, I like the work space area in front to organize and staple things and such. All in all, pros and cons. Overall though, when I need it, Copy Time gets the job done.
